Ding Dong The Witch is Dead!

2010 July 30
by TopIdol

OH HAPPY DAY. TMZ is reporting Kara DioGuardi is FIRED.

I received this news as I lay in bed this morning, at the same time, Oskar and his cute little furry ginger head arrived looking for scratches behind the ears. All of this is like, the best stuff that can happen to a person in a bed alone.

If you’ve ever read this blog, you most definitely know about my ongoing hate affair with one Kara DioGuardi. Part of me wishes I was sad about this development, as I have so enjoyed ripping her to shreds over the last two years. But I am thrilled! Kara DioGuardi’s likability ranks down there with Sarah Palin.

Plus, its not difficult to find things to hate on when watching Idol. I hear Jennifer Lopez is a new judge! I’ve hated her for over a decade. Kara DeCuckoo or whatever your name is, you’re not needed anymore. Go write more shitty songs for people.

Spread the word. Do it.

Maybe it’s because I read this post or somthing but I’ve been humming “There are no boundrayzzzz” for over two hours now. Can’t seem to stop myself.
Kara was annoying and that thing with Bikini girl was so stupid. Plus she co-wrote No Boundries.

  • blah124

    Lmao best blog post.title.ever. :D

  • Dickory Dock

I go on vacation for a few weeks and come back to this news? It’s like being greeted by a choir of angels singing. No more desk banging! No more ‘the thing is’! No more skeevy cuddling up to Simon/New Dudely Judge. No more berating contestants only because Kara is a frustrated performer who couldn’t make it! No more desperation coming through my TV in visible cartoon-like stink waves!

I’m not sure about Jennifer Lopez, but she could fill the Loopy Dancer Who Can Sing With Assistance From Auto Tune role. She may need more pills though.

Steven Tyler is a potential goldmine of lulz, either intended or not. Did you ever see Behind The Music: Aerosmith? Steven Tyler can be a bitch and a diva.

I was stupidly hoping they’d get someone like Steve Lillywhite. He wanted the job and has worked with bands who make actual music, not the Telletubbies theme or Il (fucking) Divo or Susan Boyle. Lillywhite has worked with Peter Gabriel, Simple Minds, U2, The Rolling Stones, Chris Cornell etc. Not all my faves but at least, you know, current and relevant and actual real music.

This will be interesting, at any rate.

  • MissMyEm

A source close to Kara DioGuardi says Kara was shocked about being fired from Idol. The source also told Showbiz Spy that Kara “…understands the show is in need of a revamp, but Kara really thought she had a job for as long as she wanted it. She’s beside herself.”

    http://www.ainow.org/index.php/tidbits/3221-bits-a-pieces-august-1-2010

    Poor woman is besides herself.

Of course..other than bikini girl…I don’t know anyone who would want to be besides Kara.

    • Pandora

What a fcuking egomaniac… yes, the show has gone downhill since she’s been there, it needs a revamp, but OF COURSE SHE should get to be there forever.

  • wino

oh happy days! does this mean we go back to a three judge panel? (crossing fingers).

J-Lo should fit the the Paula/Kara void just fine. She gave pretty good advice during her mentoring stint…and actually seemed invested in the contestants. If there is one thing she knows well, is how to sell herelf. That bytch cant sing and can barely act, but she’s been able to make millions off her maketing strategy. Reminds me a bit of Madonna is in that sense.

Is Tyler in for sure? Im still hoping for Connick Jr.

  • maturin

I have never heard of this website, but their recap of the Idol judgpocalypse should be preserved for this immortal line

“Rumors have been floating for months, filled with celebrity names, singers and entertainers from years past that the producers of Idol would love to judge on the show. They have offered Elton John new freshly shaved Filipino boys every day of the week, and he keeps saying no. ”

    and of Kara:

“Her visible insecurity brought an air of excitement to the show, like handing a bag of firecrackers to Vince Coleman at a day care center. There was a new feel to the show with four judges, as if one would try to out-crazy the other three at any second. All four vying for attention, no one wanting to be the Fonz, everyone wanting to be the shark.

So goodbye Kara from your friends at Heavy. We’re sure you’ll land on your feet in no time. Why, I can almost hear the Katy Perry song that you will cowrite with her for next summer that will make me want to drive into oncoming traffic.”

  • Blue Eyes

I think Jennifer Lopez will make a good judge. She is alot like Paula, except she doesn’t have Paula’s goofiness.

