When will this masterpiece be published?

I know all of you have been going crazy. We have been waiting so long for independent investigator Kerry Kolsch’s groundbreaking book of what REALLY happened during Season 8 of American Idol to be released for public consumption. We really need to know about the vast pro-Kris Allen conspiracy stretching from the streets of small-town Arkansas, to the executive offices of Chik-Fil-A and the boardrooms of AT&T.

J. Randy Taraborrelli is nothing compared to Kerry Kolsch!

You see, Kerry Kolsch thinks Kris Allen’s American Idol victory was fixed, like a male cat and the 1918 World Series. She believes her book will set the record straight and the title of American Idol will be bestowed upon its rightful owner, Adam Lambert. Yes. Someone out there continues to waste their time obsessing over something which happened nearly one year ago and had zero effect on the greater society or plate tectonics.

(Because Lambert is totally suffering from coming in second, right? That’s why he has a recording contract with RCA, just performed on Leno…? Was I the only one who thought neither Kris Allen nor Adam Lambert cared who won the whole damn thing?)

Sadly, Adam Lambert: Second to None is still just a dream. Perhaps they are fixing the cover art? I’m not sure why Tom Cruise is on a book about Adam Lambert, and personally, I’m a bit insulted you could feature Adam Lambert looking like one of the biggest idiots in all of famous people land.)

On May 20, 2009 Ryan Seacrest announced that Kris Allen, an ordinary guy who could sing a little, beat the phenomenal vocalist and performer Adam Lambert. How could this happen? It made sense when the Arkansas Gazette and then the New York Times broke the story; Kris had help from corporate sponsor AT&T. Then, as quickly as the story erupted, the story fizzled with denials from AT&T, FOX and American Idol. All three claimed that the vote was fair, accurate and independently verified by Telescope Inc. Not one news outlet challenged the denial, even while many doubted the fairness of this victory.

Unencumbered by any corporate interests, independent investigator Kerry Kolsch took on the mystery that no other journalist would. She set out to find the truth. What she unraveled was a murky tale of corporate hubris and homophobia, with the flavor of backwoods politics. Kris Allen did not beat Adam Lambert alone. It took the whole state of Arkansas and the unfair voting system created by AT&T to hijack the victory from Lambert.

This explosive book, based on thousands of hours of research, proves once and for all that Adam Lambert is the legitimate winner of American Idol Season 8. The research follows events in Arkansas and trails through cyberspace that can quantify demographics state-by-state, month-by-month and city-by-city, and identify who the winner really was. Not only dose irrefutable data show that Kris could not have won, it refute the reasons that were used to justify Kris’ win. It was not America’s homophobia. Kris did not get Danny’s votes. Kris won because AT&T showed Kris’ Arkansas supporters how to game the system.

A singing contest became an Arkansas state endeavor involving; the Chamber of Commerce, politicians, churches, radio, television, newspapers, businesses, universities, banks, dancing cows and Toad Suck Queens. With the intensity of a hotly contested sporting event, the whole state took on Adam Lambert. They were whipped into frenzy by a clever PR team. Many believed it was a religious crusade and they could single handedly stamp out homosexuality.

The madness of the pro-Kris, Arkansas, mob rational was that an American Idol win would give the state cultural literacy. Imagine? Read the facts and you decide if Kris Allen really won, or if Adam Lambert is Second to None.

(Glamberts hate Chik-Fil-A because its a Christian values chicken joint, but they never seem to think about the fact its one of the few big-time fast food chains who are pro cow? Chik-Fil-A wants to save the sparkle herd! Not slaughter them.)

Some Glambert (most likely a Kerry Kolsch sockpuppet promoting her book) claims to have read this grand masterpiece!

I just read Kerry Kolsch’s book Adam Lambert, Second to None and she has the demographics for this website and breaks it down in numerous ways. It is not true that all Adam’s fans are all older. His 18 to 34 fan base is very strong. Kerry compared Kris to Adam and Adam leads in all age demographics. 40% of Adam’s fans here are male. Kris has the same percentage of male fans. Adam leads Kris in every age and location, except for some cities in Arkansas. Adam’s dominance existed before the final and has never decreased at any time since then. You do not even have to know what happened in Arkansas to realize that there was no way Kris could have beat Adam without cheating.

So color me stupid, but is Adam Lambert vs. Kris Allen a question on the 2010 Census? Just where would you obtain such accurate information about the demographics of people who might have watched an inconsequential reality TV singing contest?

And what the hell do you have against TOAD SUCK QUEENS? Oh I see. Kerry Kolsch, you lost the crown of Toad Suck Queen and you’ve been bitter ever since. Channel this energy into finishing your EXPLOSIVE BOOK. And please send me a copy when you finish.

Spread the word. Do it.

I can’t believe this thread is still going. I kinda want hug it, it’s so awesomely crazy.

    • Lamberkitten

Me too. There is no popcorn carton large enough to do this thread justice.

      • erinnthered

        Trying again…

        • erinnthered

Okay, what am I doing wrong? What’s the code?

          • http://topidolblog.com TopIdol

Look up IMG html code. If I try putting it on here, it doesn’t show up…obviously :)

          • erinnthered

            testing…

            kitties!

          • erinnthered

            Yay!

    • blacklisted

Yup. I knew this chick was off but it was when she started posting that I realized her level of delusion.

    • Lauren

I am hugging it. *releases computer screen*

  • soapbox0916

I have been considering doing a blog about Alex Lambert and while I was out scoping the internet for stuff related to Alex, I came across this piece. Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh! How stupid are people?

From critdick.com when discussing Alex Lambert’s chances:

“That name “Lambert” is almost a shoe-in for second place. Adam Lambert definitely should have won, but we all know that he was ousted out with that whole AT&T scandal and Kris Allen was basically chosen by the producers to win. Why did they want Kris when Adam was a better singer? Because Adam is gay, racy, and would be coming out of the closet and Idol didn’t want him to represent their show. They wanted the clean cut, apple pie eating, All-American stereotypical Kris Allen. I hate to ask, but is American Idol just a beauty contest now? “

    • muzikizmi

Yeah sure. The Idol producers wanted Kris to win. That is why they gave his winner’s promo to Adam. Makes perfect sense somewhere. Maybe on Planet Fierce.

    • Lauren

Ummm sorry if AI was a beauty contest the order would have been Megan, Adam, Kris, Allison…..#100 Gokey

  • et

I am now distracted by that picture on the front of the book. I didn’t really look at that before. Now I am frightened. Who the hell is that?

  • Mugsy

Kerry, do you think Al Gore got more votes than George W. Bush in 2000? I need some good evidence.

I know Arkansas is homophobic. They like the Oak Ridge Boys and monster trucks.

Do you prefer Wal Mart or Target? I bet Kris Allen likes Wal Mart, being from Arkansas and all.

    • http://topidolblog.com TopIdol

I want to know how you could support Sarah Palin when she clearly thinks homosexuality is a sin?

Palin is connected people against the New World Order. Just makes me want to vote for her. Alaskan’s are pissed off at the Federal government because they have huge energy resources that the people want to tap but the US Government stands in their way. The NWO wants to control food, energy then money and once they have gained control the few in power will rule the world. The market crash is the result of the NWO taking over. I will vote Palin and hope she is truly against the NWO.

      • saskin

Heh. This kinda makes sense if you don’t think about it (or if you are really really high).

      • Lauren

Hahahaha! Kerry, I didn’t know it was possible for me to respect you less, but this…

    • deez

His wedding registry was at TARGET!!!!!!! OH NO!!!!!

      • deez

        ^^^in reply to Mugsy

    • Lauren

@Mugsy, Al Gore did get more popular votes but less electoral. It’s not a conspiracy its just the truth. Electoral is all that matters so Bush won.

  • KmKolsch

PS Top Idol There are scientific studies that prove the hormones in the food are causing all types of sexual effects. I am not making this shit up. Do some research.

    • margie

Maybe these hormones have infected your ability to think rationally..hmm

    • http://topidolblog.com TopIdol

I know that’s why girls grow breasts sooner, b/c of the hormones used in milk. It’s not completely off, but I wouldn’t speculate its why people are gay. And I’m a big believer in the Kinsey Scale, so please, don’t call me a homophobe.

      • margie

I agree on the breasts thing. I wished it had helped me out though :)

        • http://topidolblog.com TopIdol

Mine didn’t come in until I was 20. I was always a late bloomer.

          • Lauren

There’s still hope for me then! lol

    • saskin

PS Kerry not all hormones are related to sex. Those are growth hormones. Comprehension is not your strong suit, is it?

  • KmKolsch

PS If you want to know who killed Kennedy John Judge is your man, he will tell you that one.

    • deez

Good Flying Spaghetti Monster!!Are you an authority on every conspiracy theory there is? Do you know who landed Julius Caesar’s killing blow? Was it Brutus? I bet you can get the goods on Cassius…there’s probably some ancient Roman marketing research lying around. Don’t let Brutus have all the glory, he had sponsorship from William Shakespeare!

      • margie

Deez nice! I am a history buff. Julius Caesar is my favorite Shakespeare’s play.

        • deez

I wonder how she feels about the Gunpowder Plot? Guy Fawkes has his own day!! His OWN DAY for god’s sake, how is that fair ???????

I want her buddy Elaine McKillop to come over and play.

      • saskin

I wonder what is her take on water flouridation. Communist plot for sure, non?

        • erinnthered

Eh, it’s not on until we get an explanation for the Moon landing and Area 51.

Elaine McKillop? I need to start googling. Maybe I can be as smart as Kerry and Q3 put together!

          • erinnthered

I Googled Elaine. Oh boy. Vaccine BS, crazy conservative conspiracy theories, and terrible spelling abound!

    • Lauren

Kerry, who killed Kurt Cobain? Cuz, I think we all know it was that girlfriend! Also, did we actually land on the moon or is that a conspiracy too? Oh, and is Paul McCartney dead? My mom wants to know if the one she saw in concert was an impostor. You seen to be the expert on these types of things.

