College Football Open Post

(last year’s National Championship game: The Alabama Crimson Tide over the Texas Longhorns, 37-21)

This is Top Idol’s first (and most likely last) College Football Open Post!!!!111!!!!!!! Due to popular demand…sort of…we will now have a place to bitch and moan about play-calling and idiot announcers; a place to revel in our own victory or our arch-rival’s defeat; or even to voice puzzlement at what the big deal is. ^edited to add it helps to read the whole article. Kris did end up with tickets. lol major skimming fail.

  • deez

Edge, are you and the Ole Miss brethren on the “Fire Nutt” bandwagon yet?
Losing to Vandy was the beginning of his end at Ark. Flying banners over the stadium helps.
I can not stand that guy.

On a happier note: Margie!!!! WPS!!!!!! (although I really thought we blew it at the end)

    • On The Edge

Just a few…we’ll need a good text scandal or something to bring more on board. Problem is, most OM fans believe some fairy tale that Nutt was pushed out by a powerful few or left on his own, and that most of the Arkansas fans are just being “jellis haters” (I refuse to believe Kris Allen is a jellis hater). More want to blame his assistants (the “Fire Tyrone Nix” meme is full speed ahead), while others just think the JSU loss was so devastating that it irreversably knocked the team off the rails. Or it’s some bad karma for the combo of taking Masoli/turning down Admiral Ackbar/retiring Colonel Reb. No one gives a shit anymore…they’re focusing on volleyball or soccer, counting the days until basketball season, or they’re like me, thankful they have a back-up team to turn their attention to (Roll Tide, baby!). Won’t stop us from going to the Grove and getting drunk though…just don’t count on many making it to the stadium. Me? I’m packing up the red and blue and bringing out the houndstooth. Which reminds me…it’s now HATE week, isn’t it? GO BAMA, BEAT THE HOGS!

Though I’m still trying to figure out how Nutt’s coaching is responsible for the receivers’ cases of butterfingers. THREE dropped TDs? REALLY?

I WANT DEEZ TO DO A COLLEGE FOOTBALL POST EVERY SATURDAY :)

        • On The Edge

          Yaaaaay, me too me too!

(Just know I’m a Bama fan from here on out.)

          • deez

A CFB post we shall have!! Edge, Bama is gonna kick the Hogs’ collective ass so hard they may never find it again. I have absolutely no delusions about THAT!! Look what they did to Penn State. Ark is a pretty good team, and messages board tards are talking a good game, but uhm….yeah, NO CHANCE. Alabama is the best team since USC in ’06 (was it ‘o6?)

No knock on the Hogs, it could very well be their only loss, barring key injuries or some crazy meltdown.

Nutt. Arrrgghhh. People were sick of him before textgate proved that he was essentially harassing his own players through his buddy Teresa and her texts. (FOI showed she texted Nutt immediately before…and immediately after the infamous Mustain email was sent)

Also the computer forensics guy retrieved the emails from Nutt’s wife to Teresa, where she approved of the 2×4 attack on Mitch Mustain’s mother, jokingly saying she wish she could’ve helped. Assholes. The whole family. He blames his players or staff for losses, never himself. Nine years of poor clock management and shitty play-calling didn’t get him canned by itself…but all those things together were too much. Plus the fact that he flew to every interview for every open job in America while claiming to “love that helmet!”

          • margie

Athens was a blast!! Hogs won and I got to taunt my fellow OM friends about ole Nutt. It was a win-win weekend for me! I think they were ready to send me back home early.

Bama is gonna win but by how much is the key question.

Woohoo for CFB posts! Thanks TI and deez!

          • deez

I just hope there’s not another clip that summarizes the whole game that we get to watch OVER and OVER again. Remember seeing the one of the FIVE missed tackles on the Ingram TD run last year?(at least 5739751 times)

It could be 21-17, or it could just as easily be 56-0. Neither outcome would surprise me. If it’s a close loss, I hope it’s not because we got shanked in the ribs from Mark Curles’ officiating crew
with some “Florida calls.” ( I think I may have punched a couple of things last year)

          • On The Edge

Deez, I know it’s a rival week, but since Pirate day is over and all…could you maybe replace my hat with a little houndstooth fedora? The beer and boots can stay. ;)

I don’t think Nutt will be gone this year, primarily due to economics. We can’t afford to buy out his contract and UNC and aTm will be looking for new coaches too. Plus who would want to work for a school that fires you after one losing season? No, we have to suck it up until the timing is right.

