When will this masterpiece be published?

I know all of you have been going crazy. We have been waiting so long for independent investigator Kerry Kolsch’s groundbreaking book of what REALLY happened during Season 8 of American Idol to be released for public consumption. We really need to know about the vast pro-Kris Allen conspiracy stretching from the streets of small-town Arkansas, to the executive offices of Chik-Fil-A and the boardrooms of AT&T.

J. Randy Taraborrelli is nothing compared to Kerry Kolsch!

You see, Kerry Kolsch thinks Kris Allen’s American Idol victory was fixed, like a male cat and the 1918 World Series. She believes her book will set the record straight and the title of American Idol will be bestowed upon its rightful owner, Adam Lambert. Yes. Someone out there continues to waste their time obsessing over something which happened nearly one year ago and had zero effect on the greater society or plate tectonics.

(Because Lambert is totally suffering from coming in second, right? That’s why he has a recording contract with RCA, just performed on Leno…? Was I the only one who thought neither Kris Allen nor Adam Lambert cared who won the whole damn thing?)

Sadly, Adam Lambert: Second to None is still just a dream. Perhaps they are fixing the cover art? I’m not sure why Tom Cruise is on a book about Adam Lambert, and personally, I’m a bit insulted you could feature Adam Lambert looking like one of the biggest idiots in all of famous people land.)

On May 20, 2009 Ryan Seacrest announced that Kris Allen, an ordinary guy who could sing a little, beat the phenomenal vocalist and performer Adam Lambert. How could this happen? It made sense when the Arkansas Gazette and then the New York Times broke the story; Kris had help from corporate sponsor AT&T. Then, as quickly as the story erupted, the story fizzled with denials from AT&T, FOX and American Idol. All three claimed that the vote was fair, accurate and independently verified by Telescope Inc. Not one news outlet challenged the denial, even while many doubted the fairness of this victory.

Unencumbered by any corporate interests, independent investigator Kerry Kolsch took on the mystery that no other journalist would. She set out to find the truth. What she unraveled was a murky tale of corporate hubris and homophobia, with the flavor of backwoods politics. Kris Allen did not beat Adam Lambert alone. It took the whole state of Arkansas and the unfair voting system created by AT&T to hijack the victory from Lambert.

This explosive book, based on thousands of hours of research, proves once and for all that Adam Lambert is the legitimate winner of American Idol Season 8. The research follows events in Arkansas and trails through cyberspace that can quantify demographics state-by-state, month-by-month and city-by-city, and identify who the winner really was. Not only dose irrefutable data show that Kris could not have won, it refute the reasons that were used to justify Kris’ win. It was not America’s homophobia. Kris did not get Danny’s votes. Kris won because AT&T showed Kris’ Arkansas supporters how to game the system.

A singing contest became an Arkansas state endeavor involving; the Chamber of Commerce, politicians, churches, radio, television, newspapers, businesses, universities, banks, dancing cows and Toad Suck Queens. With the intensity of a hotly contested sporting event, the whole state took on Adam Lambert. They were whipped into frenzy by a clever PR team. Many believed it was a religious crusade and they could single handedly stamp out homosexuality.

The madness of the pro-Kris, Arkansas, mob rational was that an American Idol win would give the state cultural literacy. Imagine? Read the facts and you decide if Kris Allen really won, or if Adam Lambert is Second to None.

(Glamberts hate Chik-Fil-A because its a Christian values chicken joint, but they never seem to think about the fact its one of the few big-time fast food chains who are pro cow? Chik-Fil-A wants to save the sparkle herd! Not slaughter them.)

Some Glambert (most likely a Kerry Kolsch sockpuppet promoting her book) claims to have read this grand masterpiece!

I just read Kerry Kolsch’s book Adam Lambert, Second to None and she has the demographics for this website and breaks it down in numerous ways. It is not true that all Adam’s fans are all older. His 18 to 34 fan base is very strong. Kerry compared Kris to Adam and Adam leads in all age demographics. 40% of Adam’s fans here are male. Kris has the same percentage of male fans. Adam leads Kris in every age and location, except for some cities in Arkansas. Adam’s dominance existed before the final and has never decreased at any time since then. You do not even have to know what happened in Arkansas to realize that there was no way Kris could have beat Adam without cheating.

So color me stupid, but is Adam Lambert vs. Kris Allen a question on the 2010 Census? Just where would you obtain such accurate information about the demographics of people who might have watched an inconsequential reality TV singing contest?

And what the hell do you have against TOAD SUCK QUEENS? Oh I see. Kerry Kolsch, you lost the crown of Toad Suck Queen and you’ve been bitter ever since. Channel this energy into finishing your EXPLOSIVE BOOK. And please send me a copy when you finish.

Well, she did say that you and she had sane mothers (although the whole Ron Brown thing didn’t sound very sane to me). But, still, maybe she thinks you are kindred spirits, with your Clinton-hating moms. Or maybe she thinks her book and its infinite wisdom will convince you that her views are gospel and you will give her a good “review”. Maybe she is dreaming of putting “A masterpiece!!! This book could’ve been carved into stone tablets and handed to Moses!!!! ***** — Top Idol” on the back cover.

My general reply to all of the idiots. This does not include you Top Idol.
Except for the Arkansas relatives and a few tone-deaf fans I do not think for one minute that any of you small minded, mean spirited, miserable human beings give a damn about Kris. He just gives you a chance to be bigots and go after the gay man. I had my fun with you fools now I am done. Do I think I changed your minds? Hell no. I do not think you have minds to change. You operate in the realm of mindlessness and nothing can impact you illogical positions. Go on telling yourself how much better Kris sings than Adam. Make up your phony music professors who have ultra perfect pitch who love Kris and can’t stand Adam’s screeching. Tell yourself that Kris can play “instruments” while others laugh at the notion that you would brag about such rudimentary skills. You dispute that Adam’s fans outnumber Kris’s because his mystical, magical, supernatural fans cannot be recognized or quantified by expert marketing researchers. In truth it is only in your imaginations that a large Allen fan base exist. You ignore that AT&T and Arkansas cheated for Kris’s win and American Idol rules were broken. Adam is proving to be the musical genius that many of us recognized early on. Adam’s promotional tour is gaining him recognition in the music industry worldwide. The world of credible musicians will never be knocking at Kris’s door. You were good for a few chuckles but your creepiness is overshadowing your entertainment value. I will be in touch Top Idol. I did promise you a book.

    • Verbally Dyslexic

You also promised to answer some questions, and look how that turned out. Nada! Niente!

I’m not holding my breath for the book, to be honest.

    • muzikizmi

      http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SZuhxvZuEL0

Sir Elton will be so sad to learn after 40 years that he is not a credible musician. Poor Keith Urban, with his 5 CMA awards, and entertainer of the year award. What will he do, while touring with Kris this summer. No credibility there. Nope. KK said so. Adam Lambert is obviously the only person on the planet who can sing. Everyone else should be so embarrassed, as to give it up. KK. said so. Then radio can be Adam 24/7. Wouldn’t that be grand? It would certainly save me a lot of money that I now spend buying music from hundreds of singers and bands. Nope. We can only like one singer, and it has to be Adam Lambert. KK said so. No matter if he has a type of voice that we never liked before. We have to love it now. KK said so.

How many platinum albums do your music professors possess? Those who can, do. Those who can’t, teach.

      • muzikizmi

Even though I am a Kristard, I can admit that Kris’s album has flopped so far. It may turn around if the second single is a hit.

I can also say that Adam’s album has flopped. For all of the promo and press he got, his album should have sold gold the first week, and should have reached double platinum by now.

Adam’s fans bragging that Adam is a smashing success, because his album didn’t flop as hard as Kris’s, is rather amusing.

I would bet that Kris has sold more albums per dollar spent by the label, than has Adam. Now that would be an interesting book to read.

The scandal here, is not AT&T. The Idol machine announced long ago that spam and block votes are kicked out by their system. So, all of that power texting was most likely a huge waste of time by both Adam’s and Kris’s fans.

The scandal is that 19E has sunk a boatload of money in Adam, and he had better hope he sells better internationally, than he has sold in this country.

    • kimberly

Why isn’t your reply to Top Idol as well? She hasn’t been exactly in your corner. Still holding out hope to be her bestie, you know, BFFs? Or is this your way of networking? Never know what literary world connections Top Idol might have at her disposal. Nice that you’re not burning any bridges here.

Your Adam hyperbole is sad. He doesn’t need you. He doesn’t know you. Credible artists/musicians have all ready been knocking on Kris Allen’s door. Your outlook is so insular, myopic.

As a past member of a writers’ group, I’ve read some very impressive works by fledgling authors. Many have toyed with the idea of self-publishing, e-books, et al. Completing a book is one thing, finding a literary agent and then a publisher is as elusive as finding the Holy Grail. But, first and foremost, the book must be good. I sincerely doubt that will be the case with SECOND TO NONE. I merely feel for you because your world is so wrapped up in ADAM and how your time has been sorely wasted. Good luck.

    • On The Edge

You know what Kerry? (sorry, Top Idol, I’ve had a stressful few days and I have to vent and I gotta take it out on somebody) FUCK YOU. I LIKED Adam and Kris both, I would have been perfectly happy if either one won. If anything, I felt that Kris needed the win more, and Adam would have NO problem getting a record deal. I loved Kris’s pre-Idol music…I scrambled to get every track off Brand New Shoes. I LIKE HIS FUCKING VOICE, OKAY? And so do about a MILLION other people who bought “Live Like We’re Dying.” We’re not the ones who are tone-deaf…YOU are.

And all you did is succeed in making me NOT LIKE Adam and everything associated with him, ESPECIALLY his fans. And it doesn’t have a single mother fucking goddamn thing to do with his being gay. If he was a straight butch football player who fucked any and everything with a pussy I STILL wouldn’t care for him. I love Elton John, and NPH, and Melissa Etheridge, and the Indigo Girls, and my LESBIAN sister and her LESBIAN lover who was one of my bridesmaids! You know why everyone talks about Adam? For the same reason they talk about Lindsay Lohan and Heidi Montag and Perez Hilton…NOT a good thing, dumbass. So FUCK YOU, Kerry “Bat-Shit-Crazy-Fucking-Bitch” Kolsch! I hope somebody sues the SHIT out of you.

      Hallelujah! Holy shit…where’s the Tylenol?

      • muzikizmi

On The Edge, you go with your bad self! Now, that was good reading. I feel the same way. I always liked Kris better. I love his smooth voice. I always wished Adam well. Now, I hope he crashes and burns so badly, that it lights up the sky for miles around. I can’t stand the man or his army of elderly ding bats. His fans make me gag, like Oskar with a hair ball. Not the ones here, of course. Well, KK is here, so Oskar, pass the hairball remedy.

      • erinnthered

Sorry you had a bad week, edge. Nice rant, though. Christmas Vacation is a good stress release movie.

Stand up OTE and take a bow! Thank you for saying what I’ve been thinking for days.

      • deez

The Edge: Two enthusiastic thumbs up!!!!!!!!!!!

      • damitman

BRAVO BRAVO!!! You just said everything I was thinking

    • erinnthered

      Okay, now it’s just sad.

Kerry, I think you need to tell your family what you’re doing. Your real family. Talk to them. I think they can help you with the book. Really.

      • DeeDee

Seriously guys, this person has to be a troll right? When she accused Kris’ brother of being the mastermind behind this so called conspiracy, that’s when I began to suspect we were being taken for a ride. I hope so because otherwise I’m really scared.

    • pao

I’m proud to be a Kristard, and probably I should be mad, angry and full of rage again Miss K for all her “full of bs” comments, but instead of that, I’m going to stand up and give hear a round of applause.

Why? Because I’m dying of laughter, really all her comments are priceless. Daniel a criminal master mind, an AT&T conspiracy, people voting 10, 000 times, everybody hates Adam because he is gay, Chick-fil-a and the cows, OMG everything is just full of win. I’m not going to lie, I want to read this book just for the lulz.

You go Miss K, thank you for be her for my entertainment.

      • pao

Ups it was *against* not again. Sorry

    • deez

AWWWWW. Poor Kerry can’t take a wittle cwiticism, WAAAAH! Yep, I wanted” to go after the gay man.” I guess I dreamed up all that time I spent at the bedside of my best friend who slashed his wrists after his partner of five years left him.

And honestly, what does how we feel about Adam have to with your nutty theory anyway?
Your reading comprehension skills are sorely lacking. Nobody said Kris was a better singer. What we DID say (repeatedly) was “Fansite traffic and posts=/= votes.” Apparently, you are too stupid to grasp that single, simple fact. (Or too much of an arrogant bitch to admit that you do; because, after all, that is the crux of your whole argument.)

If your goal was to come across as the most ignorant, obsessive TARD of all time, you have succeeded beyond your wildest dreams. I hope Adam sees your book and drives down to Miami so that he can personally slap your face to the other side of your head.

    • Sandy

I love this post and all the comments! Kerry Kolsch – trying to prove your book is not a stupid waste of time with your illogical comments is right up there with Holly Sockpuppets trying to prove she does not post under a multitude of fake names by posting here under a bunch of fake names.

I’m from California, Adam’s state, and I voted for Kris. I have never even seen a Chik-a-fil, never had an ATT phone, never posted on any Kris Allen fansites, and I am not a homephobe intent on stamping out homosexuality. I voted for Kris because overall I ENJOYED his performances MORE than Adam’s. Most everyone I know who watches AI felt much the same as I did. My friends and family who did vote for the finale voted for Kris. Most of us did like a few of Adam’s performances and some even voted for him a few times, but overall felt he was too OTT theatrical and screamy. Adam may well have the better voice and range but I don’t care for how he uses it. There is much more to being a good singer than merely having an impressive voice.

Adam’s fans had the same opportunity to power vote as Kris’s fans did as instructions on how to do so were posted on his fansites . So if winning AI were only dependent on who had the most traffic on their fansites then Adam’s fans should have been able to easily out vote Kris’s. But I believe the outcome of the voting, especially in the last few weeks, is heavily dependent on who the casual Idol fan chooses to vote for as they vastly outnumber the overly invested online fans. Except for David Cook, I have always been a casual fan as are most of my friends. We don’t spend a lot of time online posting on fansites. We may throw a few votes to one or two contestants we feel did well on a particular night but will vote more heavily in the final weeks for the one we liked best overall . No conspiracy, just personal preference.