  • KmKolsch

@RheaTard Why would you think I would want to blame anyone for Adam’s loss? It is not a blame game it is a factual analysis. Adam had more fans at all times than Kris. The only place on the globe that favored Kris was Arkansas a state that brought in 38 million votes. What is wrong with these votes? The phones that AT&T gave away and lent out and Adam’s phone lines that were blocked were enough to skew the outcome. A corporate sponsor should not be favoring one contestant over another. When you examine Dialidol for instance, you will learn that they are calculating votes by the same method as a landline vote. Landline votes are restricted by system restraints, which means that they cause an artificially close outcome. That being said Adam won the actual vote count according to Dialidol. They gave Kris the victory only after their fuzzy math. They also claimed that Kris won states that it would have been imposable for him to win according to all other data. Texas is a state that has about 25, 000 people traffic to Adamoffical.com each month when Kris’ traffic from Texas to Krisallenoffical.com is only about 5,000 fans the last time I checked. What I have documented is how voting was conducted at the Watch Parties in Arkansas. Two young boys were able to cast about 250,000 votes by Mega Power Texting. Little Rock Fox 16 was there at the vote parties and filmed the voting so it is not something I am making up. Individual vote totals were also posted at Krisallenation.com. Bottom line is that anyone can figure out about how many tainted votes came from Arkansas. You take them from the total and Kris loses. If that is not enough for you then I tell you how they got those fools to vote for seven hours. If you think that giving out prizes for votes is OK maybe you will not object to what they did. The fans of all other contestants are not going to be happy. Kris had business sponsors that helped him win in a quid pro quo relationship. There is even more to the story than that but I am going to South Beach to party and do not have time to write anymore,

    • et

“Two young boys were able to cast about 250,000 votes by Mega Power Texting. ”

If you think that there were no power texters for Adam, you are delusional. People do that crap for everyone. Is “Mega Power Texting” an official technique, hence the caps?

      • margie

What freaking sponsors did he have? I freaking live here and heard nothing. Gawd woman you are batshit crazy.

        • margie

opps sorry a little mean..I am tipsy tonight but I hate idiots. :)

        • deez

What freaking sponsors did he have? I freaking live here and heard nothing. Gawd woman you are batshit crazy.

Of course you didn’t. It never happened, except in the revisionist history that exists only in Kerry’s mind.

      • http://topidolblog.com TopIdol

Mega Power Texting sounds like a Japanese video game. Or maybe not even a video game…

        • et

If there’s a Mega Power Texting game, that dude has to make that SAME face on the commercial for it. Definitely.

    • 8sourcandy

Have you considered the consequences if American Idol is found to have manipulated the outcome? Not just to Kris Allen, who doesn’t deserve this attack, but also Adam. Maybe Danny Gokey was suppose to be the runner up and the executives at Idol thought Adam would be a better second place finisher. Have you looked at this from ALL sides or just the ONE side that puts some cash your pocket? There is no benefit to anyone but you. It is a selfish and narcissistic act. You should be ashamed of yourself.

I hope they sue you. And they can. Celebrities always win these types of suits.

    • deez

Once again, POPULARITY ON THE INTERNET DOES NOT EQUAL VOTES. This is your central argument and it is faulty.

And even if it’s true that 2 little boys were able to text that many votes, who cares? Are you pissed that the Arkansas people were better at following the same voting instructions that were also found at Adam Official? People have been doing multiple text voting for awhile.

The people who organized that watch party did nothing against the law or the rules, if they had, I guarantee we would’ve heard about it from someone other than the most vitriolic Bitterbert on the internets.

When did you say that thing is being published?

      • http://topidolblog.com TopIdol

And remember what ET pointed out? #4 on the Power Voting for Adam Lambert Guide?

“4. Team Voting/Voting parties at home, condo, apartment, office: involve family, friends, relatives, officemates, schoolmates, children, everybody; pay small children to vote for Adam

        • deez

You mean actual cash money as opposed to chicken sandwiches?????

          • jonoave

            I’m confused. Three things:
            1. Even if Arkansas managed to get in 38 million votes, why should they be thrown out? US geography isn’t my strongest point, isn’t Arkansas part of USA, and this is… American Idol! (tm Ryan Seacrest) Are we going to start implementing a voting quota per state based on population, gender, income etc? Are we going to delineate regions to see how much weightage each vote should carry?

            2. Even if Arkansas send in 38 million votes, are all those votes for Kris? Not a single one for Adam? Didn’t DialIdol showed something like 30-40 for Adam? If we’re going to discount Arkansas votes, you’ll have to throw out those Adam votes too right?

            3. Considering that last year close to 70 million votes (I can’t recall exactly), and that this year was about 100 million votes, does it make sense for a single state to contribute close to 38 percent of the vote this year? What happened to the rest of the other 50 states? Did they all just quit voting? And even no one else except Arkansans voted, why is it wrong (refer to first statement above)?

Forget ironing out the kinks in the US presidential election, let’s get started on the Idol voting system!

          • http://topidolblog.com TopIdol

I was wondering about that, too. So the only votes Kris Allen received were from Arkansas residents?

      • erinnthered

Ha! 250,000 votes is child’s play when there’s around 90 million cast on finale night. Besides, they do go over high text and vote totals coming from single phone lines, and throw them out. Have done since season 2.

Once again, POPULARITY ON THE INTERNET DOES NOT EQUAL VOTES. This is your central argument and it is faulty.

deez, you make too much sense. She will never hear you. Logic is her Kryptonite.

    • carmine2008

There’s only one thing I can say about this: You’ll get your comeuppance. One way or another, Karma will come biting you in the ass.

    • muzikizmi

Kris has “business sponsors”? Great! That means they should be buying up CDs by the case, and passing them out to employees and clients, to boost his album sales. That should happen any minute now……5..4..3….

And huge “business sponsors” means a big arena, high cost tour right? With those tickets being bought up and passed out to employees and clients, right? Those tour dates should be announced any minute now….5..4..3…..

    • ftube2009

“Why would you think I would want to blame anyone for Adam’s loss? It is not a blame game it is a factual analysis.”

Ummm… maybe because you have made it clear you are an Adam Lambert fan who considers Kris Allen to be “an ordinary guy who could sing a little” Bias much?

  • Mugsy

I hope that Kerry Kolsch next investigates whether Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone or there was a conspiracy. The world is waiting for a definitive answer.

Did you know that at most Starbucks, a cup of coffee with three shots of expresso added is called a dead eye, but in Dallas, it’s called a Kennedy. I swear, it’s true.

    • erinnthered

Is there a specific Starbucks that renamed it a Kennedy, or is it all of them? I want to make my cousin go get a photo of the menu. :P

  • RheaTard

Read this insightful article on how you can tell the show plays favorites. Clearly Adam was the judges’ AND the show’s pet. Isn’t that enough for you? Given all this preferential treatment, he probably SHOULD HAVE won. They practically forced that down our throats every week with his over the top praise, calling him for the finale during Top 13???

But at the end of the day the show does not and will not go against the public vote. They can only sway them in favor of their pet as much as possible. If they could rig the votes then Taylor Hicks would not have won, Katharine McPhee would have, as Simon championed her and HATED Taylor with a passion. Melinda Doolittle would not have been eliminated in third place. And Jasmine Trias would not have outlasted LaToya London nor would Nikki McKibbin have outlasted Tamyra Gray.

If you want someone to blame why Adam lost, why don’t you blame the judges and the show? When you are as overbearing as they were last season and so blatantly obvious that they wanted Adam to win, the public rebelled and power voted for Kris just to show them that THEY decide who the winner is going to be, NOT the judges.

    http://content.usatoday.com/communities/idolchatter/post/2010/02/how-to-tell-when-american-idol-is-playing-favorites/1

“At the end of the day, however, “they’re going to give the people what they want,” Phil says. “That’s why Kris Allen ended up winning. That’s why Taylor Hicks ended upwinning. That’s why Chris Daughtry got eliminated.”

  • KmKolsch

@Deez It is one thing to predict a winner or to show an upset win but it is another thing to present irrefutable facts that at all time one person is more popular than another. Show me some facts that Kris was more popular that are not your dismal speculations or shut up. The Idol vote is a flawed system and that is what I am pointing out. The civil liberties issue is that the gay man did not lose because he is gay but because one state cheated. For anyone who thinks that Kris was not sponsored by businesses you are uninformed. If you do not know the fact stop looking like a fool with your ramblings.

    • Verbally Dyslexic

Oh Kerry… please stay and entertain us some more with your book. This is probably the only place where you won’t get banned. :)

While you wait for Deez to answer your question, which has no bearing on the main topic of this post, why don’t you answer hers?

When are you publishing this masterpiece?

      • http://topidolblog.com TopIdol

WHEN ARE YOU PUBLISHING THIS MASTERPIECE AND WHEN DO I GET MY COPY???

    • jonoave

Oh I love the “popularity” thing that you keep popping up. Online/media popularity does not directly translate to actual support. Like Deez mentioned, Syesha Mercado made it all the way to Top 3 minus super online fan presence, gifts, fanmail etc. And wasn’t Bo Bice more popular (fan/media wise) yet Carrie won and went on to sell many records? And till this day, Carrie’s online fans’ presence pale in comparison especially to many other male idols.

And on the other side of the spectrum, isn’t Perez Hilton’s sites getting tonnes of hits everyday? So does that means he’s widely supported (like when he had that run-in with BEP’s manager)? Or like Tiger Woods’ huge popularity recently – I guess from now on tens of thousands of people will go to watch his golf games? Oh, and isn’t Kate Gosselin going on Dancing With the Stars or something? So is she guaranteed the nice trophy cup in her bag now?

    • ftube2009

      “irrefutable facts”

I’m curious to see these irrefutable facts. Do you have the manuscript online somewhere since the book hasn’t been published (and likely won’t find a publisher since we’re already on to the next season of Idol)?

  • KmKolsch

@deez Your brain does not work right. If you want to justify Kris’s win by saying Kris’ fans do not go on the internet then you must agree that they did not go to the Idol tour or buy albums. Don’t change the subject, show me some data that proves he is more popular than Adam or shut your big mouth.

    • saskin

Kerry, let’s assume you are right and Adam is more popular than Kris. It is like saying Paris Hilton is a better actor than Nicole Ritchie. Who cares?

      • Verbally Dyslexic

        Exactly. Exaaaactly.

What does popularity have to do with the inclination to vote?

Did you conduct research to prove the direct correlation between number of fans and the number of times they voted? Do you have the average number of votes an Adam fan posted, state by state, city by city, compared to Kris fans?

What am I saying? You’re an intrepid investigating lawler, who spends thousands and thousands of hours digging up valuable data that you barely have time to spellcheck. Of course you did!

    • Skipper

if Kris didn’t win fair & square, how the hell did Kris’s version of everyone’s favorite tune No Boundries chart higher than Adam’s did? Was Itunes in on it too KK?

If Adam was the true winner, wouldn’t his version of NoBo have charted higher? It’s kind of the same logic missy.

      • http://topidolblog.com TopIdol

        Vintage Kolsch:

Kris did not win in any fair-minded way. His home state of Arkansas sent in 38 million votes. Arkansas has less then 3 million population. It was electronically generated votes. Some people “voted” 45,000 times. Only Arkansas voted to make Kris the AI, not the rest of the country. This is not an “upset” this is a little state stealing the title from the man who deserves it. I will not watch American Idol again because this voting process is flawed. They could have rejected these electronic votes. Adam won the hearts and minds of this country and he is my American Idol. Kris can go back to Arkansas with his “church” people who seem to think that it is all right to steal!I believe it will backfire on Kris. My 89 year old grandmother who voted for four hours for Adam intends to picket The Fort Lauderdale Idol show with a shirt that says, Adam is my Idol, Kris stole the vote. Adam is our new Elvis, messing with him the way Kris did may make him the most hated man in America.

