oh, wait. is that top idol? oh, i see. now, i understand the moments of awkwardness. i’d be giggling through that whole reading myself. i honestly thought that it was the authors doing a reading. was too busy trying to listen to the words. you actually bought that dreck? in all honesty, i thought they (you two) were too cute for sparkle cows.

What the hell was that? These women, in all seriousness, are truly strange. At least they had the decency to appear embarrassed, as if they had some rational moments. Just so weird, giggling like school girls, one with her glass of wine, covering her face with her hair while reading the horrific purple prose. Is this for real or do they know a golden opportunity when they see one? I mean come on the glamberts are going to line up in droves for this book. Maybe they’re not so delusional after all.

Ooh la la, how klahzy with all the French. Do they have a pretentious pissing match with each other throughout the whole book? And they were seriously talking about double teaming Adam? Gahhhh.

I can’t believe they didn’t have someone read this before “publishing.” If some family member or friend lied to them about this being brilliant, then that person needs to be arrested for assaulting the sensibilities of the innocents who come across it.

The reading, on the other hand, was a work of brilliance. I look forward to more aural torture.

Oh gawd. Sparkle Cows just can’t stop thinking (and writing) about food. I am waiting for the part where they eat strawberries, chocolate and speak French.

For the sake of length, we actually SKIPPED that passage. It came immediately BEFORE what we read. I imagine there are many more like it, but it hits on all your above points.

Each class ends with a session of 200 stomach crunches and 100 push-ups, assisted by the professor. Bonus final projects: Fruits avec Chocolate Chaud sur Creme Frappe Adam, dessert or breakfast in bed or midnight snack. Strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and pineapple dipped in luscious warm chocolate and then in whipped cream. Extra credit: Use methods of molecular cuisine to transubstantiate the above dessert into a form that will float in warm, scented bathwater.

I am even more confused by what you just read though. I think I am the furthest I have ever been from “hot” after hearing that. And I read fic so that makes this creepiest of creepy.

Yes. That was our point. What we are reading is completely bizarre.

And Melina, well we joke she is Oskar’s “birth mother”. She is the one who adopted him from the shelter. I just was able to experience the joy of him coming into my life 4 years later.

That whole thing made me feel strange and disoriented. I think a few brain cells might have died as a result of hearing the words spoken out loud.