Kerry Kolsch – by basing your assumptions about who should have won by measuring such things as website traffic and online polls, you are totally underestimating the power of the casual voters who aren’t very involved in online fan activities. How do you think someone like Syesha Mercado, who did not have very active online fan presence and was routinely dissed by the judges, managed to remain in the competition right up to the final 3 of her year? Many casual voters did like her and they are what kept her in the competition.

You are really out of line calling anyone who doesn’t agree with your viewpoint idiots and accusing them of being bigots. I do wish Adam well but I just don’t enjoy his singing, his sexual orientation is completely irrelevant to me.

      • AH

I also live in Southern CA and enjoyed Kris better on the show because hmmm I actually like his voice (and no, my ears do not need to be cleaned out). And of the 10 people that I know who watch the show IRL, they either 1) liked Kris and Adam equally and didn’t really care who won, 2) liked Kris(or another contestant) the best and couldn’t stand Adam (for his singing NOT his sexuality) or 3)didn’t give a crap about any of the contestants and just watched the show for enjoyment.
I know this isn’t “scientific research” but it’s probably more accurate than the crap that KK spews in her book!

And NEWSFLASH: I voted for Kris for all 4 hours on finale night BY PHONE and not by text! I do not and have not ever owned an AT&T cell phone.

Lastly, I cannot believe we are even still talking about this subject as it has been discussed to death. The show ended over 9 months ago and yet this insane woman STILL cannot let it go. I feel sorry for her, really I do.

        • Sandy

I also voted for the full 4 hours(by phone not text) and was still getting busy signals near the close of voting, which would have been after voting closed for Arkansas. So apparently quite a lot of people in our time zone were voting for Kris.

          • AH

Apparently! She must have conveniently forgot to include this info when she took her “census” poll for her book because really, why should she bother? Of course everyone who did not live in the state of AR HAD to be voting for Adam! *sarcasm*

        • http://topidolblog.com TopIdol

My good friend, who was a Lambert fan all last season, called him a “poor man’s Lady Gaga” by Xmas. When we were on the phone on Sunday, after asking me about my blog, she said, “I think his career is already done. He bombed before it even began.”

This is from someone who is very up on pop culture, loves gays and just returned from Israel. She can’t even watch Idol this year because she thinks its so bad, but she watched all last season. In fact, I may have mentioned her at Xmas and her comment, because she also thought, “Kris Allen proved he was the real musician.”

I bring up the anecdote not to piss anyone off, but because this is someone who is not invested in the show, but loved him all last season. She does not vote on Idol, and she is not ashamed to admit it when she likes “cheesy” things. She hasn’t bought either of their albums, btw.

    • ryo

You realize that everything you just applied to everyone on this board are things that actually fit you a lot better, right? When will you get it through your head that you’re absolutely nuts and every time you open your mouth you only confirm it? Go pitch your book to the small amount of overly invested nutcases who will buy it because none of the rest of the world cares.

    • onetimeoffer

“You were good for a few chuckles but your creepiness is overshadowing your entertainment value.”

      Back atcha, KK

    • Lauren

I think Adam is more talented vocally so your entire post has nothing to do with me. Not everybody here hates Adam. And even being an Adam fan, I think you are mentally insane. I am done with this thread now.

      • Idoltard10

Amen, Lauren. We are both HUGE Adam Fans Kerry. But we are also sane. You are not. We care about what ADAM would want. You do not. We have lives outside of something as laughably insignificant as the outcome of an almost year old reality contest. You do not. Oh, and as for going after the gay man? I am as queer as they come honey, so that rant makes absolutely NO sense whatsoever. Now, to play devil’s advocate, there are some folks here who can’t stand Adam. But you know what? People like you are the ones that run new fans off. Believe you me, you are doing him more harm than good. Ciao. Please take your Zyprexa, Risperdal, and Geodon before bed. You might be better in the morning if you do.

Adam was on the cover of Rolling Stone not because he is gay, but in spite of it. Adam’s awesome talent, sizzling sexy looks and disarming charm were able to break down barriers that would have ended many a career before it started. Anyone that thinks that Kris won legitimately is a fool. If you are enjoying Kris’s very boring music, you don’t have an ear. Kris does not have much of a voice and he cannot keep time. His timing affects his vocals and his very ordinary guitar and piano. Kris is not “nice” in my book, he is delusional, when he says that “Adam deserved the win as much as he did”, he needs to get real. Adam deserved the win because he is by far the most talented entertainer to ever step on the stage at American Idol. Adam will be a musical legend when Kris is back in Arkansas eating his lifetime supply of cheese dip.

I’ve noticed that Kerry uses the same phrases repeatedly …she likes to talk about cheese dip.

“I don’t have stats on the music but Adam has four to five times the amount of fan traffic and it may be more. I think they are cooking the numbers over at Krisallenoffical. Tell them Kerry Kolsch’s book is coming out tomorrow that is going to prove that Arkansas cheated for Kris’s win with the help of AT&T and many more sponsors that were helping him. It will not be long until he is back in Conway eating his lifetime supply of cheese dip.

    Interesting…just found this @ VFTW:

    from fcktoob2009

I just want to say I love all the folks that are entertained by the insane tards and spend time digging for more crazy. Up until recently, I only read the front page articles. You guys are more fun. Big to you all.

I googled Kerry Kolsch and have been laughing my ass off at her internet posts. She has been on the crazy train since AI8 was airing. But one post on a blog called “earsucker” caught my eye –

    She wrote:

“Jade who posted here earlier is a truly sick human being who went into my aunt’s private Face Book account and tried to find information on me because we have the same name. She tried to say that I am 50 years old, which I am not and tried to diminish the fact that Kris’s fans cannot dispute the fact that the world cares about Adam and does not give a F— about Kris. The sick b—- does not get the fact that you cannot change reality. Adam is extraordinary and Kris is ordinary. I hope she gets the help she needs!”

Is the lawyer/”investigator” the 50 year old aunt or the *younger* niece? Or was this just yet another lie?

Here is the link – http://earsucker.com/2009/06/24/kris-allen-talks-about-adam-lambert/

SOOOO, are there 2 Kerry Kolsches? Are they both crazy?
Her Facebook page shows one of her “likes” as being Ron Paul. (this is our Kerry…looks fifty to me)

    • jukejoint

I don’t know how many Kerry Kolsches there are. Scary thought, though.

But what caught my eye is this:

Kris’s fans cannot dispute the fact that the world cares about Adam and does not give a F— about Kris.

B-b-but… Kerry cares SO much about Kris that she is writing a whole book about him! Everything she says is about Kris and cheese dip and Arkansas and Kris’s brother and Chick-Fil-A cheating for Kris and A&T cheating for Kris and Kris’s corporate sponsors and blahblahblah KrisKrisKris, with Adam or what he did or didn’t do when all this was happening as barely a blip on her horizon. She may be putting Adam’s name on her cover, but it really doesn’t sound like her book has anything to do with Adam. It’s all about Kris, the one supposedly no one gives a fuck about.

    • ftube2009

Hey! That is my post. :-)

Thanks for copying it here. I had no idea who this person was until this story but have to admit she is entertaining. Sad. But entertaining.

      • deez

That was awesome. I guarantee there aren’t 2 Kerry Kolsches (unless there’s a “Sybil” situation going on up in there). She’s been weaving her web of crazy for so long, that parts of it are bound to start falling apart, lol.

        • jukejoint

That Facebook page also says she is a fan of… Kris Allen. Scary Glittery Alien not included. What up with that?

          • deez

            huh?

She’s a mystery, wrapped in an enigma, basted with a stinky glaze of dementia.

  • kimberly

one foot out the door … sorry for the errors

  • kimberly

Here’s the thing, I don’t give a rat’s ass about this book. When talent aspiring writers can’t get an agent or a publisher, the likes of KK and her dreck doing so a no-brainer. KK will certainly be using her own funds to get it published and then will distribute her 1,000 copies or so out to friends, relatives and glamberts. Who cares? But, I am up for baiting the nutcase. So carry on …

One little mention about Simon on Leno. Simon wanted Adam to win because he believed Adam to be the better “artist”. In Simon’s way of thinking, the bigger, better singer. He thought Gokey was the better singer, as well. This does not equate success. I get where Simon is coming from because I do agree that Adam and Gokey have bigger voices than Kris. It’s all a matter of musical tastes. Same old shit. Simon is wrong more than times than he’s right.

    • jukejoint

See, I’m torn. Do I continue the madness or opt out? I wrote up this HUUUUGE list of questions for Miss Kerry because I just can’t help but be curious about what she thinks constitutes “research” and how well she thought this through and suchlike. But then I don’t post my HUUUUGE list because it just prolongs the agony of heads beating against brick walls, clinging to the vain hope that Miss Kerry will ever make sense.

Oh, what the hell. Here are my first two clumps of questions, in the interest of discovery and “facts.”

      1) Who is publishing this book (i.e., what imprint is on its spine)? Did you submit it to any traditional publishers before turning to self-publishing? If not, why not? Do you have a literary agent or manager? Will it be available at amazon.com and barnesandnoble.com and brick-and-mortar stores or only on its own webpage? Where will the actual books be warehoused? Do you have someone set up with boxes and shipping materials to handle the expected demand? Who, if anyone, is distributing it to stores? Does it have an ISBN? Did you file it with the Library of Congress? What was your print run or is it print-on-demand? Who fronted the printing costs if physical copies were or are being printed? How much are you selling it for? How much did it cost to print (if physical copies were or are being printed)? If you fronted the printing costs yourself, how many books do you need to sell to break even? Will you be sharing any of the profits with charities, specifically Donors Choose or GLAAD or ACT UP or other gay and lesbian advocacy groups? Did you offer any remuneration to the youngster who created the Aha/Tom Cruise cover artwork?

      2) Have you submitted advance reading copies to reviewers or newspapers or press? Has Adam seen or approved it? Has any entity or group in any way officially associated with Adam offered support or a back cover quote or a quote for press releases to go along with your book? Will the book feature a quote from Adam? If Adam does or does not approve of the book, will that affect your marketing strategies? If you think your cover image looks like Adam, did you pay Adam or contact Adam’s management for permission to use his image or likeness? Did you contact any of the owners of the other photographs you say your book includes for permission or remuneration to use their work product?

      • deez

I asked her 8 questions after she said in a post that if there was anything I wanted to know, all I had to do was ask.

Guess what the result of that was?

        • Lauren

She has yet to answer one. She keeps drilling in the same “Adam is more popular on the web and Idol tour” point over and over again.
Kerry, when will this book be released?

        • jukejoint

Yeah, I know she ain’t gonna answer. But if she actually read my questions, they might actually provide helpful advice. Like asking Adam for permission to use his “likeness” on the cover. (Is it a defense if it doesn’t look like him?)

          Next three bunches:

          3) Have you contacted anyone (or attempted to contact anyone) at AT&T or at the accounting firm that verified the results for a breakdown of how many text votes there were vs. regular phone votes? Have you contacted anyone (or attempted to contact anyone) at AT&T or at the accounting firm that verified the results for a state-by-state breakdown of the votes received? (Those two questions apply to all of the weeks of the competition, btw, not just the finale.) Have you contacted anyone (or attempted to contact anyone) at AT&T regarding how many text votes there were vs. regular phone votes and for a state-by-state breakdown of votes in previous years to see if season 8 was in any way markedly different from previous seasons? Have you contacted (or attempted to contact) Adam or his representatives to see if he might want to have any input into the contents of your book, from his perspective as the roommate of the person who was involved in this alleged conspiracy while it was allegedly happening? Have you contacted (or attempted to contact) any of the other Season 8 contestants to see if they might have evidence of the alleged conspiracy allegedly being carried on under their noses which allegedly deprived them of a fair chance to compete, as well?

          4) What is your lay-down date? Have you scheduled any signings? If so, will Adam be attending any of these signing parties? Will he pay you anything or offer any incentives for this wonderful service you are providing him?

          5) Have you contacted state or federal authorities about the possibility of filing criminal conspiracy or fraud charges against the winner, brother of the winner and other alleged conspirators, including “sponsors” and other corporate entities, who allegedly tampered with the votes and unfairly affected the results of a televised competition covered by the FCC and commerce covered by the ICC or other federal authorities? Have you shown your “evidence” to any authority or prosecutor or Attorney General or Grand Jury or any other legal or governmental representative or fact-finding body who might be able to weigh its probative value? Or are they also in on the alleged “conspiracy”?

          • saskin

She does not have to answer these questions because all her real truths are based on true facts. Go and do an internet search if you want to know the real true facts about this truth.

          • jukejoint

But they’re gooooood questions. (Whine, whine.) Wait till I get to #10:

Have you ever been incarcerated at or committed to any mental health or psychiatric facility? Have you ever suffered a head injury, received electroshock therapy, taken hallucinogenic drugs or experienced any other health trauma that might impair your cognitive abilities?

Don’t you want to know that? I do!!!

          • saskin

I do. But only because this Friday could be the perfect day for me to smoke what she is smoking.

          • On The Edge

At the very LEAST did she do a literature review? What was her methodology? Did she file a FOIA request?

  • Idoltard10

Good Lord this is still going on? I left for a bit thinking it would die down. Kerry, dear, Adam moved on a LONG time ago. I assure you he would not condone this book. Furthermore, tearing down his friend, as well as the show that made him does no one any good. Do you REALLY think this book will get him the title after all this time? And after last night’s Leno, when SIMON HIMSELF said that Adam should have won, right there live on national tv, there can be no doubt who the show wanted to take that crown. The only thing you are accomplishing here is making the fanbase look even crazier than it already does, and making a fool of yourself. Now, I can certainly be a secure resident in tardville at times, but some of this stuff is downright disturbing. Adam isn’t losing any sleep over this as he galavants around the world promoting FYE, so why are you? You’ll feel better if you make some kind of peace with this and move on with your life.

    • deez

She doesn’t respond to sense…even when it’s in Adam’s best interest. (odd, no?)

    • Lamberkitten

I am not particularly religioius – but Amen to that Idoltard10!

      • Idoltard10

deez, it isn’t about Adam’s wishes and/or best interest anymore. When that gokeyisadouche tag trended on twitter, Adam asked us to stop the gossip. When the conspiracy theories first started. he asked us to calm down, said he was happy with the result and for his friend. This is about proving herself and all the other people that don’t believe Kris should have won right. I highly doubt, even if Adam himself went to her and asked her to stop this madness, she would. But I had to say something. This is actually kind of bothering me, because as Adam’s fans, sure we wanted the crown for him. But he is doing fine without it. I seriously doubt he thinks that going from being a struggling club singer and a choir boy in Wicked to having a record contract and a singing career make him any sort of loser at all. And he is right. He lost nothing and gained everything.