        • Lauren

“Adam is our new Elvis, messing with him the way Kris did may make him the most hated man in America.”
Oh my. It’s so funny how only the crazies hate Kris. What do you say to that Kerry?

          • http://topidolblog.com TopIdol

Hmmmm…so Kerry, do you believe being gay is genetic? Or do you believe its environmental?

            Kerry Kolsch // Apr 8, 2009 at 12:23 am
With all the hormones in the food we are probably all a little gay. So what if he kisses guys? He does not belong to the public, we only get to hear him sing. My mom thinks that he is the greatest thing since Elvis.

I occasionally listen to Coast to Coast AM, although the conservative libertarian rhetoric can often be a bit too much, and then I would wake up in the morning to that twatface, crap, what’s her name? Fox radio/tv personality just one step below Ann Coulter in terms of insanity. But yeah. I’ve not heard any shows where they discuss hormones in food causing increased homosexuality. Hmmm…will have to check the archives. This sounds like something on par with 2012 end times theory and vaccines causing autism.

        • et

“My 89 year old grandmother who voted for four hours for Adam intends to picket The Fort Lauderdale Idol show with a shirt that says, Adam is my Idol, Kris stole the vote.”

Bwah, where are the pictures of THAT?

“It is one thing to predict a winner or to show an upset win but it is another thing to present irrefutable facts that at all time one person is more popular than another.”

I’d like to see YOUR irrefutable facts – other than those based on how many people go to look at websites. Of course if you’d publish your pretty grammar- and spelling- challenged book, then we could see your facts. And hate that evil Kris Allen, I’m sure. Who clearly proves himself again and again to be a VERY BAD MAN.

    • wino

reality check, popularity doesnt automatically translate to votes. you must vote….and vote often.

idol picks up a lot of casual viewers during top 3 and finale night. considering the watercooler moment of that time was kris’ heartless, its no brainer that he sealed the deal w. that one performance. factor in a portion of gokey, matt and anoop fans, you got yourself a margin over adam. doesnt matter if adam was the top vote getter for all those weeks leading up to the finale…what matters is who got the most votes that final tuesday.you honestly buy that fake 38 million vote story?

if i recall correctly, didnt adam’s unofficial fan site give instructions on how to power vote?? just because two kids from an att store attended a party and gave advice, that doesnt mean it affected the final 80-90 million vote tally. get a fking grip.

      • http://topidolblog.com TopIdol

These instructions were fairly detailed, no? As was this addendum?

        • et

Haha, those are awesome instructions. This is my favorite:

“4. Team Voting/Voting parties at home, condo, apartment, office: involve family, friends, relatives, officemates, schoolmates, children, everybody; pay small children to vote for Adam”

Pay small children to vote? Really? I wouldn’t have thought of that one!

    • deez

Oh Kerry, how you entertain me. Being a lawler, you should know that it’s up to you to prove guilt, not me to prove innocence. ONCE AGAIN, internet popularity has squat to with voting. . You can quote all the mumbo-jumbo you want….one thing has nothing to do with the other. Here are my stats…Kris Allen was declared the winner by the people who counted the vote, that’s the only stat that matters. Now, if you can get your fingers on those babies, it might prove something. Like TI analogized in an earlier post, if Paris is everyone’s favorite European city, how do you explain that London had more visitors? Are the figures null and void because Paris was found to be popular thru marketing research? No, the fact that more people visited London would not change. Now you could make the assertion that they were persuaded to visit London to teach those French-types a lesson, or because their mothers smelled of elderberries, or whatever…but that doesn’t change the fact that more people visited London.

Why so defensive and angry? When will your book be published?

      • watermyplant

Isn’t is zabasearch that claims they predict the vote totals based on internet popularity. And don’t they change most of the predictions after the results shows to match what the vote showed, not what they predicted so they look better?

And why didn’t Kelly Pickler win her season? After all the cell phone companies were handing out phones at viewing parties for her in a big way back then. I don’t think they really care who wins. I assume they do it in any area they think they can gain market share from helping the locals vote.

        • http://topidolblog.com TopIdol

The people voting for Kellie Pickler were most likely too stupid to figure out how to use cell phones. Hell, it was only 2006.

  • erinnthered

That’s a lot of contradictions right there. My head is spinning.

First, AI can’t change the result willy nilly. They do have to have a reason that will hold up. They just aren’t bound by game show regulations. That’s all.

Second, I love that no matter how many people try to tell you this you just don’t listen…

Not everyone who votes for American Idol visits fan sites, or even has internet access, and not everyone who visits a fan site or views a youtube video votes for American Idol. Site statistics are useless.

Just look at Syesha Mercado. Was it a grand conspiracy to get her to third place? How about Jasmine Trias? Did she lose because Hawaii is smaller than Arkansas? And what about all those Adam fans in Arkansas? Don’t you think they might have picked up on this? If this is so explosive. Why is there no interest from The Advocate? Or is it not homophobia any more? I couldn’t tell from all your contradictions.

    • deez

Lol….Stats mean nada. How many times has a football team with 600 yds of offense lost to a team with 200 yds…it happens all the time. If a baseball team, say, oh…the Chicago Cubs have 12 hits, but don’t score a run…and the ST LOUIS CARDINALS have 1 hit which happens to be a Albert Pujols HR :) , who wins? Stats are indeed, useless.

There’s no way random stats can prove that someone should’ve won…unless there is something that recorded the fan affiliation of every vote that came that night…oh wait….

  • KmKolsch

American Idol is not a game show it is a reality show. They can do what they want because their rules are discretionary. What they don’t want to do is alienate the fans. But don’t confuse the interest of American Idol and the interest of the sponsors. American Idol would be foolish if they had not wanted Adam to win. Adam’s demographics are not only strong in this country, he has more fans internationally then Kris has here. It would have given the show credibility to find a winner who will be an international star. AT&T is a separate entity that makes money from Idol voting. There is a conflict of interest between a fair vote and profits from texting plans and Go Phones. I do not believe that AT&T set out to swing the vote or that they conspired with anyone. The main character involved no longer works for AT&T. That being said I will not use the fuzzy math like the global warming crowed. Any statistics and all marketing data such as fan site traffic in every state that I use can be verified by anyone. Even Rickey had Season 8 data that shows the overwhelming popularity of Lambert, as does the Idol site itself. Adam drove more traffic to AmericanIdol.com than any other contestant, not by a little but by a mile. If you combined all others they did not come close to him. Do you actually think I could manipulate their figures? There is enough information out in cyberspace to track just about everything including an American Idol contest. As a side note I for one believe that Clay should have won as well but the data back then was nothing like what we have at our disposal now. There are two parts to my story. First I tracked the data. When that proved overwhelming to suggest a landslide win for Adam and that Arkansas was the only location that had any real interest in Kris I tracked down everything they did. Well not everything probably but enough to make it clear to any fair minded person that what they did created an unfair advantage to every other contestant during the top 13 of Season 8. If my facts are wrong any anyone can prove it to me I will acknowledge my mistakes. But don’t sit around and criticize my spelling or grammar because that only proves that you can’t add anything to the argument so rather than debate facts you intend to be a bitch. Just for the fun of it Deez show me some marketing data that proves Kris was more popular than Adam on May 20, 2009. You have a big mouth but no facts.

    • et

Maybe I’m missing something since I couldn’t get through that long post but… are you saying that because Adam has more people going to a website… that proves that he should have won? Because that is some seriously flimsy proof. I also have to wonder – don’t you have anything better to do? Seriously. If you’re a “journalist” and you have time to investigate this for “thousands of hours” surely there are more important mysteries to crack?

    • deez

What does the fact that Adam was “more popular” have to do with voting? If 10 people like Adam and 1 likes Kris, and that Kris fan is the only one who votes, who wins? What does fansite traffic have to do with anything? If the same person goes to AO 100, 000 times, does it register the same as 100,000 fans going there once? Southerners are more apt to vote. It’s not against the rules to text thousands of votes at once, or use Dial Idol…in fact, those overwhelming numbers of Adam fans did the same. There was NO cheating. Kris had NO corporate sponsors. Officials in Ark did not get out torches and threaten the populace.

I don’t have any frakkin’ marketing research because I have a life, and do not need to manufacture ridiculous internet conspiracies in order to have myself named “Queen Tard”.

But please, do feel free to provide us links to your data (forty pages of footnotes????? How did you ever find any time to devote to cheffing and/or internet get-rich-quick schemes?)

      • deez

When is the publish date again?

      • wino

deez, its common sense. honestly, if kerry doesnt get your explanation, nothing will change her mind. and how ’bout the MOST important question of all: WHO GIVES A FK? seriously, its like telling me the Bachelor is prompted by producers to pick skank A over skank B. ohhhhhh, so shocking. not.

    • http://topidolblog.com TopIdol

It doesn’t matter who had the most fans. Don’t you get it? It matters who and how many times people voted. So I am having difficulty finding any validity in your argument. I never once voted for Kris Allen. My siblings and their kids liked Kris Allen. They did not vote for American Idol. Not everyone who watches the stupid show votes. Get it? There were likely many Adam and Kris fans, hell, even Gokey fans, who never once voted because they are not that invested in something so ridiculous in the grand scheme of things.

It’s as if you are saying Paris is everyone’s favorite European city and you have all this “data” proving it. Data from online polls and other sources. Paris is the best city in Europe. And then I say, well then why was London the most visited city in all of Europe last year? And you keep telling me I am wrong even though I am going by numbers which can be verified by airlines/immigration/homeland security/MI5. And you keep telling me I’m wrong and the numbers are lying because Paris is everyone’s favorite European city so this cannot be possible that more people visited London last year.

I think Idol is a load of horseshit. I did not care who won. I’m sorry the most-devoted Glamberts didn’t vote hard enough. I’m sorry he was not from a small town which organized weekly grass roots efforts to power vote for him every week. That’s really the crux of it all. Get over it.

And one more thing…Adam Lambert is not an international star. Neither is Kris Allen. Even with the show’s popularity in the Philippines and other parts of Southeast Asia, most of the world does not watch American Idol. They do not give a shit about American Idol. And I hate to break it to you, most of the United States does not give a rat’s ass about a reality television singing competition. They may have fans in places here and there, but international star is a substantial achievement.

    • Lauren

Guys, she has data from Rickey’s. You can’t argue with that! *rolls eyes*
Kerry, even if you can prove Adam had more fans at the time of the finale, you certainly can’t prove who voted for who. I am a huuuge Adam fan and I voted for Adam only 1 time at the finale. I didn’t feel like wasting my life on a telephone and I also was sure Adam was going to win. When people get too comfortable, they will get lazy and not bother to vote. It’s as simple as that.