          • deez

You’re right about that, just hope y’all don’t get stuck with him for 10 years…blah.
I shall go fedora hunting! Watch for it!

          • deez

Your Bear hat has now replaced your Jack Sparrow hat. Would you like a box of Tide on a stick, or perhaps a crying Tebow head on a stick? :)

          • On The Edge

Hmmm…maybe a little red and white shaker? I thought of a little elephant but that would be too Kris-tardy.

          • deez

The houndstooth doesn’t show up too well, but it’s still awesome!

I thought I might do a Hog hat, but I have a feeling that I may want to hide my affiliation after we get smoked Saturday, lol!

          • margie

I’ll take a pig snout and wear it proudly even if we get our asses kicked!!

          • deez

Would you prefer hat or snout?? Should we do this together and go down in a show of solidarity?

        • scoutfinch

          Yes, yes, YES!!! Every Saturday!

          • scoutfinch

(Ummm…that was supposed to go under TI’s comment about deez doing a post every Saturday…..sorry)

  • scoutfinch

As much as I love to watch football, I hate the stupid beer commercials that seem to have to go along with it!!!!

  • deez

James Madison over VT???!!!??? Boise’s feat doesn’t look so much the big deal anymore.

    • scoutfinch

That’s exactly what I was gonna say. Great minds think alike!

    • On The Edge

And South Dakota (!!!!!) beat Minnesota. Suddenly I don’t feel so bad about Ole Miss losing to Jacksonville State last week. This seems like more than a trend. If this keeps up we may get rid of the FBS/FCS divisions altogether and just be Div. I across the board!

      • JaneRochester

There goes my lead in the pool.

  • deez

OMG!!!!! FL & South FL tied 7-7 @ half!!!! (not convinced this team deserves its ranking!!)
Georgia struggling as well, although they are playing So Carolina @ home…so yeah, that should be a tough game. They are ranked as well though, so perhaps they are a bit over-rated as well?? Maybe the ‘Cocks are better than advertised.

    • margie

I think the Cocks are going to be good if they don’t tailspin at the end of the season. Florida looks horrible and I love it. I am off to go tailgate, get drunk and watch my piggies play now! WOO PIG SOOOIEEEE!!

      • deez

Booo. Our assessment of Florida was premature. They are going off now.

        WPS!!!!!!!

      • On The Edge

Just saw in my Twitter feed that Kris is at the Arkansas game. Wonder if anyone’s told Margie?

        • deez

Lol…I wonder if he got mobbed? Probably not. Everyone’s in football mode now.

Blech. Ark looked suckish. Receivers dropped SEVEN passes in the first half….also ZERO running game. If the OLine can’t open decent holes against ULM, they will killed by Ga.
I hope AJ Green is still suspended next week, maybe Richt doesn’t know the same people as Nutt, lol.

          • On The Edge

Well we’re shitting the bed again. I think they lied to us about the defense this year. We have NO defense, and ol’ En-Ricky keeps trying to run up the middle. If we go into SEC play 0-2 and lose to VANDY Houston can go suck a dick.

          • On The Edge

Phew…we won 27-13 but still that was TOO close. I think for sure Masoli will be the starter the rest of the season (Stanley’s a sophomore, he’ll get his chance, but he still needs to grow).

          • deez

Run up the middle??NUTT?? The hell, you say!!!

LOL. We used to have jokes about the actual contents of Nutt’s playbook.

          • margie

I didn’t see Kris. I heard he was there, but I wasn’t looking for him. I was pissed at the poor play by the Hogs. I get really engrossed in the game..lol

  • deez

Gah. Frakin’ Miss State. Way to go. I still don’t see why Auburn is getting all this good PR.

    • margie

Seriously Auburn is not all that. I don’t get the love affair the media is having with them. I was not impressed at all. I do think Miss State is getting better. Their coach will definitely improve that team.

      • On The Edge

Eh, this was one of those “can’t the stadium blow up with both teams in it?” kind of games for me. I know, in bad taste considering the “OMG HELL ON EARTH FUCKING REAL BLOWED-UP SHIT” in California tonight. Not a fan of either team. But I work with a lot of State people…I will surreptitiously enjoy the schadenfreude tomorrow.

  • deez

    Auburn vs Miss St tonight!

    • On The Edge

Deez, I LOVE “Every Day Should Be Saturday!” My favorite football blog EVAR.