        • AH

          A-fucking-men!

    • Lauren

      *applause*

      • deez

I love the TopIdol Adam fans.

      • Idoltard10

Thanks guys. For what its worth, I am sure Adam is more concerned about his lost luggage(his costumes, and most importantly his MAKE UP BAG! were in there) than he is about a fucking title he didn’t take almost a year ago. No matter what anyone says, Adam will be just fine. He sure is doing a hell of a lot better than any of us are, or probably ever will, as he is running around singing all over the world and we are behind computers posting on an AI blog.

        • Lauren

This is sad. I want to be a superstar! Quick, someone give me a talent!

          • Idoltard10

Lauren, hate to break it to ya, but talent is not enough. I have more than 15 years experience in dance, theater, voice, and several instruments. I won my first pageant at the age of 1. What am I doing? Posting on an AI blog and going to school to get a degree in a subject I have little to no interest in.

          • Lauren

D: Pursue your dreams! Actually, don’t even listen to my advice lol.

          • Idoltard10

Lauren, im old. Ill be 29 on thursday. the dream is dead. That’s why i left my struggle to survive in NY, came back to my parents, and went back to school. It really is sad, isn’t it? I’d envy Adam if I didn’t love him so much. That’s why I scratch my head at folks that say he is failing or he is a loser. I know, as someone that tried to make it in that industry, that he’s doing just great. Love you, Adam Lambert. Haterz to the left. Kerry, take your stupid book and get a life, you crazy cunt. That’s what Adam would say if he ever got wind of this. Maybe in a more tactful manner, as he IS a public figure and all, but that’s what he’d MEAN. Adam doesn’t need your or anyone else to champion him. We all know he’s talented. He proved that on AI and beyond. He is so far removed from that cheesy karaoke show by now that he doesn’t even WANT the damn title.

          • deez

idoltard10, most of the Adam hate here is being generated as a direct response to KK. She doesn’t understand that this is what will happen on a larger scale if a lot of people see her book.

          • Idoltard10

deez, I’m sure. If I weren’t already in love with the perfection that is otherwise known as Adam Lambert, I’d be completely turned off by some of the stuff that surrounds him, especially something as extreme as this book. Already wrote an email warning RCA about this. Luckily, they had the good sense to leave contact info on AO when the mods first made themselves know. Not sure if it reached the right person, or just a site moderator, but hopefully they’ll pass it along. To those of you hating on Adam over this, PLEASE rethink it. He has no control over the crazy. In fact, he has, very nicely, tried to reel it in, but to no avail. Poor Adam.

  • deez

My head spins at the idiocy.

@ Dickory Dock My opinion is based on facts in reality. You pull your opinion out of you ass and give it your stamp of approval and claim it has validity. Do you have a degree in marketing or communications?

WOW. (see” pot meet kettle” comment) From what institution did you you receive your marketing degree, Kerry?

Point One. Adam has almost a million post on his website and the vast majority of them are positive. Kris has about 18 thousand. Adam can generate more post on his website in one day than Kris has had since he won. (I am talking actual post not just traffic.)

In what fantasyland do fansite posts = votes?

Point Two: Sorry dear, Kris = who? Go ask the people at Vote for the Worst.

@VFTW, Adam=Madam, Flamebert, Fatass, Shitstain and a myriad of others…your point is?

Point Three: No need to type slowly I am a speed-reader. On this point you are absolutely wrong. Google Trends has predicted the winner every year until now when Arkansas stole the vote. Many marketers have a perfect record that was ruined this year as well. The gamblers who put their money where their mouth is predicted Adam. Boy are they going be happy when they find out what really happened.

Maybe you should cut out the speedreading, it does nada for your comprehension. Good idea, lets make “Google Trends” and gamblers the standard by which guilt is judged. (moron)

Point Four: Adam has more BSC fans as well as every other type of fan.

    Nope. Your opinion.

Point Five: What are your statistics to prove weather Adam’s attention is negative or positive? Adam is gold in the US and Canada for album sales. He has also sold out every concert venue on his schedule. One concert sold out in three minutes. Do you think the people who viewed Mad World on Youtube wanted to see a train wreck or enjoy amazing vocals? Most Americans do not give a damn about Adam’s sexuality and Globally they do not understand why Kris won. Kris has a Kansas concert that has been on sale for over a month and you can still get good seats. Your problem is that you are uptight and most people are not.

“What are your statistics to prove whether Adam’s attention is negative or positive?”
How about you answer your own question? “Uptight?” Are you kidding? Who’s the one writing a book because their panties have been in a bunch since May over a TV SHOW?

Point Six: I did not rely solely on Internet data, but when the data that has been able to predict every year comes up with a result that does not make sense I decided to investigate. I have pictures witnesses and video to prove they cheated. My evidence is not “thin”. It took me over 400 pages to present all the activity that caused an unfair advantage and the actual cheating. Since you do not know what the evidence is it is impossible for you to make an accurate judgment on it. I would say it is fat.

Then tell us what your “proof” is…if it makes as much sense as your posts do, I will have to remove much of my brain, and scramble the rest with a veg-o-matic in order to understand it.

Point Seven: I will not argue that one, Xena is the bomb. The only thing your right about is Xena. By the way wasn’t she a lesbian?

FYI, “Your” shows possession. “You’re” is a contraction of “you” and “are”. “Whether” has nothing to do with “weather.”

Ok Kerry, time’s a wastin’. You are probably due to get back to clipping the 1st word from every other paragraph on every 3rd page of the NY Times for your next “theory”. Don’t forget your foil hat. ( the men in dark suits hiding in your parking lot won’t be able to read your thoughts.)

    • saskin

Stop it. I don’t read Kerry’s posts. But when you quote them, I accidentally end up reading a sentence and banging my head to the walls. Seriously, I am allergic to stupidity. WTF does

My opinion is based on facts in reality

mean? (that’s all I could read)

    • margie

      Deez you rock!!

How many shows has Adam actually done? FS looked like a a bunch of women lined up at the local Golden Corral buffet. Heehee fitting since they are known as Cows. Anywho what shows has he sold out besides that one show? I thought that was his first real gig.

      • margie

        ^FS=Fantasy Springs

        • Lamberkitten

He has two concerts in BC, Canada on 8th, 9th April, smallish 1000 seat theatres but both sold out already according to Ticketmaster. Originally only one night was planned but another theatre was booked a second night due to the popularity and overwhelming demand for Adam :) .

          • Pandora

In that case I guess he’s more popular in Canada than in the U.S., since the FS concert took weeks to sell out.

I’m sure Kerry very carefully cut out the internet traffic from other countries when calculating her “data”, since those people weren’t eligible to VOTE. Isn’t everyone sure she did that?

          • http://topidolblog.com TopIdol

And all the women that would have bought tickets to the SECOND show since they were flying up there already.

I hope he changes the set list for the shows. That’s like a huge pet peeve I have with ANYONE. Can’t handle people playing the same crap every night.

  • saskin

I totally started seeing Kerry’s point; check this out:

Google trends for Meryl Streep and Paris Hilton

I always thought Paris was a better actor than Meryl. So, duh, proof.

    • et

Write a book! You have proof!

  • saskin

Dudeee? I can’t read Kerry’s sentences because I am allergic to stupidity but I’d like to point out that this post has 450 comments on it whereas Elliot/earthquake only has 15 comments which totally proves that Kerry is 30 times more popular than the Elliot and earthquake put together.

    • deez

Yep. We could find a lot more instances of “Kerry logic”, here’s one:

Michael Vick got 50,000 times the amount of press that Albert Pujols’ charity work did.
That proves that abusing animals is more popular that helping children.

      • saskin

Finally she is making sense right? Let’s have fun, let’s use her logic about VFTW.

If VFTW calling Allen “who” proves that Allen is an unknown, VFTW calling Lambert dumbfuck proves that he is one.

        • Pandora

          standing ovation.

      • BettyBlue

Did you guys see the picture of Oscar in the Academy Awards post? It proves that Oscar is really from another planet.

    • Paulie

Oh gosh. Inasmuch as I would like to “cuddle this post” as cc mentioned in an earlier post below, any more popcorn consumption and I might end up looking like a sparkle cow. *shudders*

    • Lauren

As said earlier Tiger Wood’s insane amount of press also proves that affairs without protection are preferred according to Kerry’s logic.

  • rehabilitard

According to AO, the book is going to be released TOMORROW!!1111!!!

It will not be long until he is back in Conway eating his lifetime supply of cheese dip.”

    • On The Edge

But…if they take the title away from Kris and give it to Adam, that means Adam gets all the cheese dip…WHICH WAS HIS PLAN ALL ALONG, BWAAAAAHAHAHA!!!! :P

      • blacklisted

The last thing Adam needs is cheese dip.

        • saskin

Maybe. But after Kerry publishes her book, he is getting all that cheese dip. Also everyone who bought Chrus Alien CD’s will return them when they realize that they were taken for a ride. I-tunes will be down for days because of all the returned Kurt Allon singles. Lambert will have to open for Keith Urban rather than going on his own casino tour. She will undo everything and more. Deal with it.

    • barado

If this classic of investigative journalism comes out tomorrow that would be sweet. That’s the day Kris’ first single officially goes platinum.

      • jukejoint

        Sweeeeet!

      • deez

That’s the day Kris’ first single officially goes platinum.

But can you verify that with posts at Planet Fierce or a poll at Rickey’s?

  • wino

you freakin idiot. what happend to taylor hicks fans? ruben’s? fantasia? blah blah blah blah. those idols won, yet their popularity didnt translate to massive sales. it rarely does. people watch AI for entertianment, so by the time those kids drop albums in Nov/Dec, viewers have lost interest. even popular runner ups have had issues…kat, bo and blake are good examples. fk, i voted for daughtry and was surprised by his 4th place boot. but i have yet to buy one daughtry song to this date. this is the NORM. most idol viewers are not idol music consumers.

ps dumb azz, kris’ 1st single has gone platinum. adam is on his 3rd single in just 5 months. his album has gone gold, but thats it. plus kris is higher on ALL the charts that he and adam share (AC, Pop, HAC) ….hmmm, why isnt adam doing better if most of america is in awe of him? fk, how could susan boyle outsell his azz if adam is the best, most amazing, omg vocalist ever??? put kris aside, why isnt adam dominating the charts? why is he on his 3rd single? why why why?

poor adam, i feel bad that he’s stuck with fans like you. no wonder the guy skipped the M&Gs toward the end of the summer tour. i would hide too if chased by old, trailer trash cows. mooooooo

    • cc

But, Dude, that’s are “actual facts”. She has the “irrefutable facts” so yeah, it is a conspiracy.

(Gosh, I’m confusing myself now. I can’t wait til THE BOOK comes out. :) )

      • cc

        *that are*

        Dangit.

        • BettyBlue

Would you like to try that again? ;-)

      • saskin

But did you notice that she challenges people to prove that her facts are wrong.

Kerry is reading this with empty eyes so I’ll have to explain. Dear Kerry fact means truth known by actual experience or observation. It cannot be proven wrong. An approach, an argument, an assumption, a concept, a conjecture, a doctrine, a hunch, an idea, an outlook, a position, a postulate, a proposal, a speculation,a theorem, a thesis, an understanding … etc can be proven wrong. A fact cannot.

  • KmKolsch

Top Idol People doing such diligent research protecting the legitimacy of Kris Allen’s win have now come up with the fantasy that Ashley Ruiz is not my cousin. I am shocked to hear this, he was born of my mother’s sister’s womb. Do they have proof that he is really an alien? Just how am I not related? A better use for their time would be to investigate just how many sponsors Kris had. Then they will not be in shock when the book comes out . By the way, the truth of AT&T’s statement about their involvement and the number of phones was never investigated until I tackled it down. It was a big fat lie. I have names dates and plenty of pictures for those who came through the Arkansas school system.

    • erinnthered

Kerry, did you ever pass the bar? I know it can take few times for even good lawyers, but did you pass it at all? This is a serious question. Your inability to follow even the most basic logical arguments is really disturbing. The amount of logical fallacies flying in your responses is unbelievable. You have yet to make a single cogent response to a question posed to you in this thread.

Nothing you are saying is helping your argument. The fact that you think this is “people who think Adam won” vs “people who think Kris won” is completely off the mark and shows how little you understand what people are saying.

How about you just send Top Idol a copy of the book as it stands right now, and let her share it with us. She will at least be able to find answers to our questions in your book, right?

      • erinnthered

One more thing…see that red, underlined “reply” under my post above? Click on it when you want to reply directly to a post in stead of starting a new thread every time. We might even take you more seriously…maybe.

      • erinnthered

*responses are. This is why I need an editor on call.

    • cc

LMAO. Sorry, I can’t help it. I just don’t get the whole post about “your cousin” (trust me I tried ;) ). *snickers*

      • cc

Sorry, this is a reply to kerry. *back to lurking*

        • erinnthered

Stop that! No apologies necessary, and no lurking! Come back here! :)

    • wino

why not post a nice family picture of you, your mom, aunti and ash ruiz? since you are sooooo fond of proving shyt with pictures :) come on, cows are very photogenic.

    • deez

I have names dates and plenty of pictures for those who came through the Arkansas school system.

      Let’s see ‘em them.

I will hazard a guess as to what they are: The dates will show the dates of his watch parties.
The pictures will be of people voting at a watch party. The videos will be of people voting at a watch party.

Do the pictures show people holding up a sign saying “I’m currently in Conway at a Kris Allen watch party and I am cheating?” (even if it did, that’s not proof) Do the people on the video say “Watch me! I’m cheating. Every time I press this button, all of Adam’s votes are transferred to Kris.” (or do your videos show text block voting….the SAME text block voting that Adam’s worldwide legion of fans did?)

      You got NOTHING.

BTW… You must be hard of hearing , so “WHEN WILL THIS MASTERPIECE BE PUBLISHED?”

      • deez

        ^^^see ‘em then

    • deez

he was born of my mother’s sister’s womb.

WTF? Are you quoting the King James Bible?

      (Drugs are bad, Mmmmkay.)

“By the way, the truth of AT&T’s statement about their involvement and the number of phones was never investigated until I tackled it down.”