Steven Tyler is like wtf? They really need someone who knows music and can spot talent – a music scout, producer, record executive. They need someone like Clive Davis.

I’m sure VFTW is very happy with Steven Tyler. He will provide them with lots of LOL moments, I’m sure.

    • OvenMitt

How does Steven Tyler not know music? He’s been in the music business for 40 years! Randy is a producer, so that fulfills that requirement. I never thought Simon had that great of taste in music, personally. He got lucky with Carrie Underwood, but other than that, he’s just as hit-or-miss as all the other judges when it comes to discovering a star. If anyone wants to dispute that, to them I rebut simply with “Teletubbies”.

      • saskin

Il divo? Susan Boyle? He has great taste in music (end sarcasm).

I wanted Harry Connick Jr. but now I am completely on board with Tyler train. With him on the panel maybe they’ll stop calling singers like Cook, Daughtry, Iraheta, Lambert, etc. rockers. There is nothing rock about them.

      • nerdgirl

Hey, don’t knock down Teletubbies. They work great if you need to occupy an 18 months old, while you are trying to take a shower and get ready for work! Otherwise, I agree, that Simon Cowel doesn’t have good taste in music, he is very old fashioned.

They should have gotten somebody young, though. Aren’t there some young music producers/song writers/musicians that are successful?

    • MissMyEm

Steven Tyler is like wtf? They really need someone who knows music and can spot talent – a music scout, producer, record executive. They need someone like Clive Davis.

I’m trying a new way of quoting per someone’s advice…so if it doesn’t work…I’ll feel like a dork but wth…I’ve been known to feel that way before.

Okay…Clive Davis??? Even RCA didn’t want him anymore because he didn’t know didley about squat. OTOH, I would think Steven Tyler knows just what it would take to be a rock star…of course without falling off a stage.

      • http://topidolblog.com TopIdol

Doesn’t Clive Davis have one foot in the grave? There are lots of producers they could get who know their shit, but I imagine the really good ones are all, uh, producing?

Steven Tyler is kind of a living legend. Of all the current [alleged] judges for Season 10, he probably knows more about music than Randy Jackson and Jennifer Lopez.

Maybe they should try and get Phil Spector? Oh yeah. He’s in prison, right? ;)

        • MissMyEm

Maybe they should try and get Phil Spector? Oh yeah.
          He’s in prison, right?

Heh. Made me laugh my ass off TI.

Yeah, he’s in prison for murder I think. I guess if you look at it that
way, he might work out. Someone needs to murder the show.

          • ross

I think stars may or may not make good judges. I would prefer a producer, someone whose job is to recognize talent in other people, and who isn’t all about the focus being on himself/herself all the time for an entire career. I may be wrong, though.

        • Blue Eyes

I didn’t say Clive Davis – I said someone LIKE Clive Davis.

Tommy Mottola would have been a great pick.

          • Pandora

Isn’t Tommy Mottola the one who foisted Mariah Carey on the world? He should be removed from all music-related business just for that IMO.

          • http://topidolblog.com TopIdol

            AGREED! AGREED!

I hate big-voiced divas. It’s why I can’t stand Mariah and I’ve never cared for Xtina. Great. You can wail and you will do this in every song. It’s not even about singing, it’s about who can wail the highest, or the longest, or the whatever. No wonder Whitney turned to crack. I bet she got tired of wailing. Who knows.

          • auntieaimee

Rick Rubin! Although Rick Rubin in high def might frighten little children.

        • factorydirect

Phil Spector with his shiny little bald head via satellite from San Quentin while Charles Manson sings in the background :) Ok I don’t think they are both in San Quentin but the mental picture made me laugh.

    • Peppermint Patty

I’m very sad that Tyler wasn’t on the show when Gokey did “Scream On.”

  • On The Edge

If I could post the vid of JambaJim dancing on “American Idol in 60 Seconds” when Gokey was booted…that’s how I feel right now.

    • deez

Honestly, that video needs to be posted about once a month in some random thread just for the hell of it.

  • Acrobat

If the new panel is really going to be Steven Tyler/J.Lo/Randy, I love it. You have a legitimate musician, a former pop star, and a producer on the panel. Perfect.

Randy will continue to be useless, but he’s probably needed for nostalgia reasons. Who knows? Maybe this will give him a kick in the ass and make thoughtful critiques. (Probably not, but still. I’ve seen him give good criticisms before! It happened once in 2005!)