      • deez

It’s hilarious! Do you comment there? I was reading comments a few days ago, and I SWEAR that one of them was you, LOL!! (I can’t remember the username!)

        • On The Edge

          Shhhhhh…;-)

          • On The Edge

I mean ;) (damnit, always forget the correct smilie code)

          • deez

            LMAO!!

            I KNEW IT!!!

Some of the funniest stuff ever are the parody videos of Nutt that a guy named Devicehigh @ one of the Hog boards did. IDK if they are things that would be as funny if you weren’t there for the whole fiasco, though. I’m gonna see if I can fin them.

          • deez

Background: Nutt can’t pronounce anyone’s name right…ever. He always insisted on putting an extra “a” in Malzahn. It drove everybody nuts (heh) The Listen Mister Guy is an infamous talk show host here. That’s his favorite saying to listeners he disagrees with.

            http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QH3ciiBn83Q

This one is FULL of lulz in the background if you know the story!

          • deez

This one is the best ever. The texting and the radio thing are hilarious. The godlike figure is Rick Schaeffer a sportscaster known as Sunshine Rick. (He could take the foulest lemons and try annoyingly hard to make lemonade.

          • deez

          • margie

Oh Deez I think I love you. Those videos are pure gold!! Are you on woopig?

          • On The Edge

Oh I get the mispronouncing thing…we have a player named Enrique Davis and he keeps calling him “En-Ricky!” And the way Nutt talks cracks me up. At Red Cup Rebellion (the SB Nation Ole Miss blog) they even make fun of how he talks.

You think Melinda will let us do another FB post this weekend?

          • margie

Who are you guys on EDSBS? Did you see the Nutt “Down by the River” one the other day? I love that site. Pure entertainment.

          • deez

            @Margie. I’m on Hogville

I don’t comment @EDSBS, but I did see Down by the River!!!

            LMAO! The Right Reverend!!!

          • margie

Hogville here too though I never post. Who is you team btw? Maybe you have said and I missed it.

          • deez

IDK, if she likes this or not, LOL! If not, this post may get really long!

En-Ricky! LOLOLOLOL….I can just hear it.

Classic Nutt: When asked after we were DESTROYED by USC, why our defense provided the same amount of resistance as melted butter, Nutt blamed it on them “scoring so fast, it just messes you up.”

We also have Nutt cliches. Has he pulled any of these out at Ole Miss yet?

I love that helmet. I’m a winner and a fighter. Don’t let go of the rope. I’m gonna build a fence.
Bouncin around. We played with a lotta heart (always after a loss).

He could never say a player’s name by itself, either without “a” in front of it (like he had 16 of them with the same name.) ” You gotta stick with the run when you have a Darren McFadden or a Felix Jones. We also have a Peyton Hillis. Players like a Jamal Anderson or a Keith Jackson Jr. are really helping our chances this year.”

“I called that play, Chuck.” is his most infamous quote ever. After being raked over the coals for his play-calling (and sitting Darren McFadden on the bench the whole game when we lost to Vandy (!) b/c DMac was a freshman and he wasn’t “ready”) we won the next game and Nutt crowed about calling the play that won the game. Later, in an interview with Casey Dick (our QB then) , it was discovered that he had audibled & changed the play. Nutt took credit at the time. When we lost to AL after getting the big lead, Nutt blamed Casey Dick instead of his own poor clock management and running 16,000 draw plays in a row.

*barf* yet the nat’l media called us crazy fans for wanting the douchebag gone.

          • deez

@Margie. Hogs are my team although I’m a fan of the SEC in general. (more of an SEC west fan) Not big on FL, TN, AUB or LSU. (although I root for them when they go out of Conf)

I will like OM much better when Hootie’s gone.

  • deez

Boise seems to be for real. I’m somewhat stunned. Still though, their schedule isn’t demanding. If they played in the SEC, they could finish as low as 4th or 5th. (not saying they would….but a good possibility for a loss is there almost every week.) Jus’ sayin. In 2002, they went 12-1, 8-0 in the WAC. Their only loss was a 41-14 drubbing from the Razorbacks, and the Hogs finished 9-5, 5-3 in the SEC that year! There’s a huge difference in competition, BCS voters (like they’re reading this). Boise can get up for one or two big games a year, but could they do it every week?? To play in the BCS NC game, they HAVE to go undefeated (which is quite possible), AND at least 2 of the Big Ten, SEC, and Big Twelve champs will have to have (at least)one loss. It will be interesting.