      • Pandora

One poor unsuspecting clerk from a store who maybe knew a friend of a friend of a friend of Kris, and little does he know that he’s become an evil AT&T executive with the power to change history.

        • http://topidolblog.com TopIdol

I am curious as to how these photos were obtained.

    • Miz

Cool, you know how to go to a library and look through high school and college yearbooks or go to Facebook and classmates.com. Did you sign up to those claiming you went to those schools so you could find personal info on a bunch of people in Arkansas for the purpose of slandering them? I bet you found some dead person to impersonate. That’s cool. You have mad skilz.

    • Lauren

Kerry, I don’t think you are lying about your cousin. I just don’t get why it matters or is even on topic. So what if your cousin is more talented than Kris? I think we all know that the American Idol isn’t actually the most talented person in America. He still won fair and square. In fact I don’t think any person who has ever broken the top 10 is one of the 10 most talented singers in America. Finding people more talented than Kris doesn’t prove anything.

    • damitman

Being from Arkansas I really dont like being stalked by some crazy bitch looking thru Arkansas school systems pictures! WTF is that gonna prove anyway? Someone call the people with the white coats now plz!!! Put this bitch in a straight jacket like NOW!! Im seriously kinda worried for Kris’ safety. Who knows what this crazy bitch will do! Does she really think Adam woulda been better off winning? Im pretty sure Adam is fine with not winning. In fact hes probably happy as hell he didnt win! The only way this bitch has proof of anything going on at these parties is if she was actually there witnessing it first hand! I just cant believe this woman is still going thru with this book. This whole this is INSANE!

      • damitman

        Seriously I feel violated!!

  • KmKolsch

By the way, Ashley Ruiz is my first cousin. My mother and his mother are sisters with the same mother and father. How the hell would know who my relatives are? By the way he can sing better on a bad day then Kris ever sang in his life. You are sick people.

    • http://topidolblog.com TopIdol

How did a former Meundo member come into all of this? Did I miss something? (Going back to check something I my have missed)

“How the hell would know who my relatives are?” Spelling typos are understandble, but who the fk was your grammar teacher in school? that bytch needs to be fired, quickly :)

“You are sick people.” Pot, so nice to meet ya! xo kettle

btw, what law school did you attend? your analytical skills are remarkable!

      • erinnthered

I presume that if she can’t spell, and her grammar needs work, that maybe she needs visual aids.

I don’t really care, I just hardly ever get to use my macros and gifs.

        pot/ kettle

        • et

          Very nice visual aid, erinnthered!

        • Miz

The kettle looks grey to me. I think the pot is lying.

Said it once, and I’ll say it again. I totally disagree. You don’t seem to understand the difference between the objective and the subjective.

TI, look Here II Here. They’re a mediocre New Age-y pop group. The funny thing is I may actually be able to get confirmation on that. She’s just not getting that she’s either busted, or about to really embarrass her family. If it is true, then maybe this is a good thing. I’m sure they need to know about her behavior, and how it’s effecting other people. Maybe she has gone off her meds.

      • erinnthered

Point Four: Adam has more BSC fans as well as every other type of fan.

Point Seven: I will not argue that one, Xena is the bomb. The only thing your right about is Xena. By the way wasn’t she a lesbian?

    • wino

“Your problem is that you are uptight and most people are not. ”

Ha, yeah folks, she nailed it right on the head.

    • cc

Weather =/= Whether. Geez, I can’t help it but I’m lol-ing so hard with your typos. Usually, I don’t give a damn with some mistakes I read because English is my second language and not that fluent so I don’t point it out. But, I can’t just let it pass esp. for a lawyer (?) like you who intends to publish a book with WORDS and wanted to be taken seriously.

On serious note: Google Trends?! Youtube?!! VFTW?!!!! and FREAKING GAMBLERS?!!!!!!!! (brb getting MORE popcorn)

      • wino

I wonder what her day consists of?

        -wake up
        - feed cat…errr, cats
        - brush dentures
        - eat bfast, lunch and dinner…for just bfast
        - grab snuggie, press play on DVR (new episode of steve wilkos yall!)
-order another 500 copies of FYE
-eat bfast, lunch and dinner….for just lunch
-use AT&T phone to crank call governor of Arkansas
        -harass Mamma Allen on twitter
-practice tossing darts at Cris Allon’s face
-open door to trailer, yell at school kids to get off lawn
-pop in chick-fil a leftovers in the microwave
-write to CNN urging magazine to make Adam Person of the Year for 2010
-take time to yell at cris allon poster for wasting valuable lowler time
-put finishing touches on passover gift for adam. restraining order be damned
        -kiss cats goodnite

        • Lauren

Passover gift? Did Adam find the Afikoman? I’m pretty sure only the small children receive gifts on Passover. xD
Kerry, it’s almost as if you didn’t even read the post you are responding to…

    • et

“Adam has almost a million post on his website and the vast majority of them are positive. Kris has about 18 thousand. Adam can generate more post on his website in one day than Kris has had since he won. (I am talking actual post not just traffic.)”

Adam definitely has a larger # of hardcore fans who seem to live over there and post 300x a day how fabulous he is. I like reading over there, it’s like an armchair trip to crazyland. But that still doesn’t mean that Kris doesn’t have fans, and that people didn’t vote for him. Then again, you are apparently allergic to logic since you bring up your point that internet traffic = no way could Adam have lost again… and again… and again…

And he has a million postS. A post = one. Maybe you should slow down your speed reading when you edit your posts.

And you managed to spew your outrage for 400 pages? Wow. That’s a whole lot of spewage.

    • Miz

Lucy Lawless is not a lesbian. Sorry to disappoint you.

    • tinawina

      1. The popular internet contestant does not always win. 2. Odds makers can be wrong. If they were always right, they’d never be able to run their business. No one would bet against them.

Power voting is old. As dirt. Going on forever. Not a conspiracy.

Sometimes, what everyone thinks will happen doesn’t happen. It is called life.

You are bat shit crazy, and not to bright to boot. But I likes, since these qualities have helped create the best.thread.ever. !!!

    • Joy

Kerry you are the bomb…this site is so scary…OMG! Not a single person on this site that is attacking you has even read the book! Thank God somebody has the guts to publish this book. I am reading it right- and totally blown away how easy it was to manipulate the vote on AI8…Your book is ground breaking and I am loving it. One of these days I hope I can meet you in person – you are my hero for uncovering a huge lie that Adam was not the winner. Knowing this does not change the outcome but it does clear up a great injustice. You Rock!

  • cc

LMAO. I love this post SFM. I want to cuddle this and never let go. (((hugs))) :)

@kerry: KRIS WON. Period. End of Story.

(I really don’t know what you wish to accomplish writing this book but if this will float your boat then good luck with that. Just try to SLLLOOOOWWLLLY accept the FACT that Kris Allen won Season 8 of American Idol because that does not gonna change. It will help you get over it, mmkay? ;) )

I kind of love this post/thread, too! :)

        Also:

By the way, unravel’s Oskatar poster is amazing. He really is an artist.

  • ftube2009

There is a whole lot of crazy in that lady’s head. Here’s my two cents –

“an ordinary guy who could sing a little, beat the phenomenal vocalist and performer”

This statement shows a clear bias so there is no way she is an “independent investigator”. A professional independent investigator would research the facts on both sides, report their findings including verifiable references, and would never exhibit the bias seen above.

“Kris had help from corporate sponsor AT&T”

No. Very poor research. Legitimate investigation at the time determined an *isolated* incident where a couple of AT&T retail clerks loaned a few phones to friends at a viewing party to use for texting. Elsewhere in these comments, this person claims 3800 people voting 10,000 times gave Allen the win. In reality, we’re talking at most 10 people using borrowed AT&T phones who would have had to vote a whopping 3.8 million votes each. Didn’t happen.

“Many believed it was a religious crusade and they could single handedly stamp out homosexuality.”

For starters, a singing competition is entertainment. It isn’t going to “stamp out” homosexuality any more than Lambert could stamp out homophobia if he were to become successful.

Many gay men supported & voted for Kris Allen. No internalized homophobia, no self loathing. Adam Lambert is a caricature. It is as if Divine (the actor not the adjective) meets Liberace & Wayne Newton for a three way and Adam is their spawn. He simply does not appeal to many gay men.

Kris is young, cute, clean cut, and has a pleasant voice and personality. That has much wider appeal in the gay community than a makeup caked face, pudgy physique, & sharpie marker hair . And guess what? Kris has a much wider appeal in the heterosexual community as well. That is why he got more votes and won the competition.

    • Lauren

Pudgy physique? Have you seen him recently? I’m not going to argue the makeup but Adam is NOT fat. Just because someone isn’t as stick, doesn’t make them pudgy.

      • ftube2009

Yes. I have seen him recently. In person, out of costume..which involves a lot of support undergarments (“girdle” to you old gals). I stand by my description.

        • Lauren

Watch out before you make assumptions of my age. I just don’t personally think Adam is in any way fat. Doesn’t make me a sparklecow.

          • Idoltard10

OMG Adam is NOT fat! *enters tard mode for a moment* Have you SEEN that perfect, marble like Glamass in those tights he were at Mardi Gras? And those ROCK HARD Glamthighs, and That gorgeous, glittery bare glam chest? Adam may be many things, but fat he is not. He is an ADONIS, a gorgeous pan of man.

          • http://topidolblog.com TopIdol

You just made me light a cigarette for all the wrong reasons. Calm down in your tardness, woman!

    • Pandora

It is as if Divine (the actor not the adjective) meets Liberace & Wayne Newton for a three way and Adam is their spawn. He simply does not appeal to many gay men.
      ————-
That may be the funniest thing I read today!

    • erinnthered

Leave Divine out of this! Harris Milstead was much to fierce to be associated with that man!

I’m only leaving Liberace alone because it’s just so obvious. It’s still painful to admit.

I have to say that most of the gay men I’ve known revere Divine or Liberace, or both. They really are icons. Adam will never be as cool as they were. He’s just not original or forward in his thinking.

  • BettyBlue

I think I may have an explanation on why Kris won. Judging by the audience at Fantasy Springs and at various other Adam appearances, Adam’s fans’ idea of power-texting is:
    - 5 minutes to get off the couch
    - 15 minutes to look for the cell phone
    - 20 minutes to look for the eyeglasses
    - 20 minutes to call a grandkid to walk them through on how to send a text, including the first text
    - by the time they sent 3 text messages, it’s already way past their bedtime.

The Arkansans, meanwhile, have evolved, through decades of in-breeding, 6 or 7 fingers each on each hand — making them ideal for texting.

    That’s my theory.

    • margie

I shouldn’t laugh at this but damn thats funny. :)

    • wino

fk, that is the funniest thing ive read in a while. yes those sneaky in-breeding bastards! they have multiple digits for power texting! duh, of course thats why kris won.

    • Lauren

I’ve always theorized that Kris actually had children. I am beginning to believe now that he had created a whole army of them just to vote for him on Idol! And they all have extra fingers to text with as you suggested, because of the whole brother/sister thing. ;)

      • et

You know, I think she can get another 400 pages out of this whole conspiracy about Kris’s many-fingered offspring texting him to the top. Yep. She can tackle the issue!

  • Dickory Dock

Oy, vey. Your logic is so twisted and convoluted it’s approaching Geordian Knot territory. I’m afraid you won’t accept any Alexandrian Solution which may, I fear, unravel your seemingly fragile relationship on reality. But, onward!

Point the First: I may be in the minority of people you personally know. The people I personally know love a good trainwreck, and watching the Adam fansites provides 82.6 times the official USRDA of trainwreckery. Delicious!

Point the Second: Adam tards are in awe of Adam. The vast majority of the population either a) say “Adam who?” or; b) could not give less of a rat’s ass.

Point the Third: Now I’m typing this s-l-o-w-l-y so pay attention. Internet traffic/fans do NOT equal AI votes OR relevance in the real world.

Point the Fourth: So what you’re saying is that Adam had more BSC fans on the tour who were willing to shell out the dolla bills for cheap merch? I’ve no beef with that.

Point the Fifth: Adam gets a lot of media attention because he is “controversial” and often sticks his foot in it (Simulating oral sex! Parents are too uptight! Drugs are fun!). Sadly this media attention has not translated into OMG AMAZING sales for him. There’s a lot of talk about him and his antics, not so much about his music.

Point the Sixth: Oh, dear. Your reading comprehension is worse than I feared. [sad trombone] My blah, blah, blah was in reference to your paper thin arguments about Adam having more internet fans transating into OMG Adam wuz robbbbbeeedd!!!!e1even!

Point the Seventh: Xena is on. Lucy Lawless is the bomb.

Point the Eighth: There was no conspiracy. There was no cheating. Kris won. Adam lost. Get. Over. It.

    Christ, I’m tired of this.

I don’t care if Adam “knocked it out of the box” during some performance somewhere that you stayed up until 4am to watch live or whatever. That would be great if Adam were really popular in Europe or Mongolia or Vanuatu. I’ve heard what passes for music on The Continent (Eurovision anyone? Anyone? Ruslana? Trois points!).

    Wait. Where was I?

    Oh, yes.

You’re kind of obsessed if not a little nutty, aren’t you?

    • J

Five bucks says she comes back with “More people visit Adam’s site and vote in internet polls. So he obviously won.”

      • Dickory Dock

No bets. I don’t want to lose five bucks.

Hey, isn’t there some way we could turn this into a drinking game? That may ease the pain a little.

1 drink for mentions of Adam being a Rawk Gawd. A whole fifth for correlating internet traffic to actual votes.

        • deez

          (“sad trombone”…lololololol)

I enjoy how she never answers a straightforward question.

Maybe if I jumble the words, nobody has tried that…

Will published book? when be this

          • Pandora

Kerry is very good at jumbling words! Understanding what they mean is a whole different issue however.

      • Pandora

More Adam fans stay up all night to watch crappy live streams of events from around the world! That must mean he has more fans! No, it means that Kris’ fans a)are lazy and b)have lives.

    • BettyBlue

      “a little nutty”?

You, my friend, has a gift of the understatement.

    • Lauren

Vanuatu? You may have possibly picked the least important country in the world. Your points make too much sense. Work on that.

  • rehabilitard

Kris Allen won fair and square.

No, I did not vote for him. I voted for Lambert. Almost all my calls vent through. I voted via AT&T landline.