As for J.Lo – I think she’s a great replacement for Paula. I’m no fan of hers, but I remember being really pleasantly surprised by her mentor stint a few seasons back. She gave good advice on stage presence (helping Lakisha with her dance moves), how to approach a song (“This ['Turn the Beat Around'] is a song you have to throw at people”), and even decent technical advice (telling someone to take up the key of a song). She even found something nice to say about Sanjaya, for chrissakes! Plus, she’s acted for so long I think she’ll be able to handle live TV and the time constraints far better than Kara ever could. (Shut up, Kara.)

And I think Steven Tyler was a stroke of genius, provided he stays sober. Heh. He’s a great vocalist, has sold umpteen million albums, is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and is an actual musician who knows how to write a hit song — i.e., he’s got credibility out the wazoo. He’s funny and soundbite-able in interviews, and because he’s way past his prime and doesn’t have to worry about selling records anymore, he won’t give a shit about being blunt or mean to the contestants. And I don’t think he’ll let talented musicians get cut in Hollywood in favor of “package artists.” (Shut up, Kara. Again.)

I love Ellen, but she needed to go. And I hated Kara, even though she consistently gave the best advice on the panel last season. Even when she was right, I wanted to punch her in the face. I still haven’t figured out exactly why she’s so off-putting.

    • Lauren

And I hated Kara, even though she consistently gave the best advice on the panel last season. Even when she was right, I wanted to punch her in the face. I still haven’t figured out exactly why she’s so off-putting.

I know what you mean. I think it was her voice. She always spoke in this annoying condescending sort of way. I hate people who act superior.

      • Acrobat

        “Look, sweetie…”

        *punch*

      • JaneRochester

Yep. *Very* condescending. Her advice was often very good, but I still wanted to slap her.

      • muzikizmi

Kara was trying very hard to be the ‘new Simon’. While Simon could get away with being cold and mindlessly brutal, Kara could not. Before season 9 started, Kara remarked in the press, that whoever filled Simon’s chair would be someone with similar experience of breaking new acts. It was pretty clear that she was talking about herself (Jason DeRulo and Iyaz). Ellen was brought in to be the new Paula, but that didn’t work either.

  • MissMyEm

TI, I’m very happy for you. I know that next to scratching a sweet furry face in the morning (of which I have several and start my AM the same way) this is quite one of the best things ever for you. I’ll raise my glass to you. Or as they say in my neck of the woods…Mazeltov TI. Mazeltov!

I have to say I’m in agreement. I think Kara’s OTT drooling and inane comments about being Rock Gods *enter eye roll here* annoyed me to no extent. Her little bit with the bikini girl competiton show also turned me off. Any legitimacy she MIGHT have had (might being the operative word) was over on that day alone.

I didn’t mind Ellen all that much. She was there for comic relief and that’s what it was. Three judges and one token comic. I could take her or leave her.

I never shed a tear when Simon announced his departure. Did not shed a tear when all the Idols came out to sing for him. I shed more tears that night because I wasn’t sitting close enough to see Castro and Kris up close. Did a happy dance when Nigel left. Can’t stand his denture ridden false smile and as for Paula…eh. I’ll miss all those tears where her eye make up runs down to her home made jewelry. That WAS fun to see.

How do I feel about JLo, Tyler and Jerkson? Well hopefully with Tyler as a judge only Steven Tyler will be able to sing I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing. Hopefully this will be an end to all contestants attempting to kill that song. They’ve all done admirably butchering it. And yes…I do love the song when Steven Tyler sings it. JLo…well I worked with her once and she made Jane Fonda look like Miss Congeniality. So as for JLo…meh.
And then there’s Randy. Another year of yo dawg for me for you and a gazillion mentions of when he was in Journey and how many times he produced songs for Mariah Carey.

    Someone please…send some No Dose.

  • tinawina

    Congrats TI!

    • tinawina

Uhh… that was supposed to go under deez’s post about the CNN article. SMH.

If only Steven Tyler had come aboard soon enough to judge Gokey’s “Dream On.” Wasted opportunity there!

    • Lauren

Now THAT would have been spectacular. I wouldn’t want to subject someone in his state to that sort of horror though. xD

    • MissMyEm

      OMG…Excellent point, JJ.

      • deez

That “A for effort” would’ve been rescinded in no uncertain terms.