    • twistoflime

It seems to me that Boise State is kind of stuck. They are so good that they roll over everyone in the WAC, but that also means that it’s hard for them to get a power team from another conference to play them No big team want to schedule Boise State and lose. I’m not sure what else they can do to gain respect. Moving to the Mountain West may have helped, until Utah and BYU left, that is.

      • deez

Yeah, that was bad timing. I think they look like a really good team. Good enough to play in in the NC game? Probably….but they do have certain advantages that Alabama, Texas, or somebody else don’t have. It’s impossible to figure out. They can’t play somebody else’s schedule. I’m glad I won’t have to sort it out!!

        • twistoflime

Good points. It just makes me wish for a college football playoff of some sort. Then we would know where each team really stands.

    • On The Edge

And Ole Miss gets to open their season against Boise St. next year…*whimper*

  • et

Because I must spread my posts to every page here dammit… well not really… I just want to give a *little* whine that even though I love me some football I missed every.single.game.today so I actually have nothing to say. Haha.

    • margie

      aww et…it was a fun day for me..lol :)

      • et

My husband works weekends so it’s just me & the kids. I had planned on early start so we could get back and watch some football but was waiting for my mother who claimed to want to come along and then bailed. So late start foiled my plans. Nice day, though, just missed alllll the football. *Sniff* Guess there will be plenty more ;)

  • On The Edge

*sigh* So, Deez and Margie, where do I sign up for the “Houston Nutt can GDIAF” Club?

    • deez

What happened?? I just got home and mistakenly expected to find out from ESPN. All they said was the score which I’d already heard on the radio. The last score I saw they were up by 20 or so. This is typical Nutt. He can a pull a big game upset out of his ass with the best of them (where he gets most of his positive press from)…but falls flat in games like this. He was the master of clock (and player) mis-management at Ark. I’m with Margie, OM does not deserve this guy.

How did Masoli look? (I can’t believe I can’t find highlights)

      • On The Edge

Masoli was pretty decent, though he did toss an interception. Stanley was the starter and was really good. Problem was Nutt was totally schizo about using them…he constantly switched them out. That and the defense decided to take a fucking nap after halftime. Totally useless fuckwads.

Jacksonville State is actually a really good team, but they’re still FCS so they’re supposed to be a “cupcake” (so was Appalachian State a few years ago at Michigan, remember?). Anytime an FCS school beats an FBS it makes news. And considering the Masoli thing, the hatred for Nutt, etc., everyone’s having a great laugh at our expense and calling it “karma.” Hell, I think they’re right. I personally wish Nutt had said no to him and found a backup QB elsewhere, but once he was signed that was it (and he was yanked around by the NCAA).

        • margie

          BWHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!! I can’t stop laughing…sorry OTE.

        • deez

When Nutt was at Ark, there was definitely an environment of “whatever goes” with the FB team. Players had little discipline, and were frequently in trouble (drugs, drinking, guns, and other various crap). Nutt turned a blind eye. I know that everyone thinks Petrino is an ass, but he doesn’t put up with loosey-goosey bullshit. (I doubt Saban or Urban Meyer would either…both guys with that same perceived “humorless” personality) Longtime fans who attend AR practices say there is no comparison between the tight ship that is a Petrin0 practice, and the frat-boy party atmosphere that existed in practice under Nutt.

GAH….I could go on and on about this guy (and his family). I’m sure Margie could too. The sooner he’s outta there, the better for OM.

The QB thing you talked about was typical as well. At AR, he was known as “QB Killa”.

          • margie

There is so much I could say about Nutt. He will win games he shouldn’t and lose games he shouldn’t. He is an extremely emotional coach. Like Deez said he is well known as the “OB killa”. He has not developed a qb ever. Matt Jones was jus a freak of nature at QB and he was the 5th one Nutt tired that year in the same game!! I could go on and on and on. Nutt just sucks. I love Ole Miss. Hell I graduated from OM but as long as he is the coach I have a * for my number two team.

little known fact….Jack Crowe was the coach at Arkansas and fired losing to the Citadel. Nutt was on his staff then.

          • margie

Deez I am not even going to start on the discipline problems we had …that is whole different problem.

          • deez

Or the original “textgate”!!! AI textgate was NOTHING compared to Nutt textgate!

          • On The Edge

See? Krazy Kerry was on to something! Maybe Nutt texted all those votes to Krusty Alien?