  • erinnthered

I’m calling the musical family/ Here II Here connection as BS. She didn’t think anyone would have a connection to them, and got busted. I feel for the Here II Here guys. This whole enterprise goes against everything they stand for. Even if I’m not a fan, I don’t think it’s right to drag them into it.

Maybe a visual will help with her understanding of basic logic. I was bored…

    Do you get it yet?

    • saskin

Here II Here is total BS. And the connection is Ricky Martin. Get it? Frau bait.

      • erinnthered

Not exactly. Maybe I misunderstand you?

Here II Here is a real act, but they’re New Age, spiritual stuff. Kinda mediocre, really. At least one of them is a Baha’i, and I thought it was Ashley Ruiz. I don’t think she actually expected anyone on this blog to be familiar with them. Just her luck there’s a Baha’i who comments on the blog in a community that just hosted them this weekend.

I don’t know if you were familiar with Menudo, but after a certain age (15?) you got booted, and they replaced you with a younger guy. Happened to everyone. She just picked Ashley Ruiz because he happened to replace Ricky Martin. An easy one to track. She claims no actual Ricky Martin connection. She just wanted someone with some talent, and small amount of recognition that she could claim relation to. Since most people aren’t familiar with him she thought she could get by without question. Who would fake relation a member of a second rate New Age act? Someone desperate for fake validation that doesn’t understand basic logic, that’s who.

        • saskin

I meant she possibly is a Ricky Martin fan (frau bait). That is how she knows Menudo and Ashley.

          • erinnthered

Ah. Yeah, you’re probably right. For some reason the idea that she was a Ricky Martin fan didn’t cross my mind. I was thinking she was probably a fan of Ashley Ruiz. It fits with her love of perceived underdogs. He got a lot of flack for being the kid that replaced Ricky, IIRC.

I should clarify, I’m not a Menudo tard. I just remember that “that kid” that replaced Ricky got a lot of flack. Then again, I don’t know how big Menudo was outside of those states with larger Latin American populations, so maybe any knowledge of this seems tardish.

Ooh, a Venn diagram! You know how to butter my biscuit, Erinn! ;-)

    • wino

i love the visual erinnthered! perhaps the only way to get through KK’s thick, damaged skull is with pictures. we can also use a chart to teach her grammar and spelling. oh, the possibilities are endless! fun fun

  • On The Edge

Okay, come on now, seriously you guys…which one of you is this really? This batshit crazy charade has gone on long enough, it was funny for a while, but now it’s getting me a little cranky. Whoever you are, you play the part of a schitzo, psycho crazy Glambert conspiracy theorist PERFECTLY.

Now come on, who is it?

    • saskin

      Noooo? Really?

      • On The Edge

Wishful thinking, to be honest. Now I’m just waiting for more of her “new math.” And that Hillary Clinton had something to do with it.

And when is this being published again?

        • saskin

Bummer… I mean; if this is a con (and believe me I appreciate a good con) I would be really very very impressed.

    • barado

To fake that level of defensiveness and illogic would really take a first-rate artist, but OTOH what kind of crazy spends so much effort defending a book that isn’t even out yet?

      • Mithra

The type of crazy that writes a book like that?

I agree, I often take a step back and ask at some point reading the different stories of all the crazies that this has to be a put on, but there are too many cases out there following too many different Idols. I don’t think anyone can keep it up for that long. With all the tard contests, it was one thing doing a one off fanfic, prayer, creepy shrine, etc – but this shit is day in and day out. That’s a hell of a lot of effort for a parody or trolling.

        • saskin

I know! I usually think I have pretty good common sense but these people are so nuts that they throw me off. I actually felt more balanced when I thought for a second that Kerry might be faking it. You know, because it makes so much more sense in the real world. But then what about the crazies who were pictured at the FS concert? Were they faking it too?

          • deez

I wondered too, if she could be faking…especially with her website that states her wish to attain wealth through the internets. I thought, nobody is this nuts…she’s coming here drumming up attention for her book (money-making scheme). But that can’t be because she’s been posting batshit theories for a LONG time. She really is a bona-fide looney.

        • erinnthered

No, I don’t think she’s a troll. She’s disturbed and disturbing, but not a troll.

          • Verbally Dyslexic

It would be kinda funny if she sends us her ‘video proof’ and we end up getting rick-rolled. Funny after 10 minutes of raging.

  • deez

I’m no telecommunications expert, but how do people voting in the Central Time Zone block lines for people voting on the West Coast? Isn’t their voting window closed? If they were jamming phone lines, would’nt they be jamming their own calls? How does a person in Ark mess up call for a person in New Jersey? Don’t give me that Gizmo crap, I tried it once and never completed even one call. And who was jamming Kris’s lines? His lines were busy all that night too. Top 3 week, I used my cell as well as DI. When I dialed Kris’s number, it would say “thanks for voting for contestant #(whatever Gokey’s # was)” . That was pissing me off. I usually split votes among Kradison, no way in hell I ever voted for Gokey. Hmmmmmmm, should I write a book?

    • deez

      wouldn’t…dammitt (edit function?)

    • Paulie

I’ve seen discussions among international fans about how they Skype-vote Adam during the finale. Aren’t those types of votes considered void? Maybe that’s one factor Adam lost during the finale — he is an INTERNATIONAL SUPAHSTAH after all. Maybe someone should also write a book about that.

(Not saying Kristards didn’t do the same. But hasn’t it been established that Kris fans are lazy? :P )

  • KmKolsch

@saskin If you have that question you will enjoy the chapter on how the voting really works.

    • saskin

Kerry you are obviously off your meds: I don’t even read your comments. I wasn’t asking you (duh) since you kind of lack even the simplest comprehension skills. I was saying that even if you were right it would only prove that your guy is about as popular as Blake Lewis.

  • KmKolsch

@Mugsy It did not take the whole state. Think about this figure. It only takes 3,800 people voting 10,000 times to reach 38 million. The AT&T executive had ties to UCA and filled the stadium with free text phones and land lines for blocking Adam’s lines.

    • deez

Filled the stadium with free phones, did they?

      • deez

        http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0_ONyWOh3SA

It hardly looks full of people, much less free phones.

        • wino

ha, yeah, clearly this was just the warm up area. I’m sure KK has footage of this so called massive 4k crowd, armed with ATT phones.

seriously, what is SO DIFFERENT about the other countless parties thrown for previous contestants? is it just the presence of 2-3 employees from the local ATT store?

KK honestly thinks a couple of employees would have the time and patience to teach “3800″ people how to mass text??has she ever been to a fking phone store? do you know how long it takes for them to help out one freakin costumer? phone customer service reps are notoriously known to take forever in dealing w. clients, yet we are to believe magic happened in Arkansas that night of the Idol finale?

and IF these reps were indeed magical, we are to believe that those 3800 fans were all able to follow these instructions like an army of droids within that specific calling block??? last year, i put on a fundraiser, it took a serious chunk of time to delegate duties to a group of only TEN people, since folks rarely listen and/or tend to talk over each other. clearly, KK has never been involved with events or large crowds, otherwise she would realize how silly her claims really are.

    • http://topidolblog.com TopIdol

It only takes 3,800 people voting 10,000 times

ONLY? ONLY? One person voting 10,000 times seems a bit ridiculous to me, let alone 3800.

      • Lauren

How do you vote 10,000 times? I mean I get 300 from Dial Idol if I work efficiently.

        • deez

Me too, about 470 was the best I ever got. I guarantee that the VAST majority of voters do not know what Dial Idol is. Last year was the first time I used it. I don’t think I’ll even bother this year, I’m not motivated enough (yet, lol)

          • Lauren

Yeah, I used it for Park this year but I no longer have any motivation. I discovered it last year too!

      • saskin

ONLY? ONLY? One person voting 10,000 times seems a bit ridiculous to me, let alone 3800.

See? She is that stupid. She does not get that to have an average of 10,000 votes from 3800 people some of them need to be voting 1,ooo,ooo times. Because. She. Is. That.S….

OK Kerry let’s see if you buy this; if 5000 fans bought 100 CD’s each Lambert might be the least popular singer in the world.

      • jukejoint

I admit that I invested in an AT&T phone with unlimited texting and followed the power-voting instructions from the Soul Patrol people so I could vote for David Cook because I really didn’t like David Archuleta. So, as instructed, I sent in about 500 votes for Cook using text messages. You need an unlimited texting plan and a whole lot of time. I was a very devoted David Cook fan at the time and I still only did about 500 votes. I thought that was pretty nifty, since I’d only ever been able to do about 200 any other time dialing on my phone. 10,000? I suppose it’s possible if your phone has the capacity to store a LOT of messages (mine didn’t — I think 20 was the max) or the capacity to copy a lot of messages a lot of times, but it would’ve taken you all day before the finale to store that many messages and I also think it’s likely that AI would discard most of them because they think it’s too many simultaneous votes from one phone. I only got a “Thanks for voting for contestant 1″ message back for the first text, so I don’t know if any of the others were even counted. I was voting ten at a time, so I don’t know if they only counted one for each of those or not. But please note — I did this for David Cook, the Archie people were doing it, too, and the instructions came from the Soul Patrol. NOT from AT&T or Arkansas or Chik-Fil-A or anybody else. I live in Illinois.

The thing is, I loved Kris and I totally wanted him to win, but I didn’t have unlimited texting anymore by the time S8 rolled around, so I just sent him some votes the regular way, by dialing and redialing. I probably got in a hundred. Not that many busies because I think no one else in Illinois cared or something. If I’d tried to call to block Adam’s votes, wouldn’t that have been giving him votes if the calls went through, which in my area seems likely, since it is not very populous and all our circuits here were wide open all night? The only way to block somebody is to dial his number and that would’ve gone right through as votes here. Why would I risk giving him extra votes in my nefarious plan to deny him votes?

Meanwhile, the power-voting instructions that I used to vote for Cook came from the Soul Patrol via David Archuleta fans who were involved in a get-out-the-vote effort. If we’re blaming anyone for “unfair” power voting by text, it all goes back to the Soul Patrol. And then the Archies. And then the Cooktards. Unless they were living in a cave, the Glamberts should’ve had the same instructions. And I could’ve, perfectly legally, the same way I did for Cook, have sent 500 votes for Kris, which I didn’t do because I didn’t know how many texts my plan included and I didn’t want to have to pay for them.

So, you know, lazy AND cheap.

Here’s a clue for you …. if AI had taken 38 million votes away from Kris just because you say AR shouldn’t have the right to vote and that’s how many you claim came from Arkansas …. Kris Allen STILL would have won.

I’m in Los Angeles and could only get 100 votes in for Kris. I think Adam Lambert fans must have been blocking his lines. Can you investigate that, pretty please?

  • saskin

I like math. Here is a math question; Wikipedia says that on season 7 of AI, 97 million votes were cast for the finals. On season 8, Ryan said that close to 100 million votes were cast. If 38 million votes were mega-super-duper texting votes then you have about 60 million legitimate votes. So the question is: Is Adam Lambert more popular than David Archuleta?

    • Lauren

You are making my head hurt

  • Mugsy

Kerry, if Arkansas is that organized, why is their land records internet access so poor? Of all the states that I regularly obtain information for work, Arkansas time and time again has me tearing my hair out. Parts of the state haven’t even been platted or surveyed. Yet, they can organize a conspiracy to keep a gay man from winning American Idol. Like they would, or would even care.

But, to address your argument, I would like to read your book (whenever it comes out…). I am a fan of good research. By good, I mean thorough and relevant. It didn’t surprise me in the least that Kris won, since American Idol has a history of bland, palatable winners. I’m surprised that Adam got as far as he did in the show. Canadian Idol, now defunct, was the same way. The top finishers were generally white-bread, dull singers. Jaydee Bixby, blond haired country twanger from Alberta is a good example.

So, get that advance copy to Top Idol now! We need to be enlightened. Oh, and run spell check first.

  • J

“fortunately you are a minority in America. Most people are in awe of Adam.”

KK, I call BS on this one. The population of the United States is about 305 million. Close to 100 million votes were cast for the 2009 AI finale. Even if only one vote was cast per person that would still not mean that “most” people in America were in awe of Adam. It would mean that most people in America couldn’t be bothered to vote at all. But we all know that nowhere near 100 million people voted. There are people that send dozens, hundreds and even thousands of votes for their favorite idol.

We know that more than half of those 100 million votes were for Kris. I found several quotes like this one.

“A top FOX source told Access Hollywood that the vote left Kris as the clear winner by a large margin.”

So it’s probably safe to say that about 45 million of those votes were for Adam. Although it is possible that there were slightly more or less. Averaging out the people who vote hundreds of times with the people who vote only once, let’s just say ten votes per person. That would mean approximately 4.5 million people voted for Adam. In what world does 4.5 million people equal most of the people in America? This is of course assuming that anyone in awe of Adam would make the effort to vote for him.

    • Lauren

I’m kind of obsessive so when meeting new people Adam is generally brought into the conversation. lol
The most common reactions are “He was on Idol right?”, “OMG! HE’S THAT GUY WHO DID YUCKY STUFF WITH ANOTHER GUY AT THAT AWARDS SHOW!!!11!!!” and my personal favorite “Ew. Isn’t he…*gasp*…GAY?”
I do live in a conservative-ish area but I really don’t think its that far right compared to the average American.
So, while people SHOULD be in awe of Adam as he is certainly worthy of it, they aren’t.

      • blacklisted

That sucks Lauren. For me is the opposite. After the Kradison concert I mentioned Adam to a few friends and one of them who has a checkered past (drugs, crime, etc) but who’s now doing good, just loves Adam’s voice and saw him on AI. My friendm who looks like a 45 year old former gang member was all, “he’s talented. I want to get his album.” Of course my friend lived through the glam period and is a middle aged (straight) man who loves dance music, so in some ways it makes perfect sense. I think?

  • KmKolsch

@Pandora The Claymates have to take that one up. Every other year the marketers got it right in their predictions.