      • Mithra

Rickey’s blogs about Adam had the traffic because people liked to fight in the comments section. Sparkle cows would moo, HATERZ would try to play tip the cow, and it went back and fourth, around and around. Spectators visted munching popcorn. This does not mean that Adam has more fans, since at least half the people posting it those threads were doing it to piss off the mad cows. When arguments happen in a thread of a blog, of course the traffic goes up. It does not mean that Adam Lambert is popular as an artist on Rickey’s site. It means Adam is popular as a topic.

        • muzikizmi

It’s the same thing at Vote For The Worst. Adam’s thread is hundreds of pages, and most of it is not exactly genuflecting to a rawk gawd.

    • RheaTard

How about just the fact that there’s about to be a new Idol in a few months and you’re seriously still hung up on something that happened last year?

SHUT THE FUCK UP, GET A FUCKING LIFE AND GO AWAY.

      • http://topidolblog.com TopIdol

No. We want her to STAY!!!

I’m giving her a forum to discuss her work. She can’t do this elsewhere.

        • Lauren

TI, I know you want traffic, but do you really have to set your standards that low? lol jk.

          • http://topidolblog.com TopIdol

Don’t tell me you are not having fun. Because you know you are.

          • Lauren

I won’t be having fun if you deny me Kradam! D:
But yes, I guess this is kinda amusing.

          • deez

I’m having a blast! Lauren you know that avatar pisses Kerry off. Kris is sending him subliminal messages through those puppy dog eyes…”vote for me,bb…you know you want to” *gasp* ADAM WAS IN ON IT TOO!

OH yeah TI, if we are still doing the “OSKARS” tomorrow, is there a “most delusional frau” category….I think we got a winner. (hmmmm, I dunno …you got Holly Sockpuppets, she’s definitely a contender)

          • Lauren

Haha I am sure it does. I think that is why TI does not mind it. xD
OMG ADAM WAS IN ON THE CONSPIRACY TOO! LET’S CRUCIFY HIM! Oh wait…

  • muzikizmi

How did the author manage to miss American Airlines involvement in the wrong done to the god of glam rock?

    http://www.vaildaily.com/article/20100306/NEWS/100309639/1078&ParentProfile=1062

    • muzikizmi

Ok, the American Airlines thing had nothing to do with Adam. I just wanted to share some happy Kris news admidst the BSC conspiracy crap.

  • deez

So Kerry, since you are here today, might you answer the question posed in the title of this post?

    • deez

      No?

  • deez

What the marketing research shows, both now and at the time of the final is that Adam had at least four to five times more fans than Kris.

Geeze, I hope it’s not the same folks responsible for this:http://redbearbluebear.files.wordpress.com/2009/04/e868a_dewey_defeats_truman1.jpg

    • deez

      (Let’s try that again)

    • http://topidolblog.com TopIdol

I don’t think amount of fans matters. Its how many votes were made. I never vote for anyone on Idol. The last time I did, it was Normund Gentle. Before that, it was during Season 4 for Nadia Turner the week she was booted off.

  • girl from mars

Just putting this out there, but can’t the producers just scrap the vote and go with whomever they want? This isn’t a presidential election, it’s a TV show.

Another thing I have to ask is, “and then what?” This person proves (mostly to herself) that Adam should have won… so? What will happen? The general public will not give a crap. The producers and record execs have their money, they don’t care. People are going to continue liking what they like. If only people would put this sort of manic energy into something that would actually benefit the world.

    • Idoltard10

Actually they can’t. There were scandals about rigging game shows in the 1950′s, and laws were put in place to prevent public fraud. I seriously doubt 19,AI,Fox,etc…entertainment CONGLOMERATES, would risk their own reputations, as well as legal repercussions, to make Kris Allen the American Idol over Adam Lambert. Do I think Adam should have won? You betcha, hands down. Do I think anything illegal went down? Nope. They wouldn’t risk it. Besides, the almighty saint of reality competition shows, Mr. Simon Cowell himself, CLEARLY wanted a Lambert victory. If they would be so bold as to fake the win, it would have been in Adam’s favor, not Kris’s. Yes, I think Adam was robbed. But he was robbed by AMERICA’S VOTES, not Kris Allen, Chik-fil-A, or anyone else that had a professional investment in this. Furthermore, Adam and Kris are friends, and always will be. Adam doesn’t want this shit going on. He has stated on numerous occasions to let it go, he’s doing fine. Wonder if her book succeeds if they’ll force Kris to give Adam the little silver microphone?

      • erinnthered

No, they don’t classify shows like AI as game shows for precisely this reason. The fine print posted at the end of every episode says they reserve the right to change the outcome of the vote if they feel there was manipulation. There are actually a couple of times where it’s reasonably believed that they’ve done it too.

Look, they didn’t give the percentage or number of votes separating Kris and Adam. The only logical reason is that Kris won by a larger than expected margin. They would’ve loved it to be close. That’s good TV. No amount of vote tampering would go unnoticed if the split was large, and there is no way they didn’t want or expect Adam to win. Again, good TV.

Adam lost fair and square. Period.

        • Idoltard10

Oh, I agree Adam lost fair and square. However, I DID look up the laws about vote tampering when I was a Claymate, and a secure resident in crazy-tardville… And there ARE laws against tampering with stuff like this. You are right that it is not in the same category as game shows..HOWEVER, unless they can reasonably prove that a computer program designed to block vote a contestant into safety was used….they cannot throw the votes out. So, she’d have to find that they threw out legit votes for Adam in order to raise reasonable suspicion that they cheated. But my reason for thinking they didn’t is simply that its obvious that they didn’t want Kris in that finale at all, much less as the winner. In fact, Gokey wouldn’t have beat Adam, no way he had a chance. We’ll never know that, of course, but that’s my belief. In fact, I think the BSC Gokey hating Glamberts could be the reason Adam lost, because they voted, on top 3 night, to move Kris into second place, THEN started voting for Adam. Never stopped to think that Kris might have a better chance at the crown than Gokey would. There’s some more food for thought as to why Adam is the runner up and not the winner.

          • erinnthered

There are people who still believe that BS crap from the Clay days?

I hate to break it to you, Idoltard10, but it doesn’t work that way. There were no laws for them to break. Oh sure, there are FCC regulations, but that’s a whole other ball of wax, and one that only barely applies.

Let me be clear, as long as 19E can come up with a reason – any reason – they can throw out any votes they want, or declare whomever they want the winner. Any reason at all. That’s it. It’s totally legal. It’s that easy.

The real reason they don’t is the whole premise of the show, and how it works. America always gets it right because the show is about who America chooses. Like I said, there are only 2 times that some reasonably believe they threw out votes, and both were because of voter manipulation. Neither involve Clay Aiken.

This thread needs more Kris covering hair bands of the 80s. Loving all the BSC, but I want Poison next.

      • http://topidolblog.com TopIdol

This always makes me laugh because there were clear instructions posted on many Lambert fansites instructing people how to power vote.

        • Idoltard10

If it isn’t illegal, it certainly should be, it’s fraud. Now, that being said, I still don’t believe they cheated, why risk someone finding that out? At the very least they’d ruin many reputations and discredit their cash cow show.

        • Mithra

Not only the fansites, but the scaries. Many of Adam’s fans are older women who never voted before, or at least so PASSIONATELY. I saw many a thread taking them step by step on how to do things like DialIdol. I saw threads about getting multiple cheap phones, and a bunch of them of course posted and bragged they did.

      • RheaTard

Adam was NOT robbed. The only people who believe that he was robbed are the ones who are sore losers because the people who organized VOTING WATCH PARTIES FOR ADAM ON IDOLFORUMS.ORG with instructions on how to power vote were BEATEN AT THEIR OWN GAME. So suck it and move the fuck on! Geez!

        • RheaTard

          Sorry, I meant IDOLFORUMS.COM. ;)

    • deez

Well if the producers got who they wanted and the vote was scrapped, I have a feeling we’d be seeing a whole lot of Gokey.

      • Idoltard10

Yup. A Lambert/Gokey finale was shoved down our throats how many times? Too many to count. Lambert/Gokey with Lambert winning. It didn’t go down like that. That’s clearly what they wanted. I will ALWAYS be a die hard Lambert fan. He could make a date with the devil himself and I’d still love him. But he didn’t win American Idol. Let it go, Kerry and company. Seriously.

        • muzikizmi

I think I love you. Winning Idol really meant everything in the first few years. Now, it means a record deal and not much else. It doesn’t mean that 19 is going to pimp you to the heavens, or even remember your name. Winning Idol doesn’t mean as much as it used to, and the Idol machine can look into the mirror to see the reasons why. They didn’t want Taylor Hicks to win, but the petty lengths they undertook to undermine him, was the beginning of the downward slide in the ability of the show to create stars, IMO. And….no. I am not a Taylor Hicks fan.

          • Idoltard10

Hehe, thanks, glad you agree with me. I wanted Adam to win, and, even though Kris was my second pick, I CRIED when he didn’t. I got angry when questions were raised about the voting, and entertained the idea of cheating for 30 seconds, then remembered that it is a FELONY TO RIG SHOWS that involve voting, prizes, etc, especially prizes of this caliber. No huge entertainment conglomerate would EVER risk that. And, btw, look at Adam’s press, etc vs Kris’s. They have clearly thrown Kris under the bus, and any publicity he gets relating to Idol is simply an effort to maintain the validity of a win that so many do not believe is legitimate. In other words, to preserve the credibility of the show. He is constantly asked about Adam in interviews, but do they ask Adam about Kris? Not a chance in hell… You just wait till the S9 Idol is crowned. Unless Kris makes a huge mark before that date in May, we will likely very rarely, or maybe even NEVER hear his name again. They are trying to bury him, just like they did Taylor. Kris Allen was cannon fodder, not someone they ever even thought had a chance at the crown.

          • http://topidolblog.com TopIdol

I disagree. He’s the first contestant to do Ford commercials outside of the lame ones they do on the results show. I don’t remember Taylor Hicks doing anything like that.

          • deez

LOl…I have to agree. There’s NO WAY in hell they stuck their neck out for Kris. That in itself, should be enough to let a person (with sense) know that KMK’s book is so much tripe.

Marketing Schmarketing…you can find data to back up pretty much anything, if you look hard enough. Data can been found that backs up global warming by one group, and data that refutes it can be found by another.

“Virginia” (lol) claimed that hamburger tax money was given to Kris (Kradison Stoli Vanilla thread), but what actually happened was that money from that tax was allocated to the City of Conway for tourism, promotion, etc… the Chamber of Commerce used some of those funds for his parade. (how the hell is THAT illegal?…oh wait…it would be when it’s phrased “giving it to Kris”) People see what they want to see.