    There is No Kara

    Seconds, hours, so many days
I know what you wanted, no longer must you wait!
Every moment with me lasted forever
And you felt angry every single day

My chance with Idol is now gone
Thought I was in good but I was wrong
Nigel gave me one cold look
That said go and walk away

With every step I walk out the door
Every breath it’s harder to breathe
You made it through the pain, weathered my hormonal rage
To get to this one day

Just when you thought I was going nowhere
Just when you almost gave up on your dreams
Nigel took you by the hand and show you that it’s true:
    There is no Kara!
    There is no Kara!

I fought to the end to keep my job
I knew it would as good as I could get
Don’t know where the future’s headed
    Maybe VH1 has something available?

I’ve jumped every goat boy and I’ve ruined every show
I’ve risked being a cougar but I always knew why
I always knew why! (i’m hard up)

But no longer do you have to hold on!

With every step you climb another mountain
Every breath it’s harder to breathe
You made it through the pain, weathered my hormonal rage
To get to this one day

Just when you thought I was going nowhere
Just when you almost gave up on your dreams
Nigel took you by the hand and show you that yes, he can!

You can cheer now, you can do cartwheels
There is a boundary between you and me
Nigel sent me away, but said you can stay and now you all say Callooh! Callay!

With every blog post you can cheer louder
Your greatest hurdle has been achieved

Praise Oskar! There is no Kara!
    There is no Kara!

Just when you thought I was going nowhere
Just when you almost gave up on your dreams
Nigel took you by the hand and show you that it’s true:
    There is no Kara!
    There is no Kara!
    There is no Kara!

    • Lauren

      LOLOLOLOL This is great! :D

    • the mighty rose

      LMAO that’s bloody brilliant!!!!!

  • JaneRochester

This is what happens when you mess with BGB.

  • Destry

Praise to Nigel and his infinite mercies! Love the pic uptop. I remember being like WTF? Don’t kick the crying girl out of her chair and THEN tell her she’s totally screwed…

JLo might be pretty good. Wasn’t she supposed to have been a surprisingly decent mentor on the show?

    Steven Tyler? Not so much.

  • songkat7

Yay!!! She’s gone! She and her frozen forehead (tm TI) and her lusty harassing of the contestants is gone!

    Let all the angels sing…

  • jukejoint

I want to hear Kara singing “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going” in the style of Normund Gentle. Cause, you know, the person who sings that song really IS going.

What is so delicious about this particular bit of news is the schadenfreude. She’s so pretentious and smug.

    ME:
Right now you are down and out and feeling really crappy

    KARA:
    I’ll say.

    ME:
And when I see how sad you are
    It sort of makes me…
    Happy!

    KARA:
    Happy?!

    ME:
    Sorry, Kara, human nature-
    Nothing I can do!
    It’s…
    Schadenfreude!
Making me feel glad that I’m not you.

D’ja ever clap when a waitress falls and drops a tray of glasses?

    KARA:
    Yeah…

    ME:
And ain’t it fun to watch figure skaters falling on their asses?

    KARA:
    Sure!

    ME:
And don’tcha feel all warm and cozy,
Watching people out in the rain!

    KARA:
    You bet!

    ME:
    That’s… Schadenfreude!

People taking pleasure in your pain!

    KARA:
What’s that, some kinda Nazi words from Studio 57?

    ME:
Well, it’s only one word, not words. And nothing to do with, er, Studio 57. But it is German. It means “happiness at the misfortune of others!”

    KARA:
“Happiness at the misfortune of others.” That *is* German! Are you sure it doesn’t have anything to do with Studio 57 or the early works of Aerosmith?

    ME:
Nothing to do with Studios 54 or 57 or Aerosmith. Except it’s fun seeing that guy get your job.

But more like watching a vegetarian being told she just ate chicken
Or watching a frat boy realize just what he put his dick in!
Being on the elevator when somebody shouts “Hold the door!”
“Fuck you lady, that’s what stairs are for!”
    Straight-A students getting Bs?
    Exes getting STDs!
    Lindsay Lohan caught with crack!
    Kiki DiCoco getting the ax!

    Schadenfreude!
    Schadenfreude!
    Schadenfreude!
    Schadenfreude!

    • Michelle

      A+ reference :D

And schadenfreude describes exactly my feelings about Kara and AI in general.