A lot of the Ole Miss fans are hesitant to get on the “Fire Houston” bandwagon because of how the school fired David Cutcliffe, after just one losing season (this was after we lost Eli Manning to the draft). Maybe they’re afraid if we fire him we’ll get desperate and end up with another Coach Orgeron? Was Nutt big on the whole “second chances” bit at AR? Did he take in a lot of troubled transfers then, too?

Seriously, the fans are sobering up this morning and apologizing for “being so hasty” as to call for his head. No, Ole Miss, you do your best thinking when you’re drunk…I think you had it right the first time.

          • deez

Second chances….that’s hard to say…Margie? Ark didn’t really get a LOT of transfers, but I think if he liked you, or you served his purpose you got 680922 chances. Other guys did not. A lot of players LOVED Nutt because they got away with murder. Guys who didn’t “play his game” ended up on the outs. I’m not saying that players everywhere can’t end up in the coach’s doghouse, but these are guys who did nothing wrong (like Damian Williams who transferrred to USC and is now with the Titans). He NEVER took blame for a loss (he always blamed it on a player messing up, or an act of God or something lol) A lot of Nutt’s dealings with others…his staff, recruits, or players he coached, were just petty and childish. There was a LOT of what happened there that the National media either ignored, or just got downright wrong.

Maybe the guy learned his lesson (I mean you’d think so!). He also needs to keep his wife and her backbiting friends out of team business.

          • margie

            Lol ok here I go……

Nutt had Coach Broyles protecting him for the longest time. Then Broyles was kindof forced to retire..come on the guy is like 86/87 years old…so it was for the best. The problem with Nutt is NOTHING is ever his fault. He will throw any coach that is not part of the MSM (Murray State Mafia) crew and any player that is not one of his chosen under the bus. Nutt is about saving his own ass first. Even though you have an OC, do not be fooled, Nutt is calling the plays. It used to drive me nuts (no pun intended) with his play calling. He plays to not lose; not to play to win. Watching that game yesterday brought back so many memories. The same damn 4 plays over and over again. I new the calls he was making as soon as they lined up. It is so frustrating. He will whine, look like he is about to cry, etc but it is not his fault…EVER.

I really think he is an idiot. He had his best friend email Mustain hate mail, his wife threatening to beat his mom with a 2×4, etc… I am not a fan of Mustain either but that is just wrong. This was all found out to come through Danny Nutt’s computer after some Ark fan got fed up and did the whole FOIA on their asses. Then that is how we all found out about “textgate”. He was even texting Donna Bragg 30 mins before we played Wisconsin in the Capital 1 game. Guess what…we lost that game..lol

Nutt even said he was responsible for Mallett coming to Arkansas now. Ummm no Petrino was. It is because Nutt left is why Mallett came home. Nutt wanted to make him play TE. Mallett’s dad confirmed this and this why he went to Michigan.

All in all Nutt had 999999 chances and he screwed ever single one. The state was divided badly (remember it is all Hogs here) and the Admin finally had to pay him to leave.

I think if he liked you, or you served his purpose you got 680922 chances. Other guys did not. A lot of players LOVED Nutt because they got away with murder. Guys who didn’t “play his game” ended up on the outs

            This is exactly right.

          • deez

LOL!! Margie, did you ever make a donation to the “the Banner Fund” or see any of Devicehigh’s awesome Nutt spoofs? If you answered yes, I feel we both may be members of the same infamous Hog board ;) .

I went to the University of Illinois, so by definition, I don’t care about football. (Sorry, Red Grange, Dick Butkus and whoever Zupke was that they named the field after.) But I did go look up their score after seeing they were playing Mizzou today. The Illini were ahead 13-3 at halftime, up 13-10 after the third quarter and then they lost 23-13. So pathetic. I don’t know which half of the new Big-10-which-actually-has-12-teams they’re in or whether they got Michigan or OSU, and I don’t even know if the halfsies thing is just for football, but I am not surprised they lost to Mizzou.

I really only care about basketball and women’s volleyball, but they usually can’t get past MSU in the former or Penn State in the latter, so… I should probably switch to following men’s gymnastics and tennis, where they seem to do better. Or not. Probably better off not. I’m embarrassed by the whole Chief Illiniwek thing, anyway.

So far, looks like Florida’s suffering without Saint Tebow…whoops, okay, never mind, just as I typed that Gators returned an interception for a TD. Florida is up 7-3 against Miami OH (but they were down 3-0 the entire first quarter).

Anyone going to games today, or mainly sticking to TV? I’ll be watching Ole Miss-Jacksonville State on ESPN3 online, then LSU-UNC tonight.