          • margie

Idoltardo…I agree and disagree with your comment. Yes Adam is more in the news as a celebrity than his music and for being an idiot. Plus it took him 3 songs to get radio play. Kris is still on song ONE!! He will also be the first one to go platinum from season 8. It depends on what you like the celebrity aspect or the actual artist aspect.

            Sorry went into tard mode…lol

          • muzikizmi

I think we are all in agreement that winning Idol isn’t what it’s cracked up to be. So, the question then becomes, why can’t the Glamberts let it go? What is it about them, that makes them treat a second place finish on Idol as if it means losing the right to consume oxygen?

Glambert got the winnner’s promo package, regardless of his finishing order. Kris didn’t even get to keep the cheap-ass trophy, which was obviously only a photo prop. He had to share his Ford Days appearance with Adam. He had to share his GMA appearance with Adam and David Cook. Glambert got a big boost from Oprah. I am betting Go-key is next. What more do they want?

It’s just a freaking reality TV show.

          • Idoltard10

LOL margie, then allow me to enter tardland too. Adam isn’t an idiot, he is cementing his stage persona, the GLAM ROCK GOD. Edgy, running around partying, crazy fashion, etc. That’s what he wants to be known as. So even if they don’t play his risque songs(FYE,Fever, etc will NOT get radio play b/c despite the lack of profanity, the lyrics are still of the NC 17 variety) he’ll still be in the press, and there are folks that will google him, or ask about him, or read about him out of sheer curiosity, and voila! a new fan. It’s all quite calculated, I believe. He is truly a Glam Rock God, IMHO. And believe you me, if Krissifer gets close to platinum, there are plenty of Glamberts that have absolutely no problem giving our bank cards another work out to trump him. Another 15 copies of FYE? No problem.

          • rehabilitard

Idoltard10, so YOU are one of the fraus who keep buying multiple copies of Lambert CD? Wow, that is the last and terminal stage of tardism. There is nothing that would convince me to do such thing, even if Adam was my friend or relative.

          • Idoltard10

Rehabilitard, I am not a frau. im only 28, im unmarried, and I am a lesbian. That being said…yes, guilty as charged. Well, with a twist. I bought Kris Allen’s CD for myself, as well as a couple as gifts to folks that like him. I am a Kris fan too. Just have way more love for Adam. Huge Kradam fan as well.

          • erinnthered

            This is for Idoltard10,

Unless Kris makes a huge mark before that date in May, we will likely very rarely, or maybe even NEVER hear his name again. They are trying to bury him, just like they did Taylor.

I sort of ended up knowing a lot more about Taylor and what went on behind the scenes with that I ever really intended, and I’m sorry, but you can’t equate the two.

Taylor dug his own hole. No contestant will ever deal with issues Taylor did unless they happen to be as pig headed and difficult as he was. I’d be happy to explain the whole thing in a more private setting, but trust me. Kris Allen =/= Taylor Hicks.

I also contest any notion that Jive and 19M, totally unrelated to J Records and The Firm, are trying to bury Kris. I know you’re new here, so you aren’t familiar with my rant on how 19E (AI), 19M, and Sony/BMG are in no way related, but they aren’t. The show doesn’t care about Idols post show, and the label imprint that signs the artists actually do care about promoting them and making their money back. Taylor was a massive exception for a myriad of reasons.

There is plenty of evidence that the label and management company Kris has are promoting him in a big way, and that he is seen as at least a moderate success by the label. Especially since Jive is big on singles sales, and Kris has them. Lets not even talk about the fact that they had Kris back on Idol in week 1 to promote IGB and release a special charity single for the organization. A big sign of love from 19E. Looks like all the alphabets at 19 love Kris. Exactly the opposite of Taylor.

          • Idoltard10

@erintheered I’ll trust ya on that one. I have no idea what each label values, etc, and don’t care to. Now, I sincerely hope you are right, and that Kris is valued by his label. Kris is a very good artist, but I must say he is NOT a very good celebrity. I’ll also always stand by my opinion that Adam IS receiving more promotion…he is a great artist AND a great celebrity. As for Taylor, no idea what went down with that, and don’t care, never was a fan. Good riddance, I say.

          • Mithra

Idoltard10, Are you aware how silly it sounds calling ANYONE a GLAM ROCK GOD? There is a big reason why you guys are being mocked.

          • Idoltard10

Mithra, even Kara called Adam a Rock God. No biggie. You can feel free to disagree with our sentiments, but the name has taken hold. It’s too late. That’s what he is now.

          • jukejoint

You’ll have to excuse me, because I don’t believe in god. Just Billy Wilder. So, anyway, how do you prove goddom? (That looks like goddamn, which is not what I meant. I want “god-like status.”)

If we stick Adam in a cave for three days, will he roll away the rock and rise again? I’m willing to bar the exit and leave him in a cave for as long as you like, you know, just to experiment.

Because, no, I don’t think Adam is any kind of god. And you don’t get to be a rock god just because you or your deluded fans say you are. Or the likes of Constantine Maroulis would be called “rock god.”

Meanwhile, you’re seriously suggesting KARA (aka Shit For Brains) as evidence of this goddom? If any, she’s evidence of exactly the opposite of whatever she says. “Club 57! Heinz 54! Rawk god! Pop peon! Matt Giraud, I want to bear your babies and little tiny Quatto babies, yes, I do! Casey James, I want to bear YOUR babies, yes, I do! Higgledy piggledy total package make a record yaddayadda Yogi Bear Yoga Bikini I’m tearing off my dress cause I got tits, yes I do!”

        • Mithra

Kara is a complete fucking idiot and laughing stock. The longer she stays on Idol the bigger of a joke she’ll be. She also called Studio 54 Studio 57.

The name has taken hold alright. It makes you all look like clueless tools, Adam included. Just because it’s mooed over and over does not make it a reality. Reality is that Adam is failing careerwise even though he’s getting mega money pumped into his reality TV attention whore arse. THAT is what he is. His music isn’t even rock. It’s like an updated Rick Springfield.

          • margie

Mirtha I love you :) But Rick Springfield is closer to… umm…his fans age demographic.

          • blacklisted

Kara is an idiot and laughingstock. I assumed that even Adam fans knew this.

Adam is NOT rock. I like him but the whole rockgawd thing is hilariously incorrect. He is pure pop and that’s cool.

It’s like saying that Britney is a rock goddess (not that Adam will ever be as big as Brit). No she ain’t, she’s just a manufactored pop princess who gives a good show and satisfies her fanbase.

Adam can sing unlike Madonna or Britney, but he’s a pop singer pure and simple. He’s closer to Scissor Sisters who were here before him and still decades too late to make it huge with a glam/disco/pop infused sound.

          • Idoltard10

We are all entitled to our opinions. Agree to disagree. I’m no Kara fan, but she IS a successful songwriter. I do give her SOME credit.

          • blacklisted

Uh yeah, she’s a songwriter but NONE of her stuff is rock. Bitch wrote for Hillary Duff, Miley Cyrus and the BSB. She wouldn’t know rock if it bit her in the ass. She’s further embarrassed herself and ruined her reputation BY appearing on AI. The fact that she’s a moron is now public knowledge.

          • Lauren

I just want to put out there that when people like Idoltard call Adam a rock god, they don’t mean it that seriously. I am pretty sure she doesn’t say her prayers to Adam before going to sleep. I am a god-doubter so I don’t get into the whole calling him a GOD thing either.

  • KmKolsch

    @jukejoint
Since you know what libel and slander are the next step is the defense to both. You can say or write any damn thing you choose, as long as it is the truth. Things that you are saying about me are not the truth. Do you get my drift? I do not have “big fat lies” in my book. It is well documented with over 40 pages of footnotes. I have market research from the same sources used by the Fortune 500 companies that chart every type of demographic you can imagine. They do teach us how to do competent research in law school. What the marketing research shows, both now and at the time of the final is that Adam had at least four to five times more fans than Kris. If you take the data and go state-by-state, city-by-city Kris is only more popular in Arkansas. Specifically, Little Rock and Conway. After Arkansas Kris’ next most popular location is Singapore, but Adam has five times more fans there as well. When you track the actual data and count the people, not the thousands of votes that can be generated by one person Adam should have had a landslide victory. I debunk two myths. Kris did not get the majority of Danny’s votes and the Dialidol map is wrong. Wisconsin is not big on Kris Allen and he hardly charted there at all. Adam on the other hand beats Danny in all but two cities. At the time of the final Danny did not have enough votes to push Kris over the top because Adam had well over 50% of the vote.

Dialidol gave Texas to Kris. It would have been impossible for Kris to have beat Adam there. The amount of fan traffic Adam has there is five times more than Kris’. We are talking about one of the most populated states and the numbers that separate the two are huge. Before I ever say a word about Arkansas I use unmanipulated data that anyone can go and verify to prove without a doubt that something skewed the vote in order for Kris to win because he was clearly not more popular in any state but Arkansas.

I went to Telecommunications experts and fair voting experts that explain how Idol’s flawed voting system acts as an equalizer so that even a more popular contestant can only get roughly the same amount of votes in on landlines as a less popular contestant. The number of lines and the number of hours are the same and can create the false impression of closeness when in reality it does not exist. Adam and Kris may have been separated by 1,00,000 votes on the night of the final three but that was an inaccurate representation of their actual fans. Text messages made the difference and they came from Arkansas. They are not limited by the restraints of landlines.

I do not believe that most of the people in America have a clue about what actually went on in Arkansas. But I know without a doubt that Kris’ winning votes came from there and if AT&T wants to dispute that they can be my guest. I have consulted with one of the top law firms in Florida and they would love to have a go at AT&T and obtain their records in discovery. Not only did the winning votes come from there the AT&T participation was enough to skew the vote in Kris’ favor. The AT&T executive that went rogue was a graduate of UCA and worked for AT&T promoting university events as a corporate sponsor. He is no longer working for AT&T. He left about the same time the New York Times questioned the 38 million votes from Arkansas.

There are many other entities in Arkansas that created an unfair advantage to the other contestants. Kris had so many business sponsors pimping his name it will make your head spin. There are Toad Suck Queens, flying cows and hundreds of people who posed with a life sized cardboard Kris. Just another thing, people like you were part of what motivated me to take my time and gather the evidence that disputes the legitimacy of Kris’ win. You and those like you have never once said that if Arkansas cheated it was wrong. It was not just Adam but every contestant form Season 8 that was displaced. Have you no sense of decency? Kris seems like a nice guy that got caught up in a state so desperate for attention that an American Idol winner was something they could all be proud about, even if they had to cheat to win. Before you call me names and attempt to discredit me I suggest and you read your own post that explains libel and slander. You owe me a retraction. You cannot possibly say without a reckless disregard for the truth that my book contains lies because you have not read it.