      • http://topidolblog.com TopIdol

Perhaps they had to fire her if the rumors about Steven Tyler are true? Bitch can’t distinguish 1990s Aerosmith from 1970s Aerosmith.

        • jukejoint

What are the rumors about Steven Tyler? I figure one or the other of J-Lo and STyler made Kara getting the boot a condition of signing on. Like, okay, I’ll be on your show, but not if I have to sit at a table and pretend to be on the same level as that classless nobody.

          • jukejoint

D’oh! I thought you meant rumors that he was pissed she screwed up his catalog or that he personally hated her or something. But you mean the rumors that he is joining the judging panel, which means there’s no room for her. But there would be if they were going to keep four judges. It doesn’t matter — if Nigel & Co. want to say Kara has to go to make room for Steven Tyler, I’ll take it. I’ll accept any excuse they want to give me as long as Kara is out the door.

  • Mary

YESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hate that dumb bitch and her stupid Studio 56 comments.

But what makes them think J Blow will be a good judge? She sucked as a mentor for S6. Maybe if they booze her up and give her drugs she will be good entertainment…oh wait thats what they have Steven Tyler for.

  • cc

Oh hello, good news! While this makes me happy, I’m laughing at the headlines: Ellen resigns… Kara is FIRED. In Kara’s voice, two words for you… LOL. :D

  • parsenip

Who’d have thought Randy would be the last one standing from the original 3 Stooges?

Plus, its not difficult to find things to hate on when watching Idol. I hear Jennifer Lopez is a new judge! I’ve hated her for over a decade.

Heh. I’m not sure what it would take to get me watching again after the Jason Castro fuckery, but J-Lo sure isn’t it.

    • Katie112

It was glaringly obvious that Randy would be the last one left on the sinking ship that is Idol.

      • mtlfan

maybe they needed someone on the panel to be the ‘memory’ of the show since the start

    • http://topidolblog.com TopIdol

Mediocrity can often save someone’s job. Randy flew under the radar, perhaps, and hell, they need at least someone from the heyday to be in attendance.

      • Pandora

And oddly enough, he seems to be one who actually has an ear for talent. No vocabulary and once he’s on a contestant’s side, they can do no wrong in his eyes, but at least he listens to them perform and doesn’t just pay attention to how they look.

        • Burgundy LaRue

During the opening auditions, Randy is pretty good at picking out talent. And he advocated for Elliott Yamin to go through during S5 when Elliott got saddled with the Brittenum twins for the group sing-along. It’s just when they get to the semis that Randy becomes the mushy-mouth company man. Though that comes in handy. If you want to know who the producers are pushing, listen to Randy. He’ll start depimping them right on cue.

        • auntieaimee

I agree, Pandora. He has his flaws, but I’ve always liked Randy. He knows music, and not just pop. I’m hoping he’ll up his game now that Simon’s gone.

        • On The Edge

I actually have to agree to a point. Did I ever tell y’all that Brooke was my second favorite Season Seven, next to Dave? She wouldn’t have gotten a label deal being fifth, but Randy worked with her, produced her record, etc. And I really like “High Hopes & Heartbreak.” So yeah…Randy, I got a soft spot for you, dawg.

That being said…he was slacking the last season. I think IF they keep him, he’ll be in Simon’s seat as the judge with seniority, plus they will insist he up his game.

      • saskin

If they keep Randy … They all screwed up. Firing 2 women and keeping the guy? I don’t know.

        • cc

And now that Simon is gone, how is he going to critique the contestants without saying, “I’m gonna agree with Simon…” phrase?

      • OvenMitt

It’s true about mediocrity. I mean, it can also get you the title of American Idol. Just ask Lee Dewyze.

  • maturin
  • deez

This is hilarious! Happy Birthday to Me! (one day early)

I read the title, and immediately thought “Kara’s gone!” before the pic even loaded (my computer is oh so slow this morning) or I read anything else!!!! LOL!

    • http://topidolblog.com TopIdol

Nah, the file size of that photo is HUGE. But I had to use it. I need to reduce and reload it.

  • tinawina

I liked Kara, but this thread is funny as hell. Y’all make me giggle. LOL

    • Katie112

      Hi Kara!

    • Katie112

I can’t wait to see what excuse you come up with to cover up your ass being fired from Idol.

    • Lauren

lolwut Katie? That’s not Kara. Promise :)

      • Katie112

But… but! She says she likes Kara! The only person who likes Kara is herself.