  • KmKolsch

@Dickory Dock fortunately you are a minority in America. Most people are in awe of Adam. What a lot of you do not get is that there is more than one parts to this book. One part is the Marketing research and social media indexes that clearly show that at all times relevant Adam was more popular than Kris by a wide margin that continues to this day. I am talking about popularity not just traffic. Did anyone go to the Idol tour? Adam sold more merchandise than all others together. Do you think the haters were buying his shirts? Top Idol was in New York at Rock My Town, we both saw how much more attention Adam got, even from the media. The vast majority of attention Adam gets is positive. Like today for instance when in Sydney he sang a totally different version of Mad World and knocked it out of the box. Billions of dollars are paid out each year for the blah, blah, blah that you chose to mock for lack of a legitimate argument. The rest of the world is not like America and once his album is released around the world he will leave Kris so far in the dust it will be ridiculous. Once Adam’s global popularity is known it ill make him even more popular in this country full of sheeple. I have seen Adam’s global numbers and he is in for a wild ride. Another part of the book takes apart the voting system and has expert explanations of the flaws. Then I take you to Arkansas with a fully documented, photographed expose on everything that was done to create an unfair advantage not just for Adam but every contestant from Season 8 Top 13. You may not like what you see but it will be right before your eyes in black and white and easily verified as authentic. There are more parts of this book but you will have to wait and see. I am getting back to work so Top Idol can soon have her copy.

PS @ blacklisted For those of you who want to defend Kris and act as though I am defaming a nice guy who does missionary work I have two things to say to you. First, Adam is a nice guy as well and he has been called the vilest name imaginable by many describing themselves as Kris’s fans. Second, I truly believe that Kris got caught up in something that went way out of control and numerous people with their own agendas exploited his time in the spotlight. What they did in Arkansas was to turn a singing contest into a blood sport. That being said in my opinion Kris was along for the ride but was not the driver. His brother was closer to the wheel. Before you get outraged, I have pictures, you decide.

    • margie

Actually KK Kris is the only one that charting on the global charts. There is no Adam. So pfff spin your stupid crap all you want.

    • margie

You really piss me off when say Arkansas did all this backhanded rigging. I saw nothing…hell most people I know don’t even watch the show.

      • deez

But margie, she has “witnesses”. *wink wink*

(People in cow suits *OMG* showed up at the watch party!!!!!!!!! Chick-fil-A was there handing out samples to get people to eat there? Like they do EVERY DAY at the mall??)

Man margie, how did you miss those strong arm tactics?

    • Mithra

Kerry, what do you plan to accomplish with this? What do you wish to accomplish?

Right now your only accomplishment that I can see is making a bunch of people including me laugh their asses off at your insane ramblings.

      • isidra

Don’t you know? If she can ‘prove’ American Idol was rigged, then Kris will have to relinquish his crown to Adam.

Then Adam will get to make an album! And get guest spots on various talk shows! And even maybe sing a song for a movie! Or an award show! He’ll get everything that he was robbed of when he lost the title.

        Oh, wait…

    • deez

      Pardon me, BWAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What happened to that February 19th release date?

For the 456388976123rd time, INTERNET POPULARITY DOES NOT EQUAL VOTES.
BUYING CRAP on tour DOES NOT EQUAL VOTES.

      VOTES equal VOTES.

What does Adam being a nice guy have to do with you writing a stupid book? Now Kris’s doofussy cheerleader brother is a criminal mastermin?…This gets BETTER and BETTER!

Be sure to include the chapter with pics of the EXACT SAME voting instructions on Adam’s fansites, and all the pics from show of the rampant pimping of Adam (which of course IN NO WAY gave him an unfair advantage over other contestants…let’s forget THAT part shall we?)

You’ve got videos of people power texting? WOW!! That’s some crack investigating right there! Who gives a shit? JORGE’S fans did that .

      Lunatic.

    • Lauren

Kerry, you are right one one count. Adam had far more fans on tour. You know why? Because Adam has those core stick with you to the end fans while Kris has casual listeners. Casual listeners will vote but they certainly won’t go to an overpriced Idol tour to hear their favorite sing only four songs. So Adam being more popular on tour in no way proves that he received more votes.

      • Pandora

EXACTLY. Why is it that the 16-year-old is more logical than the lawler-chef-whatever?

      • margie

I am just speaking for me but I would not be caught in AI tshirts or buying any of that crap. It is what it is …crap. Oh it’s fine if you are younger than 13 but adults…noooooo. Now I know what my mom was saying during my NKOTB phase. Utter crap.

    • et

“@Dickory Dock fortunately you are a minority in America. Most people are in awe of Adam.”

      You are joking, right?

    • twistoflime

So Daniel Allen was behind all this? Suddenly it makes so much sense! He tweeted a few weeks ago about how the cheer leading team he coaches won their tournament and are going to nationals. Get it? They won! Clearly he know how to rig votes for any and all occasions. He is truly an evil genius. I hope he will come work for my son when he runs for 6th grade class president next year.

And yeah, I feel stupid for knowing that much about the brother of an AI contestant.

      • Pandora

You know, Kerry ought to be careful what she alleges about Daniel Allen. HE is NOT a public figure and therefore the libel laws are much more restrictive in his case. She has probably already written enough online that she would be vulnerable in a lawsuit, because this is where “reckless disregard for the truth” could come into play.

Hey, I never even went to law school and I might know more about law than she does!

  • Pandora

    Hey Kerry,
Are you going to investigate and write books about the other times that a contestant has done better on the show than you would have expected based on their internet traffic? Because obviously the only way it could happen is via cheating and conspiracy, right?

What’s that, you don’t think it’s ever happened before?

I give you Syesha Mercado. In the bottom 3 regularly, apparently very little online traffic, no crazy fans spamming polls etc., but somehow made it all the way to the top 3. And the judges completely torpedoed her that night to ensure she didn’t threaten their Battle of the Davids.

Where’s your book about that story?

  • deez

WOW! I just found this! That Kris Allen is a horrible, horrible person and you can just sense by the tone of this article that he is a total cheater who would run roughshod over his unsuspecting fellow contestants to win AI! He is truly all about “ME,ME,ME”! Disgusting!

INTERVIEW: Kris Allen: Doing the Right Thing

Not only is season eight “American Idol” winner, Kris Allen a good singer but he’s a good person too as evidenced by his long history of missionary work all over the world, including such places as Morocco, South Africa and Thailand. Adding to that list, Kris recently went to visit Haiti following the country’s devastating earthquake.

TeenMusic.com got the chance to speak to Kris about his trip to Haiti, how it felt to return to “American Idol,” last week to perform and help raise funds for Haiti, his thoughts about this year’s contestants and more.

Q: What is one memory you will take from your trip to Haiti?

Kris Allen: I think there was a lot of lasting memories, but for me it’s always the kids. I got to go into this women’s tent and it felt like a really safe place and they were taking care of their babies, which are from newborn to two, and just taking care of them. I got to sing a song for them and hold a couple of babies. It just seemed so happy. It was a really cool experience.

Q: I’m sure they must have been pleased to hear your voice. What song did you sing?

Kris Allen: I sang “Amazing Grace.”

Q: Were you surprised or not surprised by what you observed?

Kris Allen: There was definitely some shock. I think the biggest shock for me – there was a lot of things – but the biggest thing was went we went to the Palace in Haiti, and it’s kind of like a national icon kind of thing and it was completely in devastation. It’s like this huge beautiful place and it looked like the Palace of Versailles had been completely demolished. That was pretty crazy. There were definitely some shocking things. There were buildings all over the place down, people living in tiny little tents that are blazing hot, six or seven to a family. It was a pretty rough experience for them.

Q: So how did this trip make you feel on a personal level?

Kris Allen: When you see something like that it definitely affects you. It makes you happy for what you have, but it also makes you want to do something to help those people, and I think it’s an innate human kind of thing. When you see people hurting, you want to help them. I think there are a lot of people that feel like that it’s not going to turn around, but there is a whole bunch of people that believe in what’s going on and that believe in what the UN is doing, and all the help that they’ve been given.

Q: Do you have any plans to return to Haiti?

Kris Allen: I would love to. If I get some time I would love to go back there and help for a longer period of time. We were only there for nine or ten hours or something like that, so I’d like to go back and spend a longer period of time and get my hands dirty.

Q: How did you feel about returning to “American Idol” last week? Was it weird for you to go back at all?

Kris Allen: I don’t know. It was nerve-racking. The thing is about it is that it wasn’t about me, so I think that felt really good. Every time that I was on that stage last year it was about me, and this time it wasn’t. That felt like a really good thing to come back there for.

Q: When you returned to “American Idol” did you give any advice to the contestants?

Kris Allen: Just go out and do your best. I mean that’s kind of a pretty general thing
to say, but I think you just need to hear that. You know, just go out and do what you know how to do.

Q: How do you think this season’s cast compares to when you were on?

Kris Allen: I would like to say that I have seen a lot of the show, but I really haven’t. I mean, no one is going to be like season eight though.

    What a complete fraud!

    • blacklisted

That explains how he suckered Adam Lambert, with kindness, chocolate puppy dog eyes and expressing concern for humanity. No wonder Adam never knew what hit him. Alas, behind Adam’s back, Kris was working the voodoo that he do. Poor Adam just bent over and took it. *shakes head*

      • deez

No one expects the Reverse Psychology!

      • Lauren

“Poor Adam just bent over and took it.”
Heh. I usually imagine it in reverse but this comment is still full of Kradam-y win.

        • Idoltard10

No, Lauren. Read the next installment of the tie. Adam is gonna ‘take it.’ ;) I can’t wait for that. I bet Krissifer is a toppy bitch sometimes, at least.

  • J

Kerry, Here is something for you to think about. My daughter sent thousands of text votes for Kris. She couldn’t stand what she called Adam’s screaming emo performances. Does it matter that she has never visited Kris’ site? She’s not in love with him or emotionally attached even a tiny bit. But she bought his album. Which in the end is really what matters.

I did like some of Adam’s AI perfomances. I even threw him some votes for a few of them. I also enjoyed some of Kris’ performances and in the end chose to vote for him on finale night. I’ve still never been to Kris’ site. I am however registered on Adam’s site. Mostly because it’s so fun watching his BSC fans freak out over every little thing. I did buy Kris’ single from itunes. I have not bought any of Adam’s music.

I don’t have any musical training. I don’t care about what is supposedly good singing versus bad singing. I only care that I enjoy a song, that it makes me feel something. Look at Bob Dylan. His voice was awful. But his lyrics, phrasing and emotional connection to the music were amazing. Technical perfection does not always equal better.

    • watermyplant

If I can add a couple of other questions.

How did you determine what percentage of web traffic for Adam was really from real fans who vote and how much of it was from the people that like to see what is going on with the latest, greatest train wreck with their popcorn?

I mean you don’t think the huge increase in web traffic about Tiger Woods after Thanksgiving was only from his fans.

Web traffic captures the good, the bad and the ugly. Mostly the bad and ugly. Doing something controversial will get a lot of people going to certain sites just to watch the crazy that happens after any “water cooler moment”. That doesn’t mean all those people will do something to make someone win a contest. After all whoever gets the most web traffic on Survivor doesn’t always win the fan favorite because often the person with most web traffic is because people love to hate them, or love to watch what ruckus the friends and family are creating on line.

Also, there is plenty of evidence that all methods of mega-voting, poll spamming, ballot box stuffing and every other way of “cheating” is discussed so widely on line that any fan of any person should even with rudimentary computer skills be able to find out how to do it and be able to implement it either on line or on their cell phone, etc.

Are you saying everyone of the supposedly very few Kris fans used a cheating method, yet every last one of the multitude of Adam fans never used any cheating method on anything at any time, ever?

I also know both in real life and online many people that watch Idol that cannot be bothered to vote. It is too annoying to them to redial the phone until they get through, especially at the finale, and they can’t be bothered to download something like DialIdol to vote for them. Sure they’ll say who they are casting their pretend votes for, but AI can’t count the pretend votes they don’t actually cast

Are there things that are screwy about Idol voting? Absolutely. Is it really fair how AI does the voting? Not really it is an inherently unjust system. However I feel all fan bases work they system and most of the companies that get involved (and have done so every single season) are doing the same thing they do with hometown Olympic athletes or anyone else local that gets on TV. It isn’t about trying to make sure any given person wins any given contest. It is about getting your name associated with some home town hero so the people in that state will buy your goods and services.

      • Mithra

AI thrives on “cheating” – it’s why Ryan can come out on results night and brag about the number of votes called in. They wouldn’t want it any other way.

I just recalled something. The morning after the horrific tragedy of the Glam God losing to that scamming, balding, little creep – there were many posts on the scaries by Adam’s main fanbase, elderly women. They were gnashing their dentures saying that they fell asleep, or they only voted for a half hour because it was bedtime, and things like that. I’m serious. Since you love proof Kerry, go to the VFTW scaryboard thread and look it up, because a lot of that was saved and reposted. ;)

    • blacklisted

Now that you mention it, I also have an account at AO and Planet Fierce but I never signed up on KAO. PF and AO have provided me hours of entertainment, KAO is never going to do that so what’s the point of being able to log in or register?

      • deez

No kidding, I actually have an account at both. I’ve been to KA official only a few times. (to try to find TV apearances, actual news, etc…) It’s boring there. I’ve been to AO probably ten times as much…although that’s still not many. AO is so much more entertaining.

KA Official really needs to up the hyperbole, enforce a 10,000 word minimum on each post, and have interminable discussions about hair and makeup. Infighting and backstabbing would help as well.

PS: It is also sorely lacking in sockpuppets.

        • Lauren

Go to KAA. They are slightly more intense I think…but still not the BSC you are looking for.

          • deez

I had to look at the links to the right to figure out what “KAA” was, lol.
I’m tellin’ ya’, we are a lazy lot.

          • blacklisted

What the freak is a KAA?….oh, are you people for serious? There is a group called Kris Allen Addicts? Thanks Lauren.

      • et

LOL, me too — AO and Planet Fierce are pretty darn entertaining sometimes.

  • jekyll

Kerry, I am very interested in you’re theory. I wandered about these things my self. When you look at all these fansights, and see how many fans Adam has, it’s just unbelievable. I don’t believe how unbelievable it is. Kris Allen Official has 6 people online! I don’t know how his record went platinalum. Those 6 people must be really rich, lolololol! Unbelievable!

    • Verbally Dyslexic

I checked all the 6 people online. They are not people! They’re sockpuppets representing

      AT&T
      Chik-fil-a
      19E
      Coca Cola
      Ford
      State of Arkansas

      OMG it must be true!!!

      • et

        Sockpuppets FTW!

        • hyde

          I know right?

    • Lauren

      I love you so much.

  • KmKolsch

If you do not believe that Adam had way more fans and should have won how are you going to defend all the evidence I have of the cheating that is captured in pictures, video, witnesses and screen captures? You people are pathetic. I do not mean you Top Idol, you will get a free book very soon.