    • margie

Woman you are batshit insane. I think most people were caught up with the Hog Baseball team season going well and on to the College World series than American Idol. If we take anything that deep it’s Hog sports related. Hell they got Nutt to “resign”. American Idol isn’t that big of a deal.

      • deez

OH NO!!! Margie!!! How did you miss the Governor pre-empting the local news with the announcement that there would be beheadings in Toad Suck Park if people didn’t vote!! Also how did you not noticed that Chick-fil-A renamed its menu that day? I particularly enjoyed my “Mama Allen shake”and “#2 Katy meal” . And did you not know about that incident in Russellville where those people burned an entire city block because the owner of a hardware store was a secret Glambert!!!1111!!!!! OOOOH, and what about all the people stopped at the I-40 border by New Life Church members posing as State Troopers!!!! *GASP* they were given DEMO phones and forced to vote for Kris before resuming their travels!!! SHOCKING!!! LOL!

Riiiiiiggghhhhhtttttt. I guarantee a CWS baseball game wins over AI voting in 90% of homes in ARK. (if KMK is really from FL, she should understand the SEC by now)

    • jukejoint

I don’t owe you anything, Dear Kerry, because I didn’t make any claims whatsoever about what is or isn’t in your book, just what standard a court in any libel case would use. Please note that the “big, fat lie” part in my post does not actually refer to you, and in fact, is about what a factfinder would be looking for with regard to a finding of libel.

So your reading comprehension isn’t any better than your writing, if we are to judge from your words here and in your lovely blurb for your lovely “book.”

    • Lauren

Oh Kerry, just stop please. You are embarrassing the sane fans.

      • muzikizmi

        Thank you, Lauren

It doesn’t matter how many fans Adam had as of early May. It only matters how many were motivated to stay up until 1am to vote for him. Many Adam fans thought he had it in the bag. After all, isn’t that what the media was telling them? That wasn’t true, or Simon wouldn’t have resorted to begging people to vote for Adam.

Kris’s fans were very motivated. I had never voted for any idol before, but I did stay up until 1 am trying to vote for Kris. I couldn’t get one vote through until 12:40 am, and I live in a state that Dial Idol gave to Glambert. I guess AT&T forgot to jam Adam’s phone lines here.

    • et

Kerry, with all respect, you are fricking nuts.

  • Blue Eyes

This sounds like another attention-getting scheme from yet another crazy, over-invested Idol fan.

This person is looking for love and attention from Adam and his fans and will do anything, at any cost, to get it. Scary!

  • KmKolsch

I just want to say I love you guys! Keep talking about the book! And please do keep spell checking. I do read what you say and make changes. As far as “cultural literacy” it is not a term I made up but crafted by Arkansas politicians and Kris’s PR team. Top Idol , I am sorry you are late to jump on the Kris Allen PR bandwagon. For months you could have carted around a life size cutout of Kris Allen with your web site logo at his feet and have people take pictures with it. But oh no that might have broken American Idol rules.

    • yuppie

Any chance we could get some advance excerpts? I can’t believe a major publishing house hasn’t snapped this great piece of investigative reporting up! They must be a part of the conspiracy, too.

I love you guys. I am from Arkansas but live in Ashville now. I come from an old Arkansas family. My uncle has built wings to universities. My problem is this. I went to a Kris Allen Watch Party and I know that AT&T was there with charging stations and texting stations. They were giving out phones and Chick fil a was giving out free food. I also saw them with computers and everyone said that they were blocking Adam’s votes. I know that AT&T had big orange signs. What if that women Kerry can prove any of this? Then it will not be libel or slander will it?

SOCKPUPPET ALERT!!!!!! KMK, you might want to vary your phrasing, lol. (FAIL)
So which is it? Are you a Lawler/chef…or a wealthy former Arkansan now residing in Asheville?

      • Trish

Not to mention she doesn’t know how to spell the town she supposedly lives in now. It’s Asheville, with an “e.”

    • Lauren

KK, I am wondering why you need us to proofread for you. All versions of Microsoft Word have that capability. If you actually want people to take your conspiracy theories seriously, you should try to appear more professional.

      • margie

I want to know when these watch parties were broadcasted. I know they had the ones at UCA. That was his college. You support your own..like a Homecoming Queen election in the SEC (On The Edge/Deez) will understand.

    • isidra

Kris’s PR team coined the phrase ‘cultural literacy’? How come we’ve never heard him use it?

Besides, if having an elected president didn’t lend the state ‘cultural literacy’, I’m not sure how having an American Idol could. Especially one that, much as he seems like a sweet and funny guy, never really struck me as a real brain trust.

  • RheaTard

Clearly Adam needs Kerry Kolsch to champion him. He must be devastated over the loss of the little silver microphone that Kris received at the finale. I wonder if he’s crying on the inside while traveling through Australia and New Zealand promoting the international release of FYE?

  • RheaTard

Correct me if I’m wrong but if this book gets published, isn’t she basically opening herself up to a slander charge if Kris and his management decide that this “exposé” might potentially have a negative impact on his image/reputation/career? I’m just curious. Because she sounds like she is really out to get Kris and this woman is supposedly a lawyer.

I would love to see her ass handed to her in court, if that’s the case. >-D

    • Idoltard10

Expose? More like a joke. However, some of Adam’s more vocal fans are a special kind of crazy, and stuff like this makes me uneasy. So, she’ll be sued, but I really hope it gets no attention from anyone that actually matters. So far, its just Idol tards like us that actually bother to frequent American Idol related blogs and fan sites, thank goodness. But if there are enough Glamberts in her camp…well you know what kind of damage can be done. I’m a die hard Glambert, but I am at least of the semi sane variety. Something likes…oh heeellll nooooo. Been against this ever since she announced it on AO, and will rail against it until the issue is buried.

      • Idoltard10

        *something like this* sorry, typo

    • jukejoint

      It’s libel, not slander.

Whether she is sued or not depends on whether anybody in Kris’s management gives a flying fuck. There is a saying in the law: De minimis non curat lex. Or: The law does not concern itself with trifles. If the mosquito that is Kerry Kolsch is deemed to be of any import, then maybe somebody will try to squash her and her book. But it may be that they think suing her or trying to pull the book would give her more attention and notice than she needs and it’s better to just ignore her.

The other problem is that Kris is a public figure, and the standard for winning a defamation suit (defamation includes both libel [basically, a printed untruth that is damaging to someone's reputation] and slander [basically, a spoken untruth that is damaging to someone's reputation]) is higher than if he were, oh, the Chris Allan who lived next door to you in 5th grade who now has 2.2 kids and lives in a ranch house in Pottstown and has never even been in the newspaper except for that one time he ran 10th in the hurdles in a high school track meet. For THAT Chris Allan, showing that the defamatory statement was actually published, hurt his reputation, was obviously about him, came from her and was a big, fat lie would be enough. For THIS Kris Allen, his lawyers would have to prove that it was a big, fat lie, that it was published, that he is instantly recognizable as the one she’s talking about, that it hurts his reputation, and that Kerry published it knowing it was false and recklessly disregarding the truth. The “actual malice” part — she wanted to hurt him and published a lie on purpose — is much harder to prove.

Kris or 19 or whoever could certainly file a suit and argue it, no matter who would ultimately prevail, and just defending it would cost Kerry some serious bucks. It would also, of course, give her a soapbox, and if 19 were the entity suing on his behalf (or AT&T, or Chik-Fil-A, or Walmart) they would definitely attract some press over the lawsuit, and then VOILA, Kerry has a much bigger spotlight than the teeny, tiny one she has now.

Would a jury or a judge decide that Kerry was recklessly disregarding the truth and maliciously publishing falsehoods? She would argue that she absolutely believes it and I kind of think she does. I think this is more “I strung together a bunch of little silly stuff and to me, it’s a mountain, because I am a sad and pathetic person, when to anybody else in the history of the universe, with the possible exception of other delusional Glamberts and maybe a random paranoid schizophrenic, it is clearly a mole hill.

So, you know, yeah, they could file suit to get her to stop the nonsense or take away every dime she has (which is probably not a lot, all those internet get-rich-quick schemes notwithstanding) but it might be that that would give her and her book a lot more promo than she deserves, plus the suit might get dismissed or (heaven forfend) she might actually prevail in court because they would determine there is absence of malice, that she did not publish what she knew to be untrue because she actually believes it.

      • deez

Really?? I know the law is screwy sometimes, but you can say/print anything you want as long as you think it’s true? How could a Court of Law come to that determination? I mean, all she’d have to do was say ” I believe it’s true.” (even if she knows it not) and it’s then OK?

        Ugggh.

Well, if not a lawsuit, I hope she gets some sort of comeuppance.

        • jukejoint

The malice thing is only for *public figures*. If you are the defamed one and you are a public figure, you have to prove that she knew it wasn’t true and published it, anyway. For Regular Joe off the street who is defamed, the standard is less onerous.

Why do you think all those people can say that Hillary Clinton killed Vince Foster or that Barack Obama was born in Nigeria and is lying about it when anybody with a brain would say that’s just made-up nonsense? Because Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are public figures.

          • http://topidolblog.com TopIdol

            She’s just a crazy-ass conspiracy theorist.

But we can still totally make fun of her. Isn’t the book also supposed to prove Kris Allen is a homicidal, pot-smoking maniac or something?

          • margie

I remember when Access Hollywood came to my high school bc Paula Jones attended there in like Jr. High (I went to an extremely small school jr high/high school same building). That Vince Foster theory I remember a lot of people thought that and still think that. I don’t remember them thinking Hilary killed him. I just know A LOT I mean A LOT did not and do not think he committed suicide. At least in Arkansas.

          • deez

So basically, if you’re a public figure, anyone can say anything about you (no matter how ridiculous) and you have zero recourse. There’d be no way to prove the person spreading the lies believed or disbelieved anything …unless they were stupid enough to say it on tape.

Is the standard the same for AT&T and Chick-fil-A…(or any other company)?

          • Mithra

This could be good PR for Kris. It would get him in the tabloid news, and noone in their right mind would look at that cover and believe it. It’s would be hilarious and Kris would come out smelling like a rose.

      • Idoltard10

As for ‘actual malice’-this might be nit picking- but all you gotta do is go to any article in the vein of ‘Lambert vs Allen’ and read the comment sections. She obviously hates Kris Allen, as well as anyone from the state of Arkansas at the point.

  • et

I can’t even it make it through those snippets that you posted from her book. First of all, because it’s a steaming pile of crap. But I’m a proofreader by trade and cripes, if she was going to spend THOUSANDS OF HOURS taking on a mystery that no other journalist would take on (I guess she earned a special little bravery patch for that) she could have EDITED the damn thing.