        • tinawina

LMAO!! I can’t help it, she gave decent critiques last year. No one else did. Even if she is an attention whore. :)

  • Blue Eyes

    Good Kara, I’ll miss you!…*NOT*

I gotta watch that movie again. Steve Carrell is brill. Incredibly stupid, but brill in his stupidity.

Now Kara will have more time to write crappy songs and make sure they are overproduced drek when they come out of the studio.

  • Burgundy LaRue

  • Dyneri1

Heh, or as Randy Jackson calls him “Handelman”… So that’s Handelman’s Messiah in Randy’s universe.

  • girl from mars

One of the best b-day presents I’ve gotten so far today!

  • saskin

HE HE HEH. I love this post.

I have another feeling that Kenny might be out too. It seems he is out of the loop.

It is definitely going to be 3 person panel. So who is the third? I think there might be some changes in the format too. We’ll see.

Woot woot! The Botox Witch is indeed dead, feet sticking out from under 19E’s house. Anybody would be better than her. Glad Ellen is going too. She added nothing to the show.

Kiki DioDummy is DUNZO! Oh, joy! Callooh! Callay! *goes into Snoopy happy dance*

  • blacklisted

Woo hoo! I have six words for Kara, “Don’t let the door hit your ass on the way out!”

    • DeeDee

      Amen sister.

  • Pandora

Ha ha ha! Now Kara and Ellen can both work on that record deal they promised to try to get for Angela Martin… since they both have record labels and all, you’d think it wouldn’t have taken all these months.

  • Lauren

    Woot! Kara is gone!!!!!!!!1!!!!1!!!1!!!!!!!!!!!11111111!!!!!!!!!!!!!111111111111111111

J-Lo and Stephen Tyler might not be thaaaat bad…Oh, who am I kidding? Idol is gonna suck…again.

    • saskin

      I thought you liked Idol?

      • Lauren

Nah, I liked the S8 contestants.

    • Katie112

Shouldn’t you like Steven Tyler, seeing though Madam’s singing style is the same. Or I’m completely off the mark.

      • Lauren

Heh. You know I really don’t think they are that similar. But sure, I like some Aerosmith’s old music, he just doesn’t really sound the same anymore. I don’t have anything against him, I just think he won’t be a good judge on Idol. :)

        • saskin

          Why not?

          • Lauren

I guess I just think of him as old and washed up. He doesn’t seem to be in a very good place right now with all the drugs. Then again, I was convinced Ellen was going to be a great judge, so what do I know?

          • http://topidolblog.com TopIdol

AND Idol is enough to make a person start using again. It’s torture.

          • saskin

Interesting. I don’t know his personality. I don’t know what kind of a place he is in. He is a good ‘musician’.

I think Lopez is going to be good though. She is very comfortable in front of the camera. She won’t have the problems Kara had. She knows music biz so she won’t have the credibility problem Ellen had.

Are you guys serious that the judges of American Idol are going to be Randy Jackson, Steven Tyler, and Jennifer Lopez?

Myself, I’d rather have a music producer, who has experience working with a variety of artists and evaluating them. Maybe a music critic with a good reputation. Canadian Idol (one of my favorite shows) had three music producers (one was also a musician), and a singer.

Now these three are all musicians, two of them are singers. But that doesn’t necessarily make them good judges of singing or performing, does it?

          • Pandora

I wouldn’t really call JLo a musician OR a singer. She’s a dancer with a barely-adequate voice. OTOH, that makes her a perfect judge in the post-Lee DeWyze world of Autotune Idol. Who cares if they can sing anyway?

          • muzikizmi

Ross, Randy fanices himself a music producer. He produced Paula’s last album (flopped) and also Natasha Bedingfield’s last album (flopped).

I do think the panel could benefit from, and maintain racial diversity with a black producer, so I nominate Will.I.Am. or Timbaland.

          • ross

I really wish they would not go for big names. I know they need them to bring up the ratings, but…It’s just me, I guess. I don’t remember any Idol show, American, Canadian, Australian, that had big names on the judges’ panel (until Ellen. Unless you consider Paula a big name.) I think it shouldn’t be about celebrity judges, it should be about the contestants.

Her career is over. She’ll never golf again.

Madam and Steven Tyler….please no. Say it ain’t so.

        • MissMyEm

Oops that was suppose to go to a post wayyyyyyyyyyyy above.