    • deez

WHEN does she get it? In other words, “When will this book be published?”

      • Verbally Dyslexic

But the good news is… TI IS GETTING THE ADVANCED COPY SOON!!

A promise is a promise, Kerry. Come back for the reading now!

    • On The Edge

(just because I know it’ll piss her off…I’m a baaaaaaad girl!)

      • et

Aww, but that’s a great picture. I like those kids. Even that not-worthy-of-Menudo Chris Allon.

    • et

You have pictures of all of Kris’s fans? With numbers on their chests? Lined up beside Adam’s fans, also with numbers on their chests? So we can see like PROOF that Adam has more fans and therefore could not possibly have lost? Kewl. Can’t wait to see it. (Waves magic sorceress wand and frolics with mystical Kris fan unicorns)

      • Lauren

Hahaha can I be a mystical fan too? I already have the unicorns!

    • Pandora

How many times do we have to say it before you get a freaking clue? Number of online fans DOES NOT EQUAL number of votes.

    • isidra

What’s stopping you from uploading some of that ‘evidence’ now? In a court of law, as I’m sure you’re aware, we do have this thing called ‘discovery’. And rules about using exhibits that haven’t been admitted into evidence. So why not, ‘admit it into evidence’, so to speak?

If the evidence exists, submit it. If it’s so apparent, then it shouldn’t need your book to be convincing. So why wait? A tantalizing glimpse of ‘real facts’ should only help your book’s popularity.

    • watermyplant

And do you have video proof or phone records that not one Adam fan followed instructions on how to power text for Adam Lambert.

      http://adam-lambert.org/power-texting-with-att/

It really isn’t something that need specialized training to be able to do.

    • ftube2009

“how are you going to defend all the evidence I have of the cheating that is captured in pictures, video, witnesses and screen captures?”

Forget pictures, video, witnesses and screen captures for a minute. How about some cold hard facts. Like AT&T records showing the 38 million votes came from corporate owned cell phones. Or that the calls all came through the cell tower nearest the stadium where this supposedly happened.

You have to actually SHOW your evidence before people can defend it. Right now all there seems to be is illogical ramblings of theories without any facts to back it up.

  • KmKolsch

@ blacklisted Sorry, I know Marvin Gaye’s former road manager and he produced the song for my cousin Ashley Ruiz for his band Here II Here for a Sun Fest Festival in Jamaica. Kris butchered it and it was unbearable to listen to. My family has real musicians and if you think Kris did justice to Gaye’s song I fell sorry for your musical discretion. Get yourself an ear training class or may be you are just tone deaf. My cousin is a gifted singer and songwriter who took Rickey Martin’s place in Menudo as teen and had a 50 thousand-member fan club by the time he was 15. Listen to my cousins original “Your Dreams” He kicks Kris’s ass vocally and my brother could out play him on any instrument by the time he was 8.

    http://www.hereiihere.com/home.html

As far as the one million votes separating Adam and Kris and Kris got Danny’s votes. The data does not fly. Adam had far more actual fans that jumped on his fan site leaving Kris’s permanently in the dust. It is a flawed voting system. Landlines have system restraints. They create an artificial appearance of closeness like handicapping a horse race. Even with far more fans there are only so many calls that can actually get trough. This contest was determined by text votes. By the way I do not here anyone describing Kris’s album as being “critically acclaimed”. I guess people prefer screeching to plaid shirts. I would not care if Kris could sing better, he still cheated. He had voting help from AT&T and he had a host of sponsors pimping his name and likeness all over Conway. Kris is the one who won by an unfair advantage. Adam wanted to win by singing his heart out.

@Top Idol I have the sane kind of mother you have. She said Brown was found with a bullet in his head after the crash.

    • deez

      GAHHHHHHHH!

InTErNEt TRaFFic DoeS NoT EQuAl VoTEs.

What other ways can it be said?

He was pimped in CONWAY? NO SHIT? GTFO!!!!

    • Mithra

I wonder how many registered users at places like AO are just multiple accounts to make the total look higher? These women buy multiple copies of the CD, singles MV, spam polls, rewatch youtube videos and myspazz plays, etc. They are obsessed with numbers. What’s to stop them from registering at fansites a hundred bazzillion gajillian times, dawg?

    • Verbally Dyslexic

I know Marvin Gaye’s former road manager and he produced the song for my cousin Ashley Ruiz for his band Here II Here for a Sun Fest Festival in Jamaica. Kris butchered it and it was unbearable to listen to

What the f^&* does Marvin Gaye’s former road manager have to do with anything???

I don’t give a rat’s ass about your family’s musical ability; it points to absolutely nothing but your blind hatred for Kris, so much so that you’re willing to go on with your flawed sense of logic that internet traffic = votes without once proving the correlation between the two.

Fail, lawler/chef, F-A-I-L. And get yourself to a logical reasoning class, English writing and spelling class, and whatever other class that would better occupy your time than writing flimsy conspiratorial drivel.

      • deez

Aw, come on VD! That’s logical! If I was realated to William Pitt, it would totally mean that I was the owner of the Pittsburgh Steelers!!

        • deez

        • Verbally Dyslexic

          I run a country. I win :)

          • Lauren

OMG! You do? Can I have a castle? A GLITTERY castle?

          • Verbally Dyslexic

You can have a glittery plaid castle with marble unicorns. But only until you turn 18.

          • Lauren

Why do only minors receive glittery castles and marble unicorns?

I know Marvin Gaye’s brother’s stepdaughter’s hairdresser’s dog and he ran howling from the room every time Adam sang, so that proves Adam can’t sing and should never have won Idol.

Also, my friend the music professor (this is a real person, unlike “Marvin Gaye’s former road manager’s yoga instructor’s stepdaughter’s dog groomer’s houseboy’s tax preparer’s exterminator”) who is a tenured professor at a major university — he also has perfect (or absolute, what it’s really called) pitch — to hear, I mean, not to sing, because he doesn’t sing, he just listens to singers because he has absolute pitch and can tell if they are singing the notes they’re supposed to be singing — doesn’t really watch Idol at all, but I made him listen to Clay Aiken years ago because of all the hoopla, and he said, “Okay pop voice, nothing special.” So this year I made him listen to Danny, Kris and Adam and he hated Danny’s voice (all personality, forced, no tone or color and poor interpretative skills), thought Kris was good in a James Taylorish way and couldn’t listen to more than a few bars from Adam. He thought he was screamy and out of control and could possibly ruin other people’s hearing shrieking like that. He was surprised when I told him that Adam had sung in Broadway-type shows because he didn’t think Adam’s voice was good enough, but then, neither he nor I is a fan of Wicked or its power ballad stylings, so that sort of explained it for him. So there you have it from an actual expert who writes about, teaches and lives music. He does not live in Arkansas, I don’t think he uses AT&T, he has never voted for anyone on Idol, he is not a member of anyone’s online fan boards, and he is not now and has never been associated with Walmart, the Clintons, Maya Angelou or Chik-Fil-A. Unbiased! Musical expert! Doesn’t like Adam’s voice or singing and doesn’t give a flying fig about his vocal range because he hears opera singers all the time and knows what range is really about!

I’m not saying another musical expert wouldn’t totally disagree, because I’m sure he or she would. Absolutely. It’s called having an opinion based on the knowledge and experience you came in with, which is not the same as other people’s knowledge and experience, which is why we can legitimately disagree. The idea that there is one opinion about who sings better that we should all bow down to and agree with is bizarre to me, honestly. I’m kind of an iconoclast and I like making up my own mind about what I like to listen to, read, watch and enjoy. Go figure.

“I would not care if Kris could sing better, he still cheated.”

So he personally cheated all the way from LA? If that’s the case, I’m impressed.

“Listen to my cousins original “Your Dreams” He kicks Kris’s ass vocally and my brother could out play him on any instrument by the time he was 8.”

You mean better singers and instrumentalists than Chris Allon exist!?! No shit!?! Well now I’m more convinced than ever that AT&T fixed the Season 8 outcome. I’d better rush out and buy 25 copies of FYE to make up for the ‘injustice.’ Forget donating money to fund Haiti relief. You know, an actual injustice. My money would be better spent on Lambert.

(No, I didn’t click on the cousin’s performance link)

      • jekyll

        It was “OK”.

My cousin is a classical guitarist with his own show on public radio. He could kick Kerry’s guitar playing cousin’s metaphoric ass. So there. :p

“My family has real musicians and if you think Kris did justice to Gaye’s song I fell sorry for your musical discretion. Get yourself an ear training class or may be you are just tone deaf. My cousin is a gifted singer and songwriter who took Rickey Martin’s place in Menudo as teen and had a 50 thousand-member fan club by the time he was 15. Listen to my cousins original “Your Dreams” He kicks Kris’s ass vocally and my brother could out play him on any instrument by the time he was 8.”

That’s some funny shit right there. I love that you are so intimately acquainted with Kris that he and your brother have had an instrumental face off so you know that your brother can out play him (it’s OUTPLAY, it’s all one word, BTW) on any instrument. I’d like them to have a rematch using kazoos, please. Or maybe on the French Horn.

Nobody gives two shits about your family and their singing ability (or not, not finding Here II Here anything to write home about, quite frankly). My brother is a hip hop artist and he can kick your cousin’s ass. Who.effing.cares.

“Adam had far more actual fans that jumped on his fan site leaving Kris’s permanently in the dust.”

I wish someone would hit you over the head hard enough so that skip in your record would go away. Number of fans on your fan site has NO correlation with number of votes you received.

“I know Marvin Gaye’s former road manager and he produced the song for my cousin Ashley Ruiz for his band Here II Here for a Sun Fest Festival in Jamaica.”

So now you’re the expert on what “real singing” is? I mean, clearly you are 100% NOT rational since you spend “thousands of hours” researching your conspiracy theory… Your *personal* music tastes have nothing to do with what is and is not “real music.”

(And hey, I want a cookie, ’cause I know a radio DJ who is working with Nelly so… therefore I certainly can stretch that to mean I’m an expert on music — and I play the piano, too, OMGOMG. And he’s CURRENTLY working with Nelly and Nelly’s even like alive and stuff [sorry, Marvin, you were amazing])

I’d post my nephew’s but then people might find out who I am and I like the anonymity of the web. He has an award winning blues band so that makes me an expert on everything. That and my family toured Europe and did a private concert for the POPE a few years ago, so I know all about singing.

They all like Kris Allen. Go figure.

    • erinnthered

You know Marvin Gaye’s road manager through your cousin? Did he see Ferris at 31 Flavors yesterday? (That John Hughes tribute was nice, huh?)

Here II Here? Really? Too funny! I missed their devotional at the LA Baha’i Center yesterday, but I was doing other service. Not my thing musically, but I do usually love music based devotionals even if the style would otherwise make my ears bleed.

Ashley is a Baha’i, yes? Maybe you should ask him about the virtue of detachment and the true meaning of justice. I think you might find some peace if you are willing to listen.

Kerry, music is subjective. I personally think Kris is a better singer than Adam. Great voices, to me, are not about octave range, but emotional depth, and phrasing, and tone. Kris is more pleasing to my ear. So is Tom Waits and Leonard Cohen. So is Marvin Gaye.

Since I’m actually familiar with Here II Here, I can say that I prefer Kris to them. They have nice voices, but they are not my style.

Maybe you just need to understand that it doesn’t matter that your arguments make no sense to us. Even if your arguments had merit, and let me make it clear that I don’t think they do, but even if they did, what would it achieve? How would it help Adam at this point? He got the record contract and a ton of promotion. What more do you want? Why does the Idol crown matter so mich to you when it doesn’t seem to matter any more to him?

    • erinnthered

Here II Here? Really? Ha! I missed their devotional at the LA Baha’i Center yesterday because I was doing other service. Their music is not my thing, but I usually enjoy music based devotionals even when the style would otherwise make my ears bleed.

Ashley is a Baha’i, yes? Maybe you should ask him about the virtue of detachment and the true meaning of justice. I think you might find some peace.

Kerry, music is subjective. I personally think Kris is a better artist than Here II Here and Adam Lambert. It’s not all about octave range. I want emotional depth, phrasing, and tone that is pleasing to my ears. I also prefer Leonard Cohen and Tom Waits to Adam or Here II Here. Or, if you want to stick to secular Baha’i musicians, Adam Crossley (pop) or Blue Scholars (hip hop). I also prefer Marvin Gaye.

Can I play a card anyway? Maurice Starr is co-producing my BFF’s album, and my BFF prefers Kris. He, the BFF, also has a music degree, and doesn’t like Adam’s “screaming that he calls singing.”

I figure if I throw enough at the wall, maybe some of it will stick.

You call the activity at What Not To Sing research? They read reviews and pull numbers out of their ass. It is their subjective opinion, not facts, like cold hard numbers that come from sources that can’t be manipulated and anyone can go to and check.

Most of the crap you spout as truth is your opinion. (why the double standard?) Where are your facts? What cold, hard facts do you have that show Adam received more votes? It is your opinion that he SHOULD have received more votes; therefore, you are pulling numbers out of your ass and ignoring everything that doesn’t support your utter nonsense.
    ONCE AGAIN… I N T E R N E T T R A F F I C D O E S N O T E Q U A L V O T E S. They are NOT the same thing. Clicking on Adam Official did not register a vote with AI. Voting on a poll at Rickey’s did not register a vote with AI. Squeeing and thudding @ Idolforums did not register a vote with AI. Honestly, in what other way do we need to explain it so that you understand?

What are these facts you are so proud of? Where are these pics you have of corporations giving thousands of dollars to Kris? They don’t exist.

Where is this video of cheating, I want to see it…where is it?

What exactly is in your FORTY (JFC) pages of footnotes? Does it say “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.” over and over and over again?

I probably would not have written it except that people like you want to defend an injustice and it just pissed me off.

Seriously? You’re a lawyer, and the instance of “injustice” that spurred you to action was Adam Lambert not winning a karaoke TV show? Nice set of priorities.

And in closing, just allow me one last thing:
WHEN WILL THIS BOOK BE PUBLISHED?

@blacklisted You call the activity at What Not To Sing research? They read reviews and pull numbers out of their ass. It is their subjective opinion, not facts, like cold hard numbers that come from sources that can’t be manipulated and anyone can go to and check. You can live in your la la land all you want but weather you like it or not Arkansas stole Season 8 and I can prove it. Don’t suggest to me that that What Not To Sing proves anything. Did you notice that Kris bombed the night of the final? He never could sing “No Boundaries” and “What’s Going On” was a mess. I will give you this, the night of the final three, Kris over took Danny and knocked him out even though most people thought Kris should have gone home the night of the final four including Jim Cantiello from MTV.