    • deez

I’m watching that FL game as well….I, too, was excited for a little while. Gahhhh! Tonight’s gonna suck! Too many games I wanna watch on at the same time!! (Gonna be gone to a BBQ/ college football partay tonight. I hope the other post doesn’t explode, lol!)

I’d really like to see that Boise/VT game!

      • margie

Florida does not look good. They will win but wow…what a difference.

        • deez

No kidding, what’s with the fumblitis?? Like the announcers said, it’s not all Brantley.

  • margie

Woohoo Gameday Saturday!! You all have a great day!!

  • scoutfinch

To those who care: have fun watching college FB this weekend! It’s finally here!!!!

  • deez

Good news for Ole Miss fans…apparently, now the NCAA is saying that Masoli can play. (??)
WTF? Since when does the NCAA ever change its mind (I mean even when they’re dead wrong?)? Nutt must have some incriminating info on violations board members.

    • On The Edge

…when the NCAA takes a PR hit from members of the media. People from STATE and LSU were even defending us in this. I guess everyone’s united in their hatred of the NCAA, since any day it could be their team that gets screwed.

They do need to close the loophole if they’re so adamant about academics (yeah right).

    • jukejoint

I know someone who works for the NCAA and he’s an awesome human being, so… Sometimes I curse their names like everyone else, but sometimes I don’t, on account of this awesome human being.

  • tardspotter

Yes that is a fine photo indeed :) Featuring our Heisman Trophy winner, Mark Ingram #22. Roll Tide Roll!!

    • On The Edge

      I’m married so I shouldn’t care, but…who’s the hottie wearing #84? Rrrrrrrrowr!

      • JaneRochester

I noticed that too. Even though the frat sorts usually aren’t my type. Not to mention the 30-years-younger-than-me sorts.

      • tardspotter

#84 – Colin Peek (I had to look it up myself). But that was last year’s team so, sorry ladies :(

  • JaneRochester

I put in my Big 10 picks at the office pool today, and I am ready for some FOOTBALL!!!

(After looking for a job since January, you have no idea how good it feels to even have an office pool. :) )

I fear my Bears are going to suck this year. Fear it with good reason. But, my football boyfriend *cough*PaytonManning*cough* will save the season for me, as he always does.

  • deez

OK just checked in on Cowboys/ Dolphins. Halfway thru the first quarter and no starters in the game? I can’t make an assessment based on this. I know they don’t wanna risk injury, but judging from last week, Romo and the starting crew need all the extra snaps they can get.

I stupidly assumed that the # of the Cowboy’s OL penalties would drop after they dumped Flozell “False Start” Adams. I was wrong.

  • http://princessleia04.livejournal.com SarahBeth

So glad that football, in general, is back!!!

Watching the Patriots/Giants as we speak and contemplating what the eff to do about my fantasy team.

  • deez

I also needed a place this weekend to post the inevitable picture of Troy Polamalu’s hair. (it deserves its own post)

    • Daf

Yes it does, yes it does! I LOVE Troy ♥ He’s a classy dude all around.

In other college football news, tonight it’s Ball State U against Southeast Missouri State, GO BALL STATE!!! Whooooot whooooot!

      • Burgundy LaRue

Troy Polamalu is on my “I hate him because I’m jealous” list. It’s not fair for a man to have such luxurious hair while I sport cactus clumps masquerading as hair.

I heard Head & Shoulders insured Troy’s hair for a million bucks.

        • deez

          LOL

      • JaneRochester

His commercial last year…don’t remember what it was for, but the one where he accused the interviewer of coveting his hair…was hilarious.

  • margie

Now this is squee worthy!!!! :)

    • scoutfinch

Yes, it is! I looooove college football! (I typically squee for it more than Idol or ANYTHING else, I have to admit….)

  • On The Edge

    Nice choice of picture, Deez!

    • deez

LOL. I was originally looking for USC/Hawaii pics since they’re the BIG GAME tonight, but then I really just wanted to post a pic of Lane Kiffin in his sunglasses/USC hat with the caption”Douchebag” underneath. I figured this was the better choice!

    • JaneRochester

I agree, OnTheEdge. Any picture of Texas getting their asses kicked, is a great picture.

      GO SOONERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      • scoutfinch

Yessss!! What JaneRochester said. Boomer Sooner!!!

        • deez

Awwwww. Poor Whorns. (I love the different versions of the Texas fight song too. ;) )