“Not only dose irrefutable data show that Kris could not have won, it refute the reasons that were used to justify Kris’ win.”

    Dose? It refute? Blecch.

See, that distracted me somewhat from her Pulitzer Prize potential manifesto. Get with it, crazy lady.

“The madness of the pro-Kris, Arkansas, mob rational ”

That shit is just funny. Did they have pitchforks and burning torches? ‘Cause they just weren’t a good mob if they didn’t. Oh, that rational mob.

    • et

Well, I guess I should give her the benefit of the doubt – maybe her BOOK is beautifully edited, and only her little PR piece is a horror show. No? OK.

    • Lauren

My grammar is awful but even I notice the mistakes. Plus, according to my English teacher, the new updated rule would make it “Kris’s” instead of “Kris’.”

      • http://theepezdispenser.blogspot.com/ ePastorJames

Yay! I love that rule. Since grammar school, I had been battling teachers over my name, because I think “James’” makes it sound like I am multiples, a group of “Jame”, which is retarded.

And speaking of retarded, kids made it even worse, by writing “Jame’s” due to the possessive confusion. Are you kidding me? I don’t care that you’re 6, get with it, SPEDward.

      • et

Yep, at least for my proofreading work it would indeed be “Kris’s.” I’m still getting used to that after spending my first 30-ish years doing it the other way ;) .

        • Mithra

I pause on both, just like with British and American English spellings. Kris’s is more logical. Grammar sucks. Or should I say Grammer suck’s?

          • Lauren

It really does suck. Spanish grammar may be complex, but at least it has clear, set rules to follow.

  • SmartPoptart

I am 100 billion percent certain, for me for you, that this book’s awesomeness is gonna blow it out tha box.

  • 8sourcandy

She still hasn’t explained how this is supposed to help Adam’s Career. As I see it, any scandal associated with American Idol will sully the reputations of everyone affiliated with that show, including Adam Lambert. The only one who stands to gain anything is her. This is the act of an attention seeking lunatic. I hope that she is sued for slander.

And what is her beef with bi-sexual women? She has a better shot at getting into Hillary’s draws than Adam Lambert’s.

    • Lauren

LOL! But I don’t think anyone wants to be in Clinton’s draws, bisexual or not.

    • blacklisted

We need a moratorium on the mention of old women ‘drawers’! This can only end in discussing old women masturbation and I can’t hack to hear about that twice in one week.

  • ross

I’m really mad that I spent all those hours voting for Kress Ellen when he had it all sewn up already. Who knew??

Does she say how he managed to stay in the competition the whole time to get the finale to beat Adam Lambert? Was that arranged by Hitler, or maybe aliens from the planet Zirkon?

  • onetimeoffer

She was pimping the book on AO until the mod banned her. I remember one of her posts in particular. She was carrying on about “the conspiracy”, AT&T, blah, blah when she veered off course and started ranting about the evils of government. I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s a Tea Party Patriot by now.

    • http://topidolblog.com TopIdol

She’s big into Ron Paul and regularly posted accusations of Hilary Clinton being a lesbian on message boards under her name.

Pretty funny for someone who cries HOMOPHOBE whenever someone says they don’t like Adam Lambert.

      Kerry Kolsch said…
I don’t know why anyone would be surprised about Hillary being bisexual. The State Troupers and Jennifer Flowers told us all that long ago. My surprise is that with all her baggage, the fact that she and her husband ran a criminal empire in Arkansas (illegal drug trade) that our dumbed down society would want someone who should be in jail, (ah la Martha Stuart for insider trading at the very least, or the worst, conspiracy to commit murder, see Clinton death list) to hold ANY public office. WAKE UP AMERICA!

      • Sherena

That doesn’t look like she’s accusing Hillary of being lesbian, though. She just says “yup, no surprise she’s bi, also she’s a terrible person–that’s more important.”

        • http://topidolblog.com TopIdol

I think I have more…she’s been spouting her brand of crazy on the internet for years. Just Google her name. Always under her full name.

      • RheaTard

If Kerry is going to name drop, the least she could do is spell the name correctly. It’s Gennifer Flowers, with a G not a J. (geez!)

    • Idoltard10

I actually emailed the mod suggesting an IP lock on her. She still has several troll accounts there, if I am not mistaken. And I am a million percent sure that Adam WOULD NOT condone this. In fact, the mod came around when all the hooplah was going on, when they wanted to get rid of the Kradam section and told us all to stop the Kris bashing, because Adam himself condone the section. If anyone actually takes her pile of crap seriously, Adam will be mortified.

      • deez

I seriously doubt that she cares about how this would affect Adam (or, she’s nutty enough to believe that she knows what’s best for him). At this point, she is obsessed with being right. I know she’s a fan, but she’s one of those obsessed loons who would harm the object of their desire in order to prove a point.

I wonder if Adam, himself, asked her specifically NOT to do this, if she would still go forward with it? I tend to think that she would.

        • Mithra

Do you think anyone besides the fellow fanatics and we who are popping more popcorn watching this shit will ever know about loons like her or XenaJuneau, or “sweetsexymoemoe” and Isabelgate? Adam’s people probably would NOT want attention drawn to this type of crazy, and just let it be, hoping it will go away. I mean, I don’t think this woman is going to get a guest spot on Oprah any time soon. Howard Stern couldn’t even get more than initial media attention to possible real (not fantard paranoic) vote rigging. If Adam’s management were smart, they’d shut down his Adam Official forum, but I guess they can control and monitor that one unlike all the other insanity all over the internet.

          • deez

True. I know that no-one of consequence will probably ever see her work of fiction….but that doesn’t stop me from hoping they do…and that she gets stuck with a lawsuit. I would LOL from now til Xmas.

AND, most importantly it will teach these bitches to calm the hell down. Maybe it will dissuade someone else from doing the same sort of crap in the future!

          • Idoltard10

Wouldn’t do any good to shut down AO. It is his ONLY avenue for internet news spreading, videos, etc ATM, besides twitter. Besides, they can’t control what is said everywhere else, as you said..and can you IMAGINE the reaction if AO suddenly were gone? I am quite sure that RCA is NOT ready to deal with that kind of stampede…

          • http://topidolblog.com TopIdol

I’m convinced it also gives them better control over the crazies (i.e., ip addresses, et al).

        • Idoltard10

Every time someone makes the point that this would only hurt Adam, not help him, and that he wouldn’t want this to happen at all, she insists that justice is ALWAYS right. She also insists that without his ‘illegal outside help’ that Kris Allen wouldn’t have made it past the top 36… therefore he not only robbed Adam, but other contestants as well. The woman is INSANE. Seriously, she needs to get some help. You’re right when you say all she cares about is proving herself right.

          • deez

So Chick-fil-A and ATT were on the bandwagon during top 36? Oh my Lord…dang she does have the sources, doesn’t she?

It warmed my heart to discover AO banned her, lol. C’mon Kerry even the choir you “think” you’re preaching to thinks you’re a fraud!

          • Idoltard10

@deez(sorry, reply button is MIA on your post) this woman seriously believes that Kris Allen is THE ONLY ONE THAT HAD A CHANCE OF WINNING FROM THE BEGINNING. Period. Because he has been cheating since the voting round started. As for AO, I know there are some crazies there, but there are those of us that realize that some of the actions of the fanbase have hurt Adam, not helped him, and really make a conscious effort to keep ourselves in check, and encourage others to do so as well. Kerry is the Queen Crazy, and even the other really obsessive types often question her motives and her theories. There are quite a few that want this book to skyrocket so Adam can the crown that he so rightfully deserves though. And you know that what a Glambert wants, a Glambert gets.

          • http://topidolblog.com TopIdol

So there are actually people who still believe this crap? Even though she’s clearly gone down the rabbit hole (that reference was totally intended for your benefit) and her accusations seem to get progressively crazier? And after she’s been (repeatedly?) banned?

          • Idoltard10

noooooo Adam’s Down the Rabbit Hole Song shall not be referenced regarding people like her! He only wants fans that respect his wishes down there with him, I guarantee it. And yes, there are plenty that believe it. As I said in my first post on this issue, that is why stuff like this makes me uneasy. If they take up the crusade whole heartedly, as you know Glamberts are capable of doing if they so choose, it COULD wind up getting major media attention.

          • http://topidolblog.com TopIdol

She seems to love the attention she gets on this blog! I do hope she sends me an advance copy.

          • deez

Lol…If that’s the case, he’s a pretty good actor.(The looks of shock/surprise every time he was safe from the top 5 on….I guess she doesn’t remember that)

I’ve been over @ AO a few times and have noticed that some of the people who question the nuts get called out. (probably by other nuts) But most people seem to give them a wide berth- probably in the hope that they’ll just go away, or get banned. The mods don’t seem to have a lot of patience for nonsense.

          • Idoltard10

@deez AO has been camp run amok for quite some time. For a long time, there WERE no mods, and they stepped in when things got hairy when the Kradam section was created by Adam and the forum managment. They’ve had a hard time reeling the activity is, and there is still a lot of nastiness there. The mods do NOT have patience for the crazy, you are right there. If you question nonsense, yes you get called out. But most of us that question things have other avenues of communicating with non crazies… Since Adam got banned from Open House Party that week, the mods are sick of the uber nuts. In fact, the mod that posts there has been quite clear in saying that he doesn’t CARE if you have 10,000 posts and joined the day the site opened, he’ll ban you if you cause trouble on the forum or do something that could screw with Adam’s career. But, as you know, there are places besides AO that this stuff can be promoted on. If the official site won’t permit it, other places will. Also, the mod that posts made it clear that he doesn’t have time to read every thread and every post. So, there are threads with deceptive code word titles that still reek of crazy.

          • deez

If somebody wants to learn about Adam, and they google his name, I certainly hope they end up at a site that is being monitored, otherwise they will discover they’ve entered crazy-land, and they wouldn’t be likely to return. How is that a good thing? It sounds like the purging @ AO will make it a nice place for fans to visit (a good place for new fans), and I hope they go there first intead of the crazzzzy splinter boards. Can you imagine what you might think if your intro to the fandom was KMK?

          • Idoltard10

@deez, some of the first sites that come around when you search Adam are The Glambert Rock(heavily moderated, and on the front page it asks not to engage in Kris bashing, and says ‘doesn’t take a title to be an idol’) Adam Official(still in crazy mode, but getting better) and, of course, the official American Idol site(can get crazy, but heavily moderated, so the crazy doesn’t stay more than a few seconds). So he is safe there, unless they scroll down to some of the more unofficial boards that allow nutty fantarding and conspiracy theories and arguing, etc. So hopefully the googlers are too lazy to scroll.

          • deez

LOl…Lazy is our friend in many instances!

  • Feisty

Why would Arkansas need American Idol to give them cultural literacy when they already had Johnny Cash and Maya Angelou?