“Going Home: Kris Allen delivered my favorite performance of the show. His acoustic take on Kanye West’s “Heartless” is exactly the kind of memorable, buzzworthy showstopper that has America reaching for its collective TiVo remote. However, his first performance was a depressingly average paint-by-numbers “Apologize” by One Republic. Kara hoped he would flip it on its head, but instead he sat behind the piano and sang it like he was reading sheet music for the first time. His piano playing was shaky. His vocals were weak. His confidence was non-existent. His chances at making it to the finale … flushed down the toilet.

Danny flat lined in interest after his elimination. The other guy in the race was so far ahead of Kris and Danny they were battling for second. Their fans combined could not have toped Adam except for the fast fingers of the AT&T trained voters down in Arkansas. I have pictures; video, witnesses, names and places so don’t dare tell me it did not happen. Explain this to me if Kris was this dark horse what happened to his fans? Did he only have them for the one night of voting? These mystical fans that you think Kris has that outnumber Adam’s can never be found anywhere in cyberspace because all the real data not the crap presented by folks like What Not To Sing shows that Adam has always led Kris in fans by a wide margin and Adam’s fans can easily be tracked. Kris has people like you to thank for this book. I probably would not have written it except that people like you want to defend an injustice and it just pissed me off.

    • Verbally Dyslexic

Oh blablablabla Kerry. You’re all talk but when it comes to giving us your cold hard facts aka your precious book, you can’t even give us a publishing date or give TI the courtesy of an advanced copy. You really expect us to believe you because you say you have the facts and the pictures and the videos and the witnesses?

You keep trying to refute our arguments by questioning us, but don’t even answer our questions. You keep going back to the baseless assumption that internet presence = number of fans. You keep trying to buy time by pointing to other things in hopes we’ll neglect to ask you for the one crucial thing that we continue to demand from you. WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO PUBLISH THIS DANG BOOK?

      Time to put up, Kerry.

    • Mithra

These mystical fans that you think Kris has that outnumber Adam’s

I don’t think anyone believes Kris has more mystical fans than Adam does. One visit to AO alone will prove it, with all those faeries, unicorns, crystals, and fantasy art gyspy women avatars ;) :D

      • et

I don’t know, maybe Kris’s fans have special mystical powers… it would explain the ability to power vote, anyway, if they are mystical. Wizards and such.

      • deez

Nice et! They are “mystical”…”weather” she likes it or not!

    • et

“These mystical fans that you think Kris has that outnumber Adam’s can never be found anywhere in cyberspace because all the real data not the crap presented by folks like What Not To Sing shows that Adam has always led Kris in fans by a wide margin and Adam’s fans can easily be tracked.”

So let me get this straight – because What Not To Sing didn’t pick Adam as the “real” winner, it’s crap? Of course it is! Liars! It’s a little unnerving that Adam’s fans can “easily be tracked.” Do they have microchips? Glittery little microchips? Or is it because they leave glittery footprints like a giant sparkling yeti?

I voted several times for Kris, as did my mother, as did my friends, as did my sister. And not one of us has EVER gone to his website. I bought his album (once), and follow him on Twitter. There’s the limit of my motivation. I rather suspect that we’re not the only ones, you know? Just because Adam has a collection of wackadoodle fans who go the his website 800 times a day doesn’t mean he’s more popular, it means his fans are crazier. As you demonstrate ably :) .

I do rather like the notion of being a “mystical” fan. Like, a sorceress. I am guessing you meant… “mythical?” You really must proofread your diatribes.

“Kris has people like you to thank for this book. I probably would not have written it except that people like you want to defend an injustice and it just pissed me off.”

Snort. You wrote it because you have way too much time on your hands and you are obsessed with something that is laughably insignificant. Don’t blame it on Kris’s fans. (But… but… I thought he doesn’t have any?)

      • et

TO his website, TO his website, dammit I want to be able to edit my post!

      • deez

EXACTLY! I set my Dial Idol on Kris (which would rack up 3-400 votes) mainly b/c I was too lazy to push buttons. I’ve been to Kris Allen Official 4, maybe 5 times. See Kerry, does that explain it?

    • blacklisted

Honey, you’re the idiot here who focuses on your opinion with nothing backing you up. Kris’ What’s Going On was a great performance for those who enjoy a subtle hand. Just b/c you wouldn’t know subtlety if it bit you in the ass doesn’t mean that others don’t love it. It’s called emotional resonance and connecting with a song, and Kris had that with WGO.

I also noticed you didn’t mention the best performance of the night which was Ain’t no Sunshine.

As most people have already noted, Adam could not improve on Mad World. His first performance of it was perfection. Kris on the other hand improved on a great performance to the point that casual viewers likely wondered where the hype about Adam Lambert from given that some other dude played the piano and then play the guitar in the finale. Speaking of piano and guitar, had anyone else played two different instruments in the top 3 and then top 2? Stuff like that impresses the casual viewer. The dreck that was Cryin’ was probably stuck in the mind of the casual viewer, like myself who actually only saw Adam’s performances that night and did wonder what the fuck people were talking about since the dude screeched his way to the top 2 (the other song was ruined by the back up singer but all I heard was bad wailing and it turned me off). I’m sure others paying real attention to Adam and Kris that night went into the top 2 remembering who gave the most talked about performance that night, and that would be Kris.

Lastly dear, you seem to forget that AI told you that there was only a 1 million difference in vote between the top 2 during top 3 results night. No one knows who had the edge. The fact that Simon begged votes for Adam should also tell you that Adam wasn’t running away with votes.

Dear, you are an embarrassment to Adam fans everywhere. Even the cray crays have moved the fuck on. You need to figure out why you’re so stuck on the issue. The obvious answer is that you have no life and this gives you something to do with your pathetic existence.

My advice to you is get back on your medication. A regime of Zyprexa, Clozapine and Risperdal should help you out. A psychotic break involving delusions is easier to treat than those involving the negative symptoms of schizophrenia. This is the last time I’m dealing with your crazy ass since you’ve proven yourself as someone seeking attention, even negative attention. Maybe that’s what your momma gave you so you want the rest of us to do the same thing. Tough shit toots.

Let me see if I’ve got this straight. KK thinks Adam was the winner because he has more crazy fans that spend all day visiting his forums and sites than Kris does? My mother, my kids, my sister and two of my aunts are avid AI watchers. Not a single one of them bothers to vote until top 3 or the finale. They aren’t involved with internet fan sites. My mother and aunts aren’t even online. My kids are busy with school, work and social lives. But on finale night they do vote. It’s amazing how many votes they manage to text in from iphones.

I wonder how many other families are like mine. How many don’t bother to make their preferences known until finale night?

    • deez

Way more than Kerry wants to admit. She doesn’t recognize that the VAST majority of people who watch this show aren’t nuts. Until this year, I never paid attention to the stuff that happened after the show was over. I was shocked at the CRAZY. Kerry seems to disbelieve that so many people aren’t crazy. She seems to believe that the only people who cast votes were the people who logged onto fansites all day.

      • Lauren

Same with me. I never bothered to go online at all for Idol until Kradison captured my heart. Most voters for Idol are just casual watchers that don’t even know the extent of the AI online community.

  • KmKolsch

Top Idol, People have posted under my name on more than one occasion, usually they insult Adam. You reproduced some of those posts here. I am a Ron Paul supporter and a libertarian. Far right or left politics are not for me and I do not support homophobes. I did say that about Hillary. Who cares that she is bisexual? Anyone from Arkansas knows what went on during the Mena drug activity. Wasn’t that more important then her sexuality? It is not something I made up. It was in the London Sunday Telegraph every week. Hillary did not kill Vince Foster she was not in town. That is a crazy accusation.
You seem to be a reasonably intelligent person, how could you suggest that I imply that the only votes Kris got were from Arkansas? Certainly Kris has fans all over the country but Adam has more everywhere except Arkansas.
Just a tip: sponsor: To sponsor something is to support an event, activity, person, or organization financially or through the provision of products or services. Do you want to know how many sponsors Kris had? Don’t worry, you can soon see, I have pictures.
I do not accuse anyone including AT&T of conspiring to rig the win for Kris. That is not what happened. The AT&T activity was rogue but substantial. Then AT&T lied and covered it up.
Just another tip market researchers are able to distinguish negative attention from positive attention. For instance Adam had more positive press than Kris during his Idol run. Adam’s haters are there but they are the minority. Voting polls during the season conducted at numerous sites had Adam ahead by 54% to 79% from the time of the top 10. The people who put their money where their mouth is, the gamblers, favored Adam to win. Demographically women between 34 and 62 pick the Idol winner and Adam owns 80% of that demographic. If you think that marketing research such as fan site traffic, Google Trends, Twitter, Facebook, and other social media do not mean much you are living in the wrong century. How absurd are you who think the data does not tell the story? Kris’s fans are not on the Internet and that is why it looks like Adam has more fans? Can’t you come up with a better explanation than that? This poll had more than 9 million people.

    • blacklisted

Dear, you’re wasting you’re freaking breathe. What Not To Sing has exhaustive research on the results and the reasons why Kris won AI. If you had a clue, you would stop embarrassing yourself. Adam peaked too soon, he’s polarizing (which means that he attracted a core group of fans along with people who thought he was a screechy mess. Kris peaked at exactly the right time while Adam performed at his worst during the top 3 (which is when a lot of the casual fans come in and start deciding on who to vote for in the finale). You need to move the fuck on for your sake.

Again with the logic. Blacklisted, your argument makes too much sense to have a place here.

      • deez

BL, When one conducts biased research, one has the right to ignore whatever doesn’t support the batshit. I’m sure “What not to Sing” is a subsidiary of Chick-fil-A.

      • http://topidolblog.com TopIdol

I think, when it comes down to it, casual Idol voters want to see someone plucked from obscurity win the whole damn thing. And not the one who was overly pimped. I think its why David Cook won and I think its why Kris Allen won. They wanted to see the bartender who paid his dues in the bar bands, and the college kid with a guitar. Adam had an extensive resume and I know it turned a lot of people off. Many thought he did not need Idol nor should have been a contender because of his background.

        • blacklisted

Kris’ sales performance indicates the appeal to casual fans versus core fans that Adam attracts. Brian Mansfield published download numbers after the finale. Accd to the numbers Kris sold more singles from AI than Adam while Adam sold more full albums from AI performances.

Same thing happened when the albums were released, Kris has hit platinum singles sales (his sale of LLWD is greater even if you add up all three singles from Adam) while Adam is doing better in album sales. Kris hasn’t released a second single, casual fans aren’t going to buy an album until they hear more than one single from a performer. Adam has a core group of fans who’ve bought the album sans hearing the singles. One appealed to the casual viewer/listener, the other appealed to a core group of people while turning off others due to his voice or the overpimping from TPTB which as TI indicated, is a turn off for a number of casual viewers.

          • deez

Correct. I don’t even know any Kristards who own multiple copies of the album. Casual viewers /listeners don’t buy albums at all. Didn’t SSS buy 500? I’m sure other Glamberts have purchased many, many copies. The thing at VFTW where the Sparklecow was pissed b/c her husband destroyed 12 of her 20 copies of FYE was hilarious. She still had 8 right, WTF is she gonna do with 20, for that matter WTF do you do with 8?

The sales trend absolutely supports WNTS’ theory of the broader fanbase.

        • Mithra

What Idol viewers want, and what IDOL wants often are two entirely different things. For such a ratings monolith, you’d think these would figure this out at some point. Adam was cast to win Idol. He did win Idol, at least as far as they are concerned.

Adam’s fans are really good at doing 180 degree turns to rationalize whatever regarding him. They probably all have whiplash to go along with that dementia. I remember the days when it was mooed that he wasn’t gay. Then they all became gay rights activists. He was a ROCK GOD, but he put out a bubblegum pop CD. They were tripping all over themselves rationalizing the brilliance of that mess. The bubblegum pop became edgy, and he was still a ROCK GOD. They are very invested in Adam. Kris’s fans, casual and not, are only invested in what they like. If Kris started sucking on Idol, he wouldn’t have gotten the votes. If the songs sucked, no one would buy them. Kris has done quite well considering that 19EVIL does not consider him the winner and isn’t shelling out the cash and pimping because they are still trying to bail out the Glam Titanic.

    • muzikizmi

So Adam’s fans were busy spamming a meaningless online poll on finale night? They should have been voting where it counted. No wonder he lost.

I can’t decide if the cover looks more like Tom Cruise in 1985 or the lead singer of Aha in the “Take on Me” cartoon video from 1985. It’s a mystery.

It’s nice to know that there is an art school somewhere in Chicago that accepts tard artists. I LOVE tard art!

Finale Results Night- May 20, 2009
      Record 9.2 million online votes!
Our voting indicates that Adam Lambert will be the next American Idol

9.2 million fans, or fans who collectively voted 9.2 million times?

      Care to clarify that, Kerry?

      • deez

Yep. We all know about the Glambert penchant for poll spamming. There’s more evidence for that (them admitting to it) than there is corporate payoffs for Kris.

KmKolsch, keep posting. You are a riot. But, please, make your posts even longer. Go for it. Don’t hold back.

      • Verbally Dyslexic

At this rate, we can publish a book of KmKolsch’s insights and analyses of Americal Idol and other conspiracies. Screw Kerry’s book, TI, publish your own! :)

Surely the Claytards also wrote a book of this nature.

IIRC, a guy said he was going to, but never came out with it. Probably because he came to his senses and realized that it didn’t matter who won, and the only thing that happened that night was that 19E and the phone companies were overwhelmed by the response.

How can Adam be a “Glam Rawk God” when he sings pop? I seriously (sorry Lauren) cannot take him at all as a serious artist. To me he used reality tv to get famous …not to make good music. He is like Paris Hilton, Kim K, etc…be seen on every red carpet, gossip mags, etc. No one talks about his music.

    • Lauren

He does sing pop, but that doesn’t make him a Paris Hilton. He did use AI to get famous, but he is also making good music in the process. And remember good music is subjective.

More fans, more internet traffic, blah, blah, blah. Did it ever occur to you that a goodly portion of that traffic is of the point-and-mock variety? Or of the circus-sideshow-trainwreck variety? Internet traffic proves nothing. Less than nothing, actually.