    • Lauren

What is cultural literacy? Being able to read about different cultures?

      • deez

        http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E._D._Hirsch,_Jr.

This should help (or not)….what this has to do with Kris Allen, I can’t fathom.

        • Lauren

Oh, so fancy way of saying she thinks Arkansas just wanted Kris to win to put them on the map. So people would know about them. If KKK knows terms like “cultural literacy,” why can’t she spell?

          • Lauren

I am sorry, I meant KMK of course.

  • damitman

Being from Arkansas this whole thing just cracks me up!! Absurd! I guess me cheating consisted of me only getting thru about 10 times the first 3 hours of voting. The Glamberts were obviously blocking the calls.

  • vtu

Arkansas, I think you backed the wrong horse in the cultural literacy race. Kris covers Whitesnake.

    • muzikizmi

Umm, yes, because that was Kris being sooo totally serious. Oh, I forgot. To a Glambert, hair metal was the high point of cultural literacy.

      • vtu

OK, irony failure (on my part). I’d have thought the connection of Whitesnake with cultural literacy would have made it clear I wasn’t serious, but you make a good point about (some) Glamberts’ musical taste, so I can see where I led you wrong. :)

        • muzikizmi

Sorry, vtu. I must have had my irony detector in the shop. It does seem to be in need of repair. :-/

    • On The Edge

Hey man, what do you have against Whitesnake?

(child of the 80s…I liked some hair bands, I admit it)

      • http://topidolblog.com TopIdol

That video was kind of awesome. Less of the Disney dude. More Kris Allen doing Whitesnake! Then it would have been awesome-awesome.

  • BettyBlue

Kerry should send a copy to all senators. Maybe there will be a congressional hearing on what really happened, but then again, maybe there won’t be if they are in on it, too.

    • jukejoint

Yeah, but if she sends it to Kentucky Senator Jim Bunning, he might actually take it up and we will NEVER hear the end of it. Cause he’s as big a nutball as she is. OTOH, Arkansas’s Sentator Blanche Lincoln is out of her mind, too, so she might offer some pushback because her state has been maligned.

      Blanche vs. Bunning, cage match!

  • mzbet

“The madness of the pro-Kris, Arkansas, mob rational was that an American Idol win would give the state cultural literacy. ”

Wow! I’m from Arkansas, and I must say that I certainly feel more literate since Kris won! Dang! Who knew I didn’t need that college degree?

  • muzikizmi

“Adam leads Kris in every age and location, except for some cities in Arkansas.”

Really? That is not what the Dial Idol map showed.

    • margie

Technically there is one city in Arkansas…Little Rock. The population here is small. Atlanta has more than the entire state.

      • margie

        ^has more people

        • wino

seriously. but you have common sense…its quite rare these days.

  • ritzy

Do you realize how much time and energy it takes to write a book (even a crap book like this one)? If you have that much time and energy, WHY would you waste it on American Idol and, of all people, Adam Lambert?!? I really think I’ve seen everything now. *smh*

  • Dickory Dock

Hmm. And here all this time I thought the media didn’t pick up on this story because it … wasn’t a story. How silly of me.

    And this bit:

Many believed it was a religious crusade and they could single handedly stamp out homosexuality.

The madness of the pro-Kris, Arkansas, mob rational was that an American Idol win would give the state cultural literacy.

Crusade? Mob rational? Oh, the irony. It burns.

    • Sherena

      She spelled “rationale” wrong.

That bothers me more than anything else…

    • Federer’s Nose

Seriously. That part is just…wow. She’s making i a hell of a lot more than it really is. I doubt most who voted for Kris had that in mind

  • muzikizmi

I think the photos, as well as the press stories about the Idio concert crowd, told the real story about Glamberts fanbase. Mostly middle aged and older females, with a few younger women and a sprinkling of men.

Glamberts can spin the stats all they want, but all anyone has to do, is just watch who shows up at the concerts.

  • Kathy

    Chik- Fil-A is pro cow….slow clap…..
    :)

  • Nich

I think I just hurt something trying to hold back a laugh when I saw that cover. I cannot wait for this book to come out.

  • Mimi

So, if/when this “book” gets published will the Glamberts finally own the crown for craziest idol fanbase? Seriously, season 8 was my first and likely last season to get invested post-finale, but I can’t imagine that even Claymates reached this kind of obsession… although I do recall recently seeing a photo of a Claymate car… nah, that’s not the same level of crazy, right?

  • deez

Here is the guy who was the mouthpiece for eradicating gayness, lolol:

    http://idolforums.com/index.php?s=f8210d267efcd7324938ff4e99fb60a0&showtopic=594565&st=5580

(see post #5589) I have no clue how to embed this. TI?

  • deez

I see in your link TI, that the thread @ AO is asking for ages. LOL! I guess this is where Kerry got her demographics info.

As far as I know, when you call in a vote, it doesn’t record your age and sex…so she has no valid source for this. Clicking to vote in an online poll (which , as we know, Glamberts are prone to do) doesn’t count.

  • wino

TI’s first book club selection!! you can post one chapter per week :)

  • wino

Kerry should use her awesome investigative skills to figure out why Adam hasn’t had laser work on his multiple acne scars. Just sayin….

    • Burgundy LaRue

Every time I see a close-up photo of Adam, I want to drag him to the near dermatologist and get the guy the facial peel special of the day. Not that I’m some beauty queen, but I don’t make my living in front of a camera, either. Just break down and get the procedure, Adam. Maybe you can stop troweling on the 10 pounds of foundation then.

    • onetimeoffer

I’m sure Adam appreciates everyone’s concern about his skin and would thank you if he could for your suggestions.

Adult acne is a pisser to deal with. Stress alone can trigger an outbreak, and outbreaks can occur well into a person’s 30′s. Laser treatments won’t be effective for Adam until the condition is no longer active. It’s up to his dermatologist to decide when and what treatment is appropriate.

      • wino

what makes his skin look bad is not the outbreak itself but the potholes that are eating up his face. its up to adam to buck up the $2-4K for a fraxel treatment now that he’s a big “rock star”. pssss: acne scars vs acne are too separate problems. his scars don’t necessarily mean he still has outbreaks, just that he had them at one point in his life. and good lawrd, they must have been bad…. chunks of his skin are basically missing (!).

        yours truly,

        miss perfect ;)

      • blacklisted

Maybe if Adam let his skin breathe he would be better off. Ten pounds of make up and a lackadaisical (ie. he’s discussed sleeping with make up on) cleaning regime is a killer on the skin.

  • Mysterioso

I must have this book. FINALLY the truth will be known!

  • watermyplant

Surely you don’t think anyone lies on the internet?

I’d love to find out what sites actually ask for demographic information, and which would actually provide her with a breakdown.

    • Pandora

And which ones actually verify it somehow. Remember, on the internet nobody knows that you’re a cow.

    • Laura

She could, theoretically, have somehow gotten access to comScore or Nielsen data – they do actually measure traffic and demo info for AO (what is my life, I just used my company access to comScore to look it up). Ha, the comScore demo data doesn’t really match what she’s claiming, though.

      • Claire

We subscribe to ComScore, @Plan, etc. at my work, and it’s very expensive. I highly doubt she has access to third party research as a ‘lawler.’ She totally surveyed a tiny unscientific sample of five people and came up with her figures.

        • Laura

No, I know it is – I was thinking more along the lines that she got a friend/contact with access to pull it for her (assuming she actually has any of those…). But I totally agree – this is internet poll data fo’ sho’ :)

          • Claire

My point is that she pulled the figures out of her ass :)

        • deez

Nahhhh! She got it from this comment:

Re: How old are all you Glamberts?
On tis site te breakdown is:

          13-17 – 27,280
          18 – 34 -74,700
          35-49- 94,620,
          over 50 – 44,820

        • Mithra

She totally surveyed a tiny unscientific sample of five people and came up with her figures.

Two of those being “sweetsexysean” and “His” husband “Jake” ;)

    • Lauren

Twitter poll? That way she could survey Glamberts around the world about who they prefer. Sounds fair to me. ;)

  • jukejoint

Still just a dream? Oh, dear. I thought it was, at long last, a reality. Maybe her lawlers are giving it one last look.

I’m thinking they couldn’t use a picture that actually looked like Adam since she’s trying to make money off his image and he didn’t agree for it to be used, and they can’t just steal some paparazzi photo, cause they’d have to pay for that. So weird anime Tom Cruise, it is.

This “book” is a perfect example of why a real publishing house is better than vanity publishing. Not only will the editors fix all the typos and the designers give you a decent cover, but somebody should also vet the thing for possible legal problems. Well, actually, they probably wouldn’t touch the thing with a ten-foot pole because of its legal problems, but that would be like a gift to KK, anyway.

Do we think it’s going to be print-on-demand, or did KK come up with dough to actually print some number of physical copies that she’s going to stack up in the kitchen till they bust the linoleum?

  • saskin

We all know Kerry lurks here so I suggest being constructive (or as Kerry might say congressional) in our criticism. I’ll start by saying that there is at least one grammatically correct sentence in this blurb. I don’t know which one. But there might be.

    • jukejoint

I think “How could this happen?” is spelled and punctuated properly. That’s the only one I could find.

    • barado

And cheers to Kerry for spelling “Kris” and “Allen” correctly. Most Glamberts haven’t conquered that linguistic hurdle yet.

      • Pandora

        Chris Allon FTW!

    • 8sourcandy

      I adore your optimism :)

  • Laura

The best thing about this post it includes both American Idol AND tectonic plate theory. I love it so, so much.

Oh, and how dare you criticize the artistic masterpiece on the cover…HOW VERY DARE YOU.

  • mustang

Wow…just, wow. These Glamberts truly have nothing better to do with their lives?

Yes, it was fixed. Of course it was. I mean, it can’t be that Adam went from singing to caterwauling, disabling many eardrums with his screeching, could it? Of course it’s raging homophobia that denied him the crown! After all, it’s common knowledge that sexual preference dictates success and failure.

    Right, Sir Elton? Right?

I am constantly amused at the Glambert Nation antics. Truly entertaining.

  • J

WTF that really does look like Tom Cruise. TI any chance you will get a copy and do reading for us?

    • Burgundy LaRue

I say we chip in and buy one copy, then pass out around among ourselves. Kind of like the Stanley Cup where everyone on the team gets to spend a day with it.

      • On The Edge

Ah, I’ve done this before! I was on a board and one of us bought “Bunny Tales,” an expose on life in the Playboy Mansion by one of Hugh Hefner’s ex-girlfriends/members of the harem. She spilled a ton of dirt on two of the “Girls Next Door,” Holly and Bridget. None of us wanted to give Isabella St. James any more money, so we just mailed it to each other. It was sent to you, you read it, then mailed it to the next girl on the list.
